Friendly staff. Good location. Easy access to supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants. However, there was no air conditioning. You could open window a little bit, but air ventilation was still not good. It’s hard to say there was a view in the room, unless you consider a loading bay was okay. There was no free wifi provided in lounge or in hotel room. It’s chargeable at £3 per night. It’s noisy in the morning when workers began unloading products for a supermarket nearby.

The lodge was tidy and clean however heating needs to be worked on.

Helpful friendly receptionist Naz very helpful help me with my inquiry,very helpful At Leatherhead. Great early booking no issues. Room clean towels provided Great local amenities and a nice Turkish restaurant near by . Little Hampton museum.

Absolutely awful. Worst night’s sleep. So incredibly hot in the room. This was a family room which faced onto the high street. We arrived late after a family function and opened the window. As it faced the high street and was a Saturday night, it became very noisy outside at about 12/1am. Went to close the window and it wouldn’t shut, there was a fault with it. Only got a couple of hours disturbed sleep. Bathroom was also dirty and absolutely stank of cigarette smoke. Did mention to this to the reception staff as we left, who gave an apology but didn’t really offer any helpful solution. Seems the heat in rooms is something that is known based on other reviews.

Incredibly warm in the room, no AC even though it should be standard. Second, I set the notification on the door to get the room cleaned and get new towels but I came later in the evening to find the room the same as I left it. No one cleaned the room. Terrible service, uncomfortable rooms. I will never stay at this hotel again...

From entering the hotel you were hit with the heat, felt like they had the heating on. Our rooms were on the 4th floor and once getting out of the lift it was even hotter upstairs. Upon entering the room I checked to make sure heating wasn’t on as it was so hot. One desk fan circulating the rooms stifling heat. Although the room was clean and tidy it was the worst nights sleep I have had due to it being too hot and stuffy

Disappointed with the room. It was facing Leathehead High Street and I had to keep the window open to get rid of the foul smell in the room and it was hot. There was constant noise from High Street throughout the night and once I woke up as the car alarm went off. I had asked reception to give me a quiet room and he said it is a decent room. I could hardly sleep during the night.

First time I stayed here our room wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests, the bed sheets dirty, toilet not cleaned etc. when we spoke to the reception they gave us a new room although it seemed clean the bed had definitely been slept in and the bed sheets were everywhere. The Second time we stayed here we found Boxers from the previous guests behind the bathroom door. And even though the room seemed clean it didn’t smell great… our friend who also stayed with us in another room had Skid marks (poop) all over the shower curtains… The staff however are very friendly, but the hygiene and housekeeping needs to be updated and payed close attention.

Couldn’t fault the service. Travelled from Yorkshire for work. The chap at reception was called Naz and very helpful. Couldn’t do enough for me and the boys. Stayed in 100’s of travelodges and never had the greeting this guy gave us. Makes a huge difference

Oli, Nas and Maria can’t do enough for their guests! I arrived after 3 years in Thailand and having a week back in England that I was met with a few minor issues. My own bank, new phone, Uk sim. They have all treated me like family and have gone above and beyond during my stay! Trace lodge you’re blessed to have such dedicated staff, I’m currently trying to pouch all three for a resort in turkey. But they’ve all been very professional and show loyalty and dedication to there jobs. Thank you Oli, Nas and Maria you’ve shown nothing but kindness and helped me during my stay 🫡🙏🏻

Came on a work trip and everything was perfect and exactly as advertised! The reception team were so helpful, especially a big thanks to Oliver for helping us out on the first few days!!!

Always everything is perfect and clean !! All the staff very helpful !! Thank you Naz for your help and warm welcome . Highly recommended .
