It’s old Japan style hotel, the room is nice, but other facilities are old.

The hotel is quite well located, easy to find, nearby convenience stores, gas stations, very convenient, beautiful environment inside the hotel, rooms have more history, but OK maintenance, delicious breakfast and dinner. Will go again next time. 

Close to Kumamoto Airport, the hotel has free parking, and there is a convenience store next door. The hotel is old, and dinner is available. Overall, it is acceptable.

The hotel is old and needs to be renovated. The location is remote, but the hot spring is very comfortable.

I have stayed in many Aso hotels. This one is relatively old. The breakfast is OK, the dinner is average, but there is all-you-can-drink service. There are two hot springs, both of which are quite good. At the end, an accommodation tax was added when checking out. I hope this can be informed in advance when booking.

Facilities retain the Showa era

The location is very good, it is very convenient to go to Aso Volcano in the morning! There are plenty of parking spaces, which is very good for self-driving tours. The rooms are relatively Japanese-style and old, but clean! The room is very spacious and there is also a hot spring to soak in! There are both outdoor and indoor facilities, so it’s very suitable to reserve time to soak in the hot springs.

The layout of the entire hotel is more Japanese-style, but due to some cracks in the walls of the room, it looks a bit dilapidated. There is no power outlet near the bed, so it is extremely inconvenient to power the device away from the room. But there are several features of this hotel. The first is that dinner is Kaiseki cuisine. Anyone who needs to take off their shoes to enter the tatami will be assigned a seat by the staff to experience Japanese culture. The second is the open-air hot springs, which are open for a long time, allowing you to further the hot spring experience. Of course, there are also indoor hot springs. The last point is what I discovered when I went up to Aso Volcano. The hotel seems to have a bus that can go up to the volcano, but I only recognized the name of the hotel and it is not confirmed. Please help me confirm it. Although I don't have a good impression of this hotel, I can definitely try it at this price to experience kaiseki cuisine and open-air hot springs.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious

I used a tatami room, and I could see Mt. Aso in the distance, the well-manicured garden was nice, the hot spring facilities were good, and most of all, the dinner was delicious.
