I booked a three-night stay from October 17 to October 20, 2024, through Trip.com and paid a security deposit of $100 USD (AUD 153.11) at check-in. It has now been 24 days since my checkout, and I have not yet received the refunded deposit. I was informed that the refund process would take a maximum of five business days. I sent an email to follow up with the refund process, but I did not receive a response until now. Please proceed my refund as soon as possible！

The staffs are not accommodating and they did not allow us to stay inside the hotel lobby while waiting for our check in. They collected some hotel check in deposit, promised to credit it back upon check out but it’s almost a month and they did not credit it back. Not recommendable for my friends and family.

The location is excellent if you are wanting a one night stay before a cruise but probably not the best if staying for some time in the Miami area. The outside is not very inspiring but the rooms were excellent and the breakfast very good by U.S. standards.

The location is very good and the attitude of the staff is good. The room is not very big but it has everything you should have. The hotel is probably renovated. The old wooden floors creak when you walk on them. The room is not soundproof and you can basically hear the conversation next door. Basic breakfast is provided.

The exterior of this hotel was pretty awful, but once inside, things got better. The bed was comfortable, the shower over the bath was great, hair dryer provided, and the T V and wifi worked well. Breakfast is included(it's fairly basic, but certainly ok), and you collect it downstairs on a tray and take it to your room, which was a bit odd. I think all the rooms are up one floor. No lift. We had an issue with the hotel charging our credit card twice for odd amounts months before our arrival, and I was worried about that. But all was fine on checking in. There's a microwave in the room, and as we were nervous about going out at night, we used it to heat meals bought from the supermarket, which is quite close by. Walkable to the metro (5 mins) and downtown harbour (30 minutes).

Stay away! They are asking for a $100 security deposit which they don't give back! I have been trying to contact them since we returned and they are not picking up the phone or answering my emails. This is totally shady as their building looks!

It’s in a good location, albeit not good for walking around, especially at night. Despite the sketchy look, it wasn’t a bad hotel, but not worth the price. It had a clean room, but uncomfortable bed and tiny bathroom. The real problem of this hotel that after 13 days they have still not returned my $100 security deposit! I have called them twice, at first, I was told it would take 7-14 days, then on the 13th day I was told it would take 7-14 business day*, and if it didn’t arrive, they could get the manager to refund the money manually. However, I couldn’t speak to the manager, because they weren’t there, he didn’t know when the manager would be there, didn’t know how to check, and said I could email the property to contact them, but didn’t provide an email. Going over the other reviews on Google, it seems like this problem is pretty common, and at this point I don’t think I’m ever getting that deposit money back. If I were you, I’d just pay an extra $100 and book to an HONEST hotel.

Good Points: TV, clean bedding, Wash facilities, kettle & coffee machine with extras all provided, 5 minute walk to local Target & friendly helpful staff including baggage hold before and after check in Bad Points: 20 minute walk to Bayside & all interesting POI, dated apartment, no lift for luggage, musky smell in the building, unattractive from the outside

We just booked this place for January 31 2025. I should of read the reviews before booking. These pictures they posted are gorgeous and the description is very attractive.....but this is not the reality! Location....Uber said not to go walking around, day or night. Getting dropped off, we got the feel that this was a sketchy part of town. It's not close to anything. Decor/Rooms....definitely dated, lots of gold Decor. Rooms dated. Everything looked clean. Staff... he was pleasant and professional. MAJOR issue.....as soon as you walk in through the door they buzz you in. You are blasted with a perfume smell. I can only describe it as if you ever passed a guy that just blasted himself with the cheapest cologne possible. After 30 or so minutes of being there, my wife started to be sick. I asked about the overwhelming strong odor....he explained that they pump this smell through the vents! ******* and hotel could do nothing. I booked a room at the CitizenM Hotel, checked out and took a Uber to the Citizen. This cost me a total of $650 cdn. There is absolutely zero value in staying at this hotel compared to the many other options. Hope this helps you all.
