Versus Hotel Reviews

A beautiful new hotel in El Poblado. A short taxi from the madness that is Provenza. The 3rd floor is fantastic with the hydrotherapy pool and the infrared sauna. There is also a listening room and yoga room. The staff were so attentive and genuinely warm. The quality of the grab and go non alcoholic and alcohol drinks was high. Coffee amazing. They've nailed it with the breakfast option. No fear of cold scrambled eggs or overeating at a breakfast buffet. I enjoyed both the shakshuka and the benny. I had my laundry done as well and they said it was be ready by the next day but it was done the same day. Definitely stay here!!

The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were both amazing. The breakfast is incredible. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Close walking distance to many restaurants, markets and the eco park.

My legs were itching while sitting on the bed, so I called the front desk to ask for the bedding to be changed. The front desk said that the housekeeper was off work, and then sent a staff member to help me change the sheets, and took away the original quilt and put a new one on it. Give me the quilt for the quilt cover. I thought to myself, forget it, the staff doesn’t speak English, I’ll put on the quilt cover myself! But I found that the other one was also a bed sheet, so I contacted the front desk via WhatsApp, and the front desk said that this was the best they could do. . . I continued to communicate with them and asked to change rooms. The front desk started to say that their quilts were very clean and it must be because I had allergies or something. If the room was still the same after changing rooms, there was nothing they could do blah blah. . . . . If it’s an allergy, it can’t just be itchy legs that have been in contact with bedding, right? I insisted on either changing rooms or checking out before they changed my room. . . Very disappointing for such a highly rated hotel to handle issues. . . The height of the washbasin is too high, and water will flow down from your elbows when you wash your hands. . .
