The room was spacious But smells in the corridor and in the room were frustrating. Open air onsen and sauna were not bad

It was good in many ways because there was a sauna inside and an outdoor hot spring.

The large public bath with water drawn from Dogo Onsen is the best. There are several types of shampoo and conditioner, so you can choose freely.

The website said check-in was from 2pm, but the hotel said it was from 3pm, so we ended up waiting in the lobby. The hotel was trying hard to give off the impression that they were not at fault. In the end, we were able to check in a little early, but our plans were thrown off. The place felt old overall. There was a large public bath on the third floor, but we decided not to use it. The amenities were only the bare minimum. There is a parking lot on the hotel grounds that can be used for 500 yen per night. I think it's fine as long as you're just going to stay overnight.

I used it to prepare for university entrance exams. There are convenience stores and drugstores within walking distance, so it's convenient.

The hotel is too old and the rooms are also old. The hot spring is on the top floor. Men can bathe five days a week and women can bathe two days a week. But there is an indoor hot spring on the third floor, open to men and women separately, and bathing is also comfortable. I didn't expect that the Songshan Hotel is so expensive in the off-season. It's more than 900 yuan a night for a triple room, which is quite cheap, and it's not even a weekend. I have been to many cities in Japan. I didn’t expect that hotel prices in this small city are high. They are much higher than Hokkaido and comparable to places like Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto and so on.

This time, I stayed overnight without meals, so I had to eat out, but it was helpful to be able to park my car. The large public bath also had a set time frame, so I could bathe whenever I wanted and warm up slowly, which was nice.

The breakfast was delicious. It's great that there's a large public bath. It's nice that there's a sauna in the open-air bath. It's a shame that the elevator takes so long to arrive, but if the hotel is full, it can't be helped.

A family of three enjoyed this stay. There are large public baths on the 3rd and 10th floors, and massage chairs are available for free use. The open-air bath on the 10th floor was especially blissful. It completely washed away all the fatigue of the day. The hot spring water was so good that there was no need to go all the way to Dogo Onsen. Aside from the slightly remote location from Okaido and Dogo Onsen, it was perfect.
