Onsen Hotel Omoto Reviews

My family stayed here for one night in 2 rooms. It didn’t seem to have many guests in mid November. Rooms were clean and had a nice view. We also enjoyed the onsen. Breakfast was served in a bento but is considered a balanced meal. Only downside may be that it was located among the small alleys which made it difficult driving our large rental car. Overall an enjoyable stay!

Everything is good. Perfect room with great view. A real Japanese experience!

Good Service Good location.

It was a beautiful hot spring inn from the entrance. The free space was lovely, the rooms were spacious and the Japanese atmosphere was great. I chose a mountain view room, so I could see the beautiful scenery of the Alps. The hot springs, both indoor and outdoor, were available 24 hours a day, so it was a very satisfying hotel.

Terrible breakfasts, some kind of bento sets, very small and very poor choice, no fruit. It was the smallest breakfast in all of Japan. It's stupid to offer juice or coffee if I want both juice and coffee, and they offer to choose one. The source was good.

The breakfast in the room with a beautiful view is very unique, and the hot spring facilities are also very comfortable. Located in the Asama Hot Spring area of ​​Matsumoto City, it is very convenient to walk around and there are many specialty restaurants nearby.

You can see the Northern Alps, the hotel has hot springs, and you can also see the scenery. The street at the door is very quiet and simple, suitable for strolling. There is a bus from Matsumoto Jr Station to the hot spring street.

I stayed here while touring. I parked my bike in the space in front of the entrance. The staff were friendly and provided a very pleasant service! I stayed in a room on the 5th floor, and the view of Asama Onsen and Matsumoto city was great from the room, and the night view was also pretty beautiful☺️ The large bath changes depending on the time of day, but the sauna on the observation deck on the 7th floor was amazing!
