Susanna Hotel Luxor

Room The beds are comfy ish but hard in some places. Zero water pressure or warm water in the shower. Have to wait around 5 mins for some heat, further more to get good pressure and hot water shower earlier as in 6am. Amenities The Wifi is shocking doesn’t work in room only in lobby area or at 3am when no one is awake. Breakfast - basic egyptian breakfast, along side a plain omelette good range of time 6am-10am Pool if you could call it that is definitely on the smaller side but is useful in the sun. Sun loungers are comfy The staff are pleasant - Allowed for early checking in for us to leave bags in hotel as we explored. - No late check out sadly but allowed for bags to be kept in lobby. Tripe with the hotel - We booked a a trip booked with hotel $30 for two was good private boat along the river with sunset 30 dollars is steep though could have definitely gone cheaper in the water front.
Royal House Hotel

An absolute charmer of a guest house in central Luxor, Maras presents a level of sophistication and style that’s usually well above my pay grade. Our suite (yes, suite - not just a room but an apartment) is a wall to wall mini museum of tapestry, carpets, classic furniture and local art, tastefully pulled together in a manner that makes you feel like a very honoured guest. And that feeling continues when you engage with Mara, Amr and the team - the most genuinely helpful and supportive people I have met on any holiday, and always willing to go the extra mile for your happiness. If you are reading this while planning a holiday - book it now. Suite 4 is a charmer, say yes when Mar offers you tea (the handmade biscuits were astounding), sign up for the feast and visit Abyssinian and Dendara too!
Queens Valley Hotel, Restaurants, Bars and Spa Luxor

A centrally located hotel next to the temple of Luxor and the newly opened avenue of the sphinx. Being so centrally located you will be at the mercy of the vale he drivers whichever way you turn, so prepare yourself. The room had two singles and the bathroom was quite basic but functional. It was missing a shower curtain and the grout was last it’s best. I could hear slight noises from the next room but no too a problematic extent. The staff were extremely good and helpful and one of them even helped to recharge my phone through his credit card and I paid him. I would stay here again but I’d have to prepare myself for having nowhere to hide from the caliche drivers and street hawkers here.
Nefertiti Hotel Luxor

We paid US$373.31 for 2 rooms for 4 nights, or $46.66 per room per night.   The staff are lovely and very helpful.  There is a reasonable variety of food for breakfast which you have on the rooftop restaurant with great views over the ruins of Luxor Temple and the Nile.  Sockets are scarce, you had to unplug the fridge to use the hairdryer.    My bathroom door had a lock on the outside as it needed to be closed in order to open the door of the room.  My brother got locked in to the bathroom in his room.  After the first day I didn't allow the cleaners in any more as they changed the towels and soap, both of which were unnecessary.  Other family members had unsuitable rooms, one of which opened out in to the restaurant area on the top floor, they were moved to a better room.  Rooms are small, ideal for 1 person. The food in the restaurant in the Lane right outside the hotel is good, and the service is fast.  Do check out the Fair Trade shop beside McDonalds for fixed price items. We used Magic Carpet Tours and had an excellent 3 days of tours with them
Gaddis Hotel, Suites and Apartments

I would like to say a big thank you to Mr Ehab, his lovely wife and fantastic staff! I was there for Christmas with a group of 23 friends! Firstly I would like to say that the services was excellent, and what value for money. It best I’ve ever had in a hotel in Egypt, even from some of the 5⭐️hotels I’ve stayed in. Nothing was to much trouble! The rooms were clean and the beds so comfy, everything I needed for my stay. It was a great location for seeing all the local tourist attractions and a short walk to the Nile. I will definitely be back again next year! Thank you Gaddis Hotel
Karnak Hotel Luxor
2.9/54 Reviews
The entrance location of the Karnake Temple is about the middle of the temple on the road from Luxor Temple. The navigation is not possible. The free travel is paid attention to and a large circle is circled. All temple hotels can report small groups with cars and it is convenient.
