Everything was great! The hotel is very clean. It has a swimming pool. Also it has a restaurant on the roof. The food in restaurant is perfect, very good! People on the reception and in restaurant are very kind

Initially, they didn't have a king-size bed available, but they rectified it, which was fine. I hope they can avoid such issues from a system-level perspective in the future. The hotel itself is grand, and the service is good. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, it felt like the majority of guests were Chinese. So, if you have any problems, you can speak Chinese, haha. The location is very convenient. You can find a small convenience store within a 5-minute walk. About a 15-minute walk, across the road, you'll reach the local living area where you can explore a large local supermarket and immerse yourself in Luxor's everyday life. The hotel directly faces the Nile River, and the river view is stunning and worth taking the time to appreciate. The hotel has its own pier, allowing you to directly take a felucca sailboat in the afternoon. There are also horse carriages at the entrance, offering a rich choice of unique transportation options at any time. A small tip: The hotel is positioned as high-end, and the local drivers soliciting fares at the entrance generally quote higher prices, often judging based on appearance. This isn't an issue with the hotel itself but a common phenomenon in the local taxi market. It's recommended to negotiate prices in advance using apps. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the hotel generally has a very relaxing vibe. After getting tired from exploring the temples in Luxor, returning here to rest fills you with a sense of vacation happiness.

An absolutely perfect hotel stay! In Luxor, it's incredibly important to stay at a safe and friendly hotel, and I'm so grateful for the warm and welcoming service from two receptionists, Catherine and Magda. Their enthusiasm and cheerfulness filled me with excitement for my trip! During check-in, Catherine eagerly shared all of the hotel's facilities and provided me with a hotel introduction in Chinese, which helped me quickly get acquainted with the property. After I checked in, she also checked if I was satisfied with my room. I want to express my gratitude again for her exceptional service. The gentleman at the luggage storage was also very friendly and asked about my luggage and check-in needs in Chinese. When I was scammed by a carriage driver outside, I contacted the hotel's front desk. They very quickly dispatched security personnel to ensure my safety, and the two carriage drivers who were trying to scam me promptly left. While swimming, the staff promptly laid out towels, and drink orders were taken with enthusiasm and speed. Everything was so friendly. In summary, it was a perfect trip and a perfect hotel. I am extremely satisfied.

Overall, good value for money. I appreciated the 24/7 access to affordable drinks. First disappointment: the website mentions a restaurant that doesn't exist. You only discover it upon arrival, which is misleading and can impact the organization of your stay. The major drawback remains the taxi: we had booked one through the hotel for our late-night arrival. It never came. Finding yourself without transportation in an unfamiliar place in the middle of the night is a truly stressful situation. The taxi for the return trip, arranged to make up for it, went smoothly, but at a rather high price. Regarding the location: the hotel is located directly in the souk, which is an undeniable advantage for immersion. But as soon as you leave, be prepared for intense activity—taxis, horse-drawn carriages, vendors—which can quickly become exhausting, especially upon arrival. I recommend it for the price and location, but with these reservations: do not rely on the information on the site, arrange your own transfer if you arrive late, and mentally prepare yourself for the exit.

Convenience of check-in: Easy. Just give your name upon entering and they'll arrange check-in. If you knock on the door late at night, someone will come and open it. Security: Just a regular door lock, it's fine. Facilities: Typical 1990s Chinese guesthouse level. The shower drain was clogged and wouldn't drain. The heater was broken on the first day, and I was freezing. Cleanliness: The clogged drain was a bit disgusting. Environment: Average. There was some music playing inexplicably at night and early in the morning. Service: Service response was a bit slow. After reporting a problem, it took half an hour and multiple calls before someone came to help. However, if I had to choose, I would still stay here again because everything here feels pretty much the same, unless you stay in a chain hotel.

This Place is very clean and aesthetic. They have a rooftop to enjoy Luxor city on the top. Kitchen is available to use for guest. But im waiting too long for check in due any misscomunication about receptionist and owner. But over all, this place is very good and just need 1km by walking

I had a good stay in Gaddies, and I had very good coversations with Hassan and Obidya. Maybe the facility in the hotel is not the best in Luxor, every staff showed me their passions and hospitality. It's close to the station, but the road to the hotel is not well-maintained (this is true throughout Egypt), so if you have large luggage, it might be better to take a taxi. The hotel will arrange anything, including felucca, balloon, and transfer to the ruins. I had already booked the balloon and transfer to the ruins, so they arranged the felucca, but the time... I think the time was a little early. I came back just as other tourists were going out to the Nile to watch the sunset... To be honest, I think I would have been more satisfied if I had directly negotiated with the boatman along the Nile at the time of the scenery I wanted to see. Hot water came out well and the water pressure was perfect. The only amenities were bar soap. There was no hair dryer in the room. I used one I brought with me, so I'm not sure if I can borrow one from the front desk. There was a bathtub, but it wasn't cleaned. In fact, the drain was clogged from the beginning, and my hair got mixed in, which was awful. The refrigerator was very cold, but I wonder if the air conditioner is controlled by the front desk? It didn't turn on even when I pressed the switch, so I asked the front desk and they turned it on for me. There is an elevator. The clogged bathtub was the worst, but the hotel staff were all so kind (I told them I needed glue and they went out of their way to buy it for me!), and it was the only relief I felt in the rip-off town of Luxor lol.
