I took my parents on a trip around China and came to Anhui. We passed through Lu'an on our way back to Xi'an from Huangshan. It was a strange city and a strange hotel, but it really surprised me. I returned to Shanghai on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year. I booked a hotel temporarily because of the traffic jam on the highway until after 10 pm. I planned to rest for a night before leaving the next day. The weather was hot during the day, over 20 degrees. I originally planned to turn on the air conditioner to cool down, but the central air conditioner only had heating but no cooling, causing the room temperature to get hotter and hotter. No one told me. I asked the general service desk and they said they didn't turn on the cooling in the entire hotel. Changing rooms didn't work. They sent a fan over. I was angry. Such a high room rate but such poor service! Bad review!!! I have never heard of a hotel with a central air conditioner that can only heat but not cool. I can't even enjoy air conditioning and cooling in a hotel that costs more than 400 yuan a night.
