My room was on the ground floor and you could hear all the trains coming into Paddington station. You can even feel it. In the morning randomly the fire alarm started and stopped 2 times. So haven't had the most comfortable sleep.

Great price and location, was very clean.

Excellent location . A basic room for a nite. The negative is the noise of the tube when they are on service till midnite.

The hotel is ok. They only gave me a room on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, which is not recommended and having to carry even my suitcase up to the 4th floor by stairs, not good at all!! I stayed two nights and they didn't clean the room. Something that I found terrible was that it smelled like paint and that smell hurt me and gave me a bad headache.

Very good location. Helpful staff. One of the concerns is the shaking of the hotel, at least the rooms because of the metro passing by more or less every 5 minutes. This stops in the evening and starts again in the morning. Another small problem is access to hot water in the showers… The water freezes or becomes scalding if other people are showering at the same time in the hotel. Apart from that, a decent hotel.

When I booked the room, I was not told that the bedroom was on the first floor and the rest of the room was down one floor via a half-meter wide staircase. So I had to climb the stairs frequently, which was inconvenient and dangerous. Compared to the price of more than 200 pounds, it was only half the price. If the plane is at night, you can store your luggage there after you check out during the day, and come back to pick up your luggage after going out for a day on the road.
