"Conveniently located near the airport with pickup service. The food and service were really good. Rooms are spacious. A nice pool with loungers and a gym. However you can hear the noise from the road as it is along the main road.
Only down side was that we had no hot water in our bathroom."

"The hotel offers good service, with a lovely pool and bar area on the beach. Breakfast was great with a big choice in it's buffet.
If you are family with small children then it's suitable, but I would not recommend it to couples or solo traveller's looking for solitude and relaxation. It's noisy not only from the pool but loud speakers spoilt the sanctuary of the room and recreational areas. The beach in front of the hotel has many hawkers awaiting hotel patrons to sell their merchandise who bother the patrons who attempt to enjoy the sea.
The hotel was grand in its day, but little has been done to keep it up to date."

"Very great service from the staffs, everyone was friendly and helpful. Even before I arrived, the communication with the staff through WhatsApp was helpful.
The view from our room was breathtaking. One thing to note is there were quite a few rove beetles found in our room especially the balcony area (we went when it was rainy season).
The area of the room is large, even with added bed, we did not feel cramped at all. The toilet area is also large and clean, with the toilet and shower area separated with doors. The towels given are clean and fluffy.
Breakfast was amazing! All the food that we tried are delicious. (It is an a la carte type of breakfast)
All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay here and will definitely stay here again if we visit Lombok."

"Lovely hotel, service is good. We stayed in garden chalet. The anniversary and fruit touch was so nice Daily cleaning. Staff are so kind and polite. It is a 4 star and is clean. There was a smell from the loo which was solved once we told housekeeping. The resort is showing its age but nevertheless decent. Only thing is doors do not seal so creepy crawlies are always in. We were not too fussed - some days only saw ants which was annoying but otherwise ok. The beach had no lifeguard so if you do go in it’s at own risk. We wouldn’t suggest this as waves are always high good for surfers. Amenities there is a mart walking distance and a spa. Not much else including food places you have to get a grab or drive. You get a free photoshoot which is really good as you get to keep a printed photo for free! Breakfast is decent nothing special. View of palm trees and beach is amazing."

"We booked this hotel because of its location. It's close to all the restaurants, massage parlors, and the beach. The hotel doesn't have a pool, but you can take a scooter to the beach club, which has a beautiful pool with a stunning, calm blue sea. Towels and sunbeds are free, and as a hotel guest, you get a 50% discount on food. The food was delicious!
The hotel breakfast was also excellent. There was plenty of it; I read that many items weren't replenished, but we didn't experience that. We had delicious nasi goreng and bami noodles. There were fried eggs, fresh fruit, and also small chocolate rolls, croissants, donuts, waffles, pancakes, and so on. Plenty of choice! There were also several hot dishes at breakfast. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the bathroom was fine. The room itself wasn't great. The hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly. We booked this hotel directly because it was even cheaper: approximately €40 per night, including breakfast."

"The resort was pure luxury after island life! The hotel room was stunning and spotless, and it was wonderful to sleep in clean sheets. The open-air bathroom was amazing! I enjoyed the pool area and its views towards the sea. I had delicious meals at the restaurant while gazing at the ocean and listening to its soothing sounds. So relaxing! I also tried the hotel spa, and the massage was absolutely wonderful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay here. I only stayed for one night, so I can’t comment on the location. 10/10."

"Hotel is well located 5 minutes by car from the airport with free airport shuttle service. The rooms are spacious, clean and nice.
The only downside is that we ordered some dinner from a delivery app and when we asked for a couple of small bottles of water at the hotel they ripped us off.
But the hotel in general is a 10.
I can't upload photos, because I didn't remember to do so, but I assure you that the hotel is super nice."

We extended our stay by an additional night but changed rooms due to the air conditioning problem. It is quite expensive considering the location; however, if you can find a good deal, it is worthwhile. They also offer a complimentary shuttle to the center and provide free daily activities. I found their restaurant to be quite expensive, double the cost of similar meals in town, which is unfortunate as we would have eaten there if it were more reasonably priced."

"Loads of potential and most of the staff are friendly and try their best. The resort could focus on training their employees so that they can deliver services on a more higher level. They are able to do their jobs but it's very basic and doesn't fit the brand image that they are trying to portray. The food quality was not of high standard and when the hotel is not full they cold probably provide a set menu for breakfast. It may not be as good at first, but for reducing food wastage and food related health it could be beneficial. Our stomachs weren't happy when we ate at the resort because of this. For staff, you can empower your workforce by rather having a few people who are highly skilled but in a variety of areas. Maybe doing family weekends and have a kids club going to get younger families witih kids under 12 to come, as I feel like this is a great resort for young families since the beach is calm and the pools are set up like that. There is a massive area on the one side of the common area that could possibly have a play area with a little crafts centre going. The location is far from most places so if the resort focused on uplifting this would probably help a lot. It really has a lot of potential."

CamposI had an amazing stay in this resort. The room was beautiful big and clean. It had a porch with an access to swimming pool to share with two other rooms. Apart the main pool and restaurant area in from of the beach was just great. I stayed on my own for two days and would’ve love to extend my stay longer. All the staff was so attentive and helpful and so friendly. I will recommend it to anyone, specially couples of families… but for solo travelers looking to some quiet and relaxing time is also perfect. Will try to come back again

PPocketSpaceNeedless to say I was really glad when I stumbled upon this cute cabin. The amenities are great for clamping they even catered to food, wood logs and marshmallows at your door step. Price is great too!! Will be back again.
One thing to improve is the pillow quality as my husband and I had neck issues after the stay.

LLaura SlavinskaThe location of the hotel is very good. And the rooms and houses are also very nice. The downside is the horrible personal. They are not client oriented and hotel do not provide good level of service. First day when we arrived at the hotel we booked gili island tour with them. Booking from hotel you expect high level of service, but this was the worst excursion I have ever been to! First they not wanted to provide things they promised - no snorkelling exuipment, no towels. Water they not provided for whole day and the boat was horrible - with no stairs to get back on it after you jump in the water to snorkel. My husband needed to pull me up from hands on the boat as I could not get there without stairs on my own. From 3 islands we saw only 1. When we came to first island they sag it is too big currant and when we asked to go walking instead little bit in gili travangan - they not let us out. We saw Only gili menu. The last island also was with strong currant and we not saw it. When asked to bring to first island to walk, they asked us to pay additional. After this they offered us waterfall excursion eith reduced price, but in the end when we were taken to waterfalls we needed to pay additional for guide and entry. In the end can say - do not book any excursions with them as they cheat all the time. Massage in hotel also weak. And coackroaches are often comming to room. In the end we have not good aftertaste after this hotel visit. In the picture we added the person who is responsible for excursions and does cheating for tourists.

MMateuszI had high expectations for my stay at Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok, given its potential and picturesque setting. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying, marking a clear departure from the resort's former glory days.
The first thing that struck me was the overall lack of maintenance. It's evident that the property has seen better days, with clear signs of wear and tear. The grounds, which could have been immaculate, were poorly kept, diminishing the natural beauty of the location.
A major letdown was the swimming pool. Despite the tropical allure, the pool was in a dire state - the water was murky, and it felt uninviting. Even after I pointed this out, and the staff seemingly cleaned it, the improvement was minimal. The water remained cloudy, making it less appealing for a refreshing dip.
The room itself was just okay. The air conditioning worked well, which was a relief, but this was overshadowed by the state of the bathroom. It was disappointingly dirty, with massive stains and a shower glass covered in limescale. It seemed as if it had only been rinsed with water, without any proper cleaning agents.
Adding to the discomfort was the sight of several out-of-use rooms. Through their windows, one could see disarray - bare mattresses, safes left haphazardly on them. It was a sad sight and spoke volumes about the current state of the resort.
Overall, Kebun Villas & Resort Lombok falls short of its potential. It's a shame to see a place with so much promise deteriorate like this. The management needs to take immediate action to restore and maintain the property to its former standards. Until then, I find it hard to recommend this resort for a pleasant stay.

The room I initially booked (paid extra for AC and hot water) was just dirty and I could not control the AC bc remote wasn’t working so it was always on
I could clearly see that no one had cleaned it (see first three pictures) and tbh bathroom felt unsafe with electric cables next to shower
I asked to change and they tried to give to charge me extra for another room - I told them either I have what I paid for (AC and clean bedsheets) either it’s ok they pay me back and I leave
The staff said I’d need to talk to the manager and when I said ok bring me the manager they never got them and offered me third room without paying extra (feels dishonest that they didn’t show me this one first)
Bedsheets were okayish (so many weird stains, see pictures) but this one had no hot water - and they clearly said that I got downgraded. They wanted me to pay extra for the upgrade but do you think they paid me back the difference for the downgrade? Of course not (feels dishonest to charge extra for things you paid for initially but no pay back when you provide less than was paid for)
I don’t know how much a hotel like this needs a pool (which was really nice by the way) when they’re so close to the beach. Maybe they should put the pool budget into clean rooms and hot water lol

I've stayed at this hotel twice, opting for the modern rooms. While the location is excellent – across from the beach and near the harbor – my experience was marred by some issues.
Cleanliness was average, with signs that the room could benefit from a deep clean. I found mould in the fridge, dirt around the shelves, and a noticeable stain on the floor that was missed during mopping.
Unfortunately, my stay was further tainted by a dishonest staff member who intentionally overcharged me for an iced latte. When I questioned the price, she acknowledged it was expensive without correcting the issue. To make matters worse, she gave me the wrong change. The next day, another staff member quoted a significantly lower price for the same drink.
While most staff members were polite and helpful, the presence of at least one dishonest employee is concerning. The food was hit-or-miss, but the hotel's location and some friendly staff aren't enough to outweigh the negative experiences.
I'll think twice before staying here again, and I hope the hotel addresses these issues to provide a better experience for future guests.

During shower, the hot water is not possible to adjust, the water either too hot or too cold during shower.

CChenBuyuI want to say positive experience first. The on site restaurant is delicious and some speciality food that no matter you just land in Lombok or about to leave should give it a try. The beef soup is superb. The staff is very friendly. There's a huge dining / common area at the second floor which a plus for anyone wants to spend a bit time outside of the room.
However, staff couldn't give me straight answers such as how to get to the airport nor if I can check out late. I think being named ”Airport” hotel, such request should be common. Further, there is no hot water and my room was windowless. This wasn't obvious in the booking and during my month long travel in Indonesia I typically assume such amenity exists by default. I think the hotel should make it obvious given the location is next to an International Airport. Finally, the AC is very loud in the room. The cleanliness seems a bit lacking in the toilet. My toilet door wasn't able to close properly.
I came to visit during Ramadan so breakfast wasn't available. I wish staff would have made it known in advance thus I'd prepare breakfast another way. (Perhaps a packaged breakfast for non-fasting guests would be a really gesture if kitchen has to be closed)
