Staffs are exceptionally friendly and facilities are clean and well organized. Location is near to tourist attractions though it is on the hill. Room is pretty small.

The river view room and toilet were small for one person so I’d image a couple would be uncomfortable here. The location is right in the heart of Alfama and a 10-15 minute walk to Chiado/Barrio Alto. I was excited to come and stay at this hotel after reading the reviews about how friendly the staff are, but I did not receive any welcoming or friendly service from any of the staff here. In fact, I felt unwelcome and almost as if I was bothering them when I spoke to them at the reception or asked first a simple request like water for my room. I previously stayed at Montebelo Vista Allegre hotel in Chiado and I would recommend this hotel instead. I wish I stayed there for the entirety of my trip.

I was so so satisfied and it was the best hotel. It was so good that I would recommend it to anyone. It's a hotel I really want to go back to.
