It was a bit tricky to find when you’re only looking at the map, since it is not the corner building but a bit down the road where the street art is. But a very nice and big space with lots of lounge options. Bedrooms were quite nice too. I would have loved to stay a bit longer!

Beautiful hostel in Suhue, more quiet than lijiang but at 25 min with car… staff is super helpfull and kind….i recommended it

Great hostel to chill and near to the jade mountain. Music is just a bit too loud.

Right next to a calm old town (not Lijiang old town). Lovely place with many young people to meet. It is clean with food and coffee options. Xiao Xiao at the frint desk was very friendly:)

It was clean and spacious and the staff were rlly friendly! Gym was run down and dusty but can't expect much for the price. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it!

Great staff who's very helpful when it comes to booking tickets or helping you find other people to carpool or visit attractions with via their group WeChat . They also organise activities in the hostel. It's really well located, from there it's easy to visit Lijiang, Baisha and the Jade Snow mountain

The place incarnates the essence of youth hostel: for the youth, by the youth. It offers various kinds of entertainment, including a free to use pool table, a well furnished bar, cheap meals and, on the only night I stayed there, live music. Moreover, you are provided with a towel and a complimentary bottle of water, which is uncommon in youth hostels. The guys working there were helpful and nice. On the down side, it is next to Shuhe old town, but over 4 km out of the main attractions of Lijiang, meaning some time consuming back and forth by bus or taxi if you don't have your own means transportation. My time there was short, but good.

Just fine and clean enough but I think there’s better value for your money elsewhere. The quiet hours are not observed and the walls are thin.

Nice hostel in Shuhe, a lot more relaxed than Lijiang ancient town. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The experience was exceptional, with a plethora of daily activities and an atmosphere that radiates comfort. This hotel is a haven for those seeking travel companions, as I met numerous wonderful people and embarked on adventures with many of them. The full-time staff, notably 曉曉 and 小鄧, exhibited extraordinary friendliness, and the entire team demonstrated unwavering dedication. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

My second excellent stay at a Desti hostel. The building itself had a very cool design and I imagine it would be a very lively place to stay during the peak season. The dorm and bathroom were very clean like in the other Desti I stayed in. The kids at reception were so nice and helped me book tickets that otherwise would have been very difficult to book as a non-Chinese speaker. The hostel is not in Lijiang proper, it is in a different old Town that is also very nice and quieter than Lijiang. It is about a 20 minute drive from Lijiang Old Town. Many buses to the various attractions leave from Lijiang, so you need to factor that driving time into your planning.
