Located in a quite street but convenient to walk to any places. The Host Fu is super helpful, service is excellent. Especially like the interior art and decor, and the efforts that the owner put in maintaining the place. Feel like you are staying in a museum or art gallery rather than hotel.

The building was a lot bigger than I thought. The deco inside the hotel was very tastefully done throughout. It’s on top of the ancient Lijiang Old Town, so you had a great view of the town on the 2nd floor. It also had a washing machine free to use but without a tumbler dryer. Anyway, my laundry was dry within 2 days hanging in my room. We didn’t have breakfast there everyday, but when we checked they told us that they were free ! What a pleasant surprise.

Nice accommodation with big room. Location is convenient and close to many shops. Wangulou is a short walk away. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful, and helped us with our luggages and gave us recommendation of places to visit. Interior is also very nice and good for photo taking. Thanks for the hospitality!

Super clean and chill hotel, the rooms are spacious and cost. The hotel is situated on a quiet street but at the same time close to busy streets. I think the location is just perfect! They have a wonderful tearoom for sunrise watching!

No tea/coffee facilities, bed is not made up properly. They did change new towels every day and replace new tooth brush. Breakfast is simple porridge or noodles. Location is right on top of the hill so there’s good and bad about it. Going down to the market square is easy but getting back is an uphill journey. Beautiful hotel.

We were staying in Xiyun Academy Inn for 4 nights. The staffs were very kind and helpful. The room is very good with very nice decoration. Hotel location is quite convenient. There is a good view from the tea room to the old city of Lijang. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This is a really beautiful hotel. It’s located at the top of the old town. It oozes tranquility and calm. The people running it are kind and helpful. The breakfast is Chinese style but ok. Would definitely come back.

Staying at this hotel was a sensory delight from start to finish. Waking up to the refreshing scent of the surrounding area was a perfect way to begin each day. The location, perched at the pinnacle of Lijiang Old Town, offered unparalleled views and easy access to all the attractions. What truly set this stay apart was the impeccable customer service provided by Xiao Fu. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor enhanced the overall experience. However, the only downside was the faulty shower in the bathroom, which could benefit from improvement. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would still highly recommend this hotel for its atmosphere, location, and exceptional service.

Nice place with great view. Located at mid hill. A few steps from car drop off point. A good work out when you returned from the town square though. Overall, love the place and breakfast.

The location was very good and the place was super nicely decorated and even had a great view of the ancient town. Great stay for us! Host was very friendly :)

Love the hotel very much. The best hotel we have stayed during the trip. Feel like in a art gallery instead of a hotel. The interior is superb. Location in Lijiang ancient town yet convenient to access by car, near to the road. The breakfast offered in was great too. Mr Hsu service was great and helpful.
