In Lhasa, I booked a room temporarily without planning in advance or comparing prices carefully. The room I finally selected was unexpectedly spacious and surprisingly reasonably priced, which made me full of surprises for this stay. The room not only had ample space, but also was equipped with basic living facilities, from comfortable beds to clean bathing spaces.
During my stay, I deeply felt the enthusiastic service of the hotel staff. Whether it was the receptionist at the front desk or the cleaning lady, they always smiled and patiently answered every question I asked.
The location of this hotel is also very convenient. It is not far from the Potala Palace. I can walk there in the morning and feel the tranquility and solemnity there. At night, I can also overlook the night view of the Potala Palace from the balcony of the hotel. The brightly lit palace looks particularly mysterious in the night.
This temporary accommodation experience not only gave me a deeper understanding of Lhasa, but also left me with a deep impression of this hotel. It is not just a simple place to stay, but also a warm memory of my journey.
Hotel service is in place, breakfast is rich, staff is courteous and professional, overall satisfaction, first-class view, to all attractions are very square, there are parking spaces for dinner on Wanda Guangming Street nearby, and there is a private parking lot for self-driving.
The hotel environment is very good, clean and tidy, it can be seen that it has been cleaned up with care, and the location is also good, not far from the Jokhang Temple Potala Palace and the museum. The surrounding area is very lively, the hotel also has a civil aviation bureau pick-up service, especially convenient. There is an oxygen generator and humidifier in the room. It is really good. The service staff Dan Zeng and Awang also helped us park, carry luggage, and the service was aware that the location 👍🏻 was very good. I will choose to stay again next time!
The hotel's room service is very good, especially the room attendants Laqu and Qiongji's attentive service and good room hygiene. I would like to praise these two waiters.
Hotel near Drepung Monastery/Jinzhu West Road,Lhasa

Facilities: Complete and very comfortable
Hygiene: clean and tidy
Environment: Comfortable
Good service
The hotel service is warm and thoughtful. It is also very close to Drepung Monastery. You can enjoy the view from a distance. It is the best resting point between Shannan and Shigatse when leaving Lhasa.
I stayed in the cheapest and most common room type. The disadvantage is that although you can see the garden on the first floor, it is not worth seeing. The hotel is relatively large. If the room is arranged closer to the inside, it may take five or six minutes to enter and exit the hotel door. .
Anyway, except that there is no bathtub and the bathroom is smaller, other facilities, environment and services in the room are all five-star standards.
I was originally worried that the state-owned hotel facilities were old, but that was not the case. They should have been regularly repaired. The toilet is the latest intelligent warm toilet. The Yuyue medical oxygen supply device can diffuse moisture throughout the room at all times. The other furniture and decorations do not have a shabby feel. The toiletries are all in disposable mid-to-high-end small bottles. The hot water for showers is large. It's very hot, fully equipped with clothes hangers, shoe wipers, high-end green tea bags, two large reusable bags, white ceramic tea cups as clean as new, trash cans clean and not covered with plastic garbage bags (it can be said that every trash can is changed, high-end hotel processing method)
I don’t know why the platform said that some rooms do not have air conditioning, but my ordinary room also has central air conditioning.
The most satisfying thing is the breakfast, which can be said to be six-star. No wonder the separate charge is 98. It can be said that the variety is complete and the taste is good. It includes several kinds of Tibetan snacks, yogurt and butter tea, as well as Chinese and Western breakfasts and drinks. This is surprising, and few state-owned high-end hotels can do this. I happened to be not in a hurry in the morning, so I ate slowly for more than half an hour, and the waiter was also very patient in serving me. Thanks!
Maybe I was so comfortable that I forgot to take pictures.
The room was clean and the parking lot was spacious. I am not good at parking, so there are dedicated parking attendants. The front desk service was very good, and they upgraded our room. Although the room was a bit old, fortunately, someone came immediately when there was a problem, and the problem was handled in a timely manner.

GGuest UserShare this comment with friends in need. (Of course, I did a lot of research when choosing a hotel, and I finally chose James Coffin, which I am very satisfied with)
Booked a double bed room and stayed for 4 nights.
1. Overall, I am very satisfied. There is free diffuse oxygen supply. Very friendly to friends who have just arrived in Lhasa.
2. There is a humidifier. The room booked is 50 square meters, equipped with sofa and coffee table. This is my favorite place, where I can rest and drink tea in my free time.
3. The hotel is located in Wanda. It is convenient to dine downstairs and there are delicious restaurants opposite the hotel. If you want something simpler, you can go downstairs to Wanda. Many choices
4. It is convenient to travel. In Lhasa, Didi will have a car within 1 to 3 minutes.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the Shangri-la after a week of being in Tibet. It was a nice change from the more Chinese style hotels we had stayed in and was ideal for the night before our flight out. The rooms are great and we booked one with a bath. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast buffet was, by Chinese standards, decent for western options and the evening buffer was good for approx 200rmb/person if you're in need of more western options.
The big plus for me was the gym. Decent by most hotel standards and had a good mix of resistance machines, cardio and free weights (mainly dumbbells of up to 20kg plus a pair of 27.5kg). The only thing missing from the gym really is a squat rack but otherwise very good. Would stay again.
Yyangdg8838A very good five-star hotel in Lhasa. I like to see the scenery. The front desk girl arranged a good view. The house in the distant mountains is very Tibetan. The room is very comfortable. There is oxygen dispersion. The rest is very good. The breakfast is also very good. There is also Tibetan noodles. That is, Qingyu beef noodles. And butter tea is very good, the location is very good, you can take a walk to Robrinka and the Tibet Museum. Good time.
BBaihulixianTraveling with my parents, we booked a room with a king bed and a twin bed, but they were not arranged on the first floor. The corridor on the twin bed floor always smelled of cigarettes. I hope to add non-smoking floor options.
The VIP building is a little inside the hotel entrance. The car has to be driven in specially, otherwise it is just walking in at the door.
The room facilities are quite satisfactory, the bedding is good, there are offering facilities, which are provided from night to morning, and the switch is convenient. The first day was provided until 7 o'clock, and the second day was gone at 6 o'clock. The official time is 6 o'clock. The dry and wet separated bathroom, that is, the bathroom has no door, which is actually a bit embarrassing sometimes.
The biggest problem is that the room is too hot... Because there is no cooling demand in summer, the air conditioner can only ventilate at most. The window can be opened but the wind cannot come in. The room facing south is still very hot until the evening. Thank you for the sun in Lhasa.
Fruits and snacks are provided at the door, which is life-saving. The tea provided is of good quality, and the breakfast is OK. It has what it should have. I especially praise the tsampa, but the waiter needs to make it now, and someone needs to ask. The room service is better than the front desk.
All in all, it's a state-owned hotel with no special services, but the overall price/performance ratio is good.
GGuest UserThis time it was a room facing the street, and there was a little car noise at night, which was acceptable. The bathroom is very clean and the mattress is very comfortable. It would be better if the bath towel and towel had a disposable packaging. Overall satisfaction.
JJeremy_ChiangStayed in Tibet for two nights, and felt that the high reaction was not too serious during the day. After closing the door at night, oxygen was scarcer, resulting in sleeplessness. Personal experience is for reference only: I think the best way to alleviate high anti-reverse is to inhale oxygen, oxygen will not produce dependence, after inhaling the body function to recover, in order to better adapt to high anti-reverse. I have been insomnia, and I have been insomnia. I booked an oxygen bottle from ** at the hotel at 3 o'clock the next night. I sent it in half an hour. I quickly fell asleep after sucking a bottle.
Tibet Hotel can think of the scale as the name is very grand, the old hotel, the VIP building is more expensive, clean and friendly. The hotel also has a bathtub, but it is estimated that few people can use it. If there is an oxygen-inhaling oxygen equipment, it will be perfect.
