Our 2-bedded room is huge. From the outside, the hotel isn't conspicuous, have to take a lift to the lobby. It is well located, plenty of eateries day and night and only a +/- 5 minute walk to the night markets - endless road after road of activities. Very vibrant and happening.

GreenTree Inn is a truly chain hotel. After comparing several nearby hotels, we finally chose this one. Although it's been open for a while, the facilities and amenities are complete, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, making you feel at ease. The front desk staff are very polite and friendly. Even though we didn't know how to adjust the TV, we called them in the middle of the night and they immediately arranged for someone to come and help us. The cleaning lady also greeted us politely upon seeing us. This comfortable hotel made our trip even more enjoyable. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Kunming next time.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Minzu University. Downstairs is Shilin Night Market, which is very lively but a bit noisy at night! I was arranged to have an inner window room away from the night market, which I was not particularly satisfied with. The window could not be opened too much, and it was too close to the next room. The sound insulation was poor, but it was a chain hotel with a low price, so it was okay.
