Hangting Hotel Hotels in Kunming

We love this hotel! It's close to the metro station (Wu Yi Road) and Nanping Pedestrian Street. The check in staff is nice and helpful. The room is big enough for two of us with two pieces of medium luggage. Breakfast is delicious and filling too. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was modern and affordable, but let down by several small issues. First of all the outside of the kettle was dirty, as though it had never been cleaned. I wiped it clean myself. Secondly, the window gives out into a tiny internal duct-type space, which was hardly pleasant and meant minimal natural light. Thirdly, the air conditioning turned itself off after a few hours, which wasn't convenient when sleeping. Fourthly, some of the buttons on the TV remote control didn't work. Fifthly, the layout of the room isn't sensible - the bedside lamps don't point in the direction of the bed and so are not useful for reading at night, and there is a useless armchair where a wardrobe or shelving would be better, since there is only a tiny space with a handful of hangers for clothes. Sixthly, the breakfast (though cheap) is limited in choice and very average in taste.

Pros - Full marks for the front desk service staff especially the male front desk employee. All of them are so helpful and courteous. WiFi is fast. Hot shower pressure is strong. Room is clean and there is no smoking stench. The luggage rack is very useful. You can trust Hanting standard. Cleaning staff are also courteous and accommodating to my requests. Cons - No towel hook in the bathroom to hang bath towels (please consider installing one). Difficult to find the hotel entrance at first (see my last picture for direction). Rooms facing the pedestrian street may get some noise from the morning business vendors (ask for rooms facing the other buildings if that bothers you).

The hotel facilities are very new and clean. The front desk has a very good attitude. They gave us a gift when we checked in. I had chrysanthemum tea. The hotel has a washing machine and dryer, which is very convenient. The room is also very spacious, the smart toilet, and the floor in the bathroom are particularly non-slip. The breakfast variety and taste are very good. I especially like the freshly ground soy milk, which is very thick. The taste is great 👍🏻, a small suggestion, the fried rice is too hard. In short, this is the most satisfactory hotel I have ever stayed in near the station. It is convenient to stay here even if you go to the city. It is always close to the subway and bus.

Next to the Kunming Gymnasium, an old building shares the lobby and elevator with another hotel 🛗, and there are also old residential buildings next to it. Hanting's bedding is clean and hygienic, and the mattress is moderately firm. A quiet environment is especially needed. When you check in, you are required to not rely on the elevator stairs and not face the street. Then the problem is: not facing the street, that is, relying on the residential building, the window is air-conditioned outside the window, but the Hanting air-conditioning outside the window is particularly old, but every room with air-conditioning, you can hear the continuous low-frequency roar, closed the window is also useless, If there are a few rooms that have air conditioning, the symphony and phoning can be even more wonderful! The hotel's service attitude is friendly and professional, and the service is no problem! Of course, the price of more than 200, the location is not bad, we can not say that it is both necessary and necessary, there is no problem with the small demand for quiet environment, the sensitive people with better hearing are carefully selected ～

This hotel was chosen for both landing in Kunming and returning. There is basically nothing wrong with it. The only drawback is that the room is a little small, but it is OK for 2 people.
