Nice and cool temperature. Must stay here to feel it. Took a shower and it was super.

Everything is great. Except no wifi. Conveniently located inside the Mt Kinabaru park. Can see Mt Kinabaru in clear early morning.

Restaurant food is great. Room temperature is fine around 18-22c Room weather is too wet Dehumidifier or AC is needed, but not provided. No room internet WiFi and lack of power plugs / USB plugs for mobile devices charges.

we book this hotel before we hike kinabalu mountain the very next day. the amenities is good.. got towels, iron and the room is quiet spacious.

A simple spacious room with shared bathrooms in a lodge, with a hotel nearby where you can eat (not cheap but very nice and with excellent views of Mt Kinabalu). Clean bathrooms with good hot water showers. Really worth it if you are doing the full summit hike. I wanted to explore the park around and would have been better off staying near Poring hot spring.

👍 Best location in the area because it is inside of the Kinabalu park. Variety of room types depending on who's traveling. The restaurant is super. Jungle immersion type of rooms. 👎 Coffee cups were dirty and only had 1 coffee bag, but the room is for 2 people. The heater broke down in the middle of the night. Room (Nepethen suite) had no view of the Mt. Kinabalu.

Check in was quick and easy. The lady that served me was feeling a bit run down with cold at the time but she still maintained her professionalism and served us with a smile and answered to every questions that we had. Kudos to the lady (I forgot to ask for her name). We stayed at Garden Lodge. We were a pax of 5 adults and 2 children under 3. They allowed for added mattress for RM 71 adult fare and half price for children. Upon reaching our lodge, it was really impressive standing tall and facing right straight to Mount Kinabalu. The views were really impressive all throughout the day. The rooms were exactly like the pictures - so pretty! All the decorations details were impressive. Facilities were top notch. They provided water heater for in case it gets cold at night. Shower was good with pressure. Bedsheets and bath towels were clean and smelled fresh. They even provided chess board game and jenga. Complimentary coffee and tea available. They even had filtered water if you ran out of bottled water! Overall, the stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was good with many selections from memory - cakes and pastries, toast and croissants, nasi lemak with beef rendang, fried chicken and sambal sotong, noodle station, eggs station, fruits and cereals available. There’s a coffee and tea machine. Juices available too. We took a stroll to Kinabalu botanical garden after breakfast. Really pleasant. We will definitely be coming back again.
