Hotel Carna A Reviews

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the station, but it's conveniently located close to the downtown area. I was on the bottom bunk bed, and it took some getting used to as I kept bumping my head. It was great to have enough space to stand and change clothes on the outside of the bunk. The large bath and sauna were a plus, and the water pressure was excellent. They also provided amenities like towels and toothbrushes, and even pajamas, so you could stay here with minimal luggage.

Located right beside the shopping street, this hotel is near Kumamoto Castle, Kumamon Square and the Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. There is a convenience store right beside, and food can be easily found within walking distance at the shopping street. The hotel looks old, but it's clean and good enough for a few nights stay. Do note that the locker room is on the first floor and the locker can't fit most luggages, so you have to keep your luggage at the reception.

Nearby Ramen shop and 7-11, few mins to tram station and very good location and easy to get there by walking to the very famous street in kumamoto!! It is the second time to live here!!! Enjoyed the hot bath this time!!

Great place, very convenient. The only downside is they make you check out each day. Not a big deal but it was a minor irritation.

Comfortable and pleasant stay. Sleeping pods are very comfortable and spacious. Though there are some issues in the booking but the front desk lady sorted that out quickly. Very helpful.

I think it was the biggest disappointment so far. The hotel is fine if you stay for one night. But more — I doubt it. For example, it is mandatory to leave at 10:00 even if you stay for more than one night. You can pay 1500 yen, but it literally gives you nothing. You can’t use sauna and sento. You received no additional service or amenities. Even sleeping is hard — the staff changes sheets. Next, people actually live in this capsule hotel. It means they get up very early, loud, alarm clocks, etc. Finally, the locker room is super tiny. There is little space. No benches. Definitely will not stay again. Good sides — the staff is polite, and you can store your luggage at the counter. Actually, you must, but people still carry their luggage upstairs.

It was very safe and clean. Plus it has a public vapor pool and sauna. Just be careful with the check out, you must check out every day at 10am other than that it was perfect.

Although it's far from Kumamoto Station, it's conveniently located within walking distance of the nearest tram station. ❗️ The private room was surprisingly spacious, and I was able to store my luggage there. It looks like I could easily bring a medium-sized carry-on suitcase into the room. The bathroom was clean and easy to use. ❗️There was a large public bath and a small sauna, so I was able to relax. 😌 There was a women-only floor, so I was able to relax there. I recommend this hotel for those who just want a place to sleep at a reasonable price.👍 ̖́-

The location is good, but the facilities are old, the rooms are poorly ventilated, and the cleanliness is just average. Aside from being cheap, I wouldn't highly recommend it.

We have to pack up and vacate the bed at 10 o'clock every day, and we can check in again at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. It is very troublesome. I don't know what they are thinking. I don't recommend staying here at all! ! ! !
