Kuching Hotels with Gym

The hotel location is considered the best among other big brand hotels like Hilton and Sheraton, the hotel is right beside the waterfront and carpenter's street, however the are tends to be jammed during weekend and at night. The interior of the hotel is also a bit dated and without maintenance, however, the service is impeccable. Will consider staying again for future trips.

Massive renovation. Stay here if you looking for location and attractive hotel rate. Early check in possible if available. Late check out up to 6pm is MYR150. Reception. on 21st floor. Breakfast on 22nd floor. Amenities nothing much. Room was spacious. Showering water pressure very hard. Breakfast spread was varied and tasty. Location was within walking distance to attractions.

It was a good hotel, cold lobby, ballroom are big and spaces restaurants but the location is a bit out of the city. Having the shopping mall connected is very convenient and the shops nearby caters to one's basic needs without having to go too far.

Check-in was grand; reception was friendly and efficient. The room and kitchen was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We have all toiletries provided with extra towels & pillows. The master bedroom has a clean bath-tub. Toilets are clean; they don't smell like Merdeka Palace; that's the most important thing. But we were very disappointed with the breakfast: lack of variety, not enough seats; we have to wait for our turn to eat. Also not a proper place to eat. I would come again but will not take the breakfast package.

Love it! 5th time back at this hotel. Initially booked sheration but cancelled as still decided to go back to Hilton. Thanks for the superb service as always! 😊

Overall experience was good. The family enjoyed the stay. But there's room for improvement.. We were given a room facing the back yard of the building even though we booked a room facing the pool. I did ask for change but was told all rooms were already occupied, even though we were amongst the earliest to check in and many others came later after us but given room facing the pool.

Stayed at a hotel just opposite the famous Cat Statue in Kuching, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is definitely the highlight – everything is within walking distance, and there’s even a sampan service right behind the hotel, which made it really convenient to explore the area. The room itself was okay. The aircond worked well – maybe a bit too well since it was freezing cold at times. The bed was on the harder side, not exactly my preference. The bathroom looked a bit dated, with a bathtub included, but honestly, I would’ve preferred a separate shower and tub. However, one thing that could be improved is the bathrobe – it was way too thin. Breakfast was okay, especially since they served local favorites like Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee. In short, great location, decent breakfast, but the room comfort could be better. Perfect for a short stay if you want easy access to tourist spots.

Grand Medallion hotel offers a luxurious feel at a budget price. The room was stylish, with high-end amenities, but without the high-end cost. The service was good, and the location was perfect for sightseeing. Great for travelers who want comfort on a budget.

I appreciated the facilities provided, as they were well-maintained and comfortable. However, I was disappointed with the level of customer service. The staff were not as friendly or understanding as I had hoped. After a long journey driving from afar, I was unable to respond to their WhatsApp messages promptly. While I acknowledge this was my oversight, the way the situation was addressed felt unnecessarily harsh. A more considerate and empathetic approach would have made a significant difference. I hope the management can foster better understanding and kindness towards their guests in the future.
