Not recommended, room and facility is outdated/need major renovation, water is smelly, lack of common courtesy to non-white travellers and location is too far from walking street. Dont waste your time here, price of the room is expensive and not equivalent to the service/facilty provided.

Average value for money, sunrise beach, breakfast is generally small, the boss is very enthusiastic, the pedestrian street is convenient, but the hotel facilities are old and there are many mosquitoes

A quiet pleasant place, no music, the sound of the sea, birds, wonderful. Time of visit - the end of November, a very strong east wind, the sea was rough, a lot of fish, interesting snorkeling, helpful staff, there is a transfer to Walking Street, you can also walk. In the evening there was a tide, you can no longer walk along the shore. The breakfast is very poor, the furniture is old, the bed linen was good, clean. Peace and quiet are the main plus of this place.

The staff is nice and helpful, the hotel is of course a bit old, and the breakfast is very simple. But the place is great, its own beach, they provide kayaks and masks.

The room is really bad, there are too many mosquitoes, and the room facilities are old. I don't recommend staying here. It's called a resort, but it's actually privately run. This is the worst accommodation experience I've had in Koh Lipe. I'm very disappointed. I suggest you don't consider this guest house.

Advantages: Very close to the beach, sharing the beach with October, and there is a small island opposite that you can swim to or row by boat, more entertainment activities to kill time! , You can snorkel next to the island. You can rent kayaks, sand digging toys, life jackets and other equipment for free... Disadvantages: There are few types of breakfast, the hotel facade is very beautiful and the layers are relatively new, but the hardware facilities inside are worrying. The family room with two beds is priced at 700 yuan. Apart from the geographical advantage of the beach, the cost performance is not high! You must take a shuttle offered free of charge by the hotel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. only. Random departure times and return not guaranteed...so I had to take a tuk tuk (50bath) each time Ideal for those who want to isolate themselves from the walking street... - Reception: no one came to pick me up at the port of Koh Lipe even though the service was included in the price... The owners (Thai and German couple) very cold and haughty... I asked for information on the way to take to reach the hotel and the good woman looked at me pretending not to understand and answered me curtly access via the beach... this attitude is not the image of Thai hospitality so very disappointed ! The only person to have communicated is the young girl who works with the owner (thanks to her) - Hygiene: a cockroach was found in my bathroom on the last evening of the stay and a foul smell coming from the toilets The sheets smell clean but are in poor condition (coffee stain and torn)

The decoration is old, the water has a strange smell, there are no restaurants or bars available at any time, the room layout is average, and there are a lot of mosquitoes. I stayed here because I couldn't book a room. The service at Ten Moons next door is very good, the decoration is good, and the beach is great. I forgot that it was only 400 yuan away. For a simple 1100 yuan, I would choose something else.

Hotel location is good, other general

Bathroom terrible- old and smelly Breakfast terrible- fine you have no money and your rooms are worn out, at least try and make up for it by offering a decent breakfast. Beach AMAZING- probably the best on the island, but it can be used by anybody it is not private. Room old and out dated- only 1 bed on the balcony, only 1 bedside light (and that was a disgrace) General maintenance and cleanliness awful - general sewage smell. We paid £140 a night for a room, never again. The staff were nice and tried hard

For the price we paid, certainly the quality did not match the facilities and experience that we get. REALLY REALLY THE WORST STAY I EVER HAD. Location is very bad, tuktuk did not even send you to the reception because it's downhill and VERY VERY STEEP. You have to HIKE if you want to reach your tuktuk especially if your room type if so-called BEACH FRONT ROOM. For the room itself, we did not get proper pillow like normal one. We got like sofa pillow that is one third of normal sized pillow. and also not forget to mention, the bedsheet is torn....for the nightly price of around 12,000THB..i would at least expect DECENT stay. but my stay at a motel of 500thb is veryyyy far much better than this. Honestly, this resort made my trip to Koh Lipe as a nightmare, I felt very traumatic to come to Koh Lipe just because of this resort. I didnt even enjoy the beach because I was very frustrated with the overpriced stay with very very bad service and quality of room. I really really hope they can improve the housekeeping and maintenance of the room.

This hotel is to avoid !! We paid more than S$200 per night for a rotten room !! When we arrived the bed sheets was dirty, the toilets was dirty too. In the bathroom the miror the sink was also dirty and all the shower head system rusty !! First day, despite the condition we asked nicely to them to change the bed sheets and clean the toilet. They did it. Then we realised that the safety box had a problem. A rude German guy came into the picture ( the lady boss husband apparently) and explained us that the first row of number don't work. He clearly showed that he wasn't happy with our requirements but how we could know ?! Second day my husband take the room chair to the balcony since only 1 long chair was there . He Is very skinny and he is 57 kg only. He was talking on the phone and the chair broke! He almost got badly injured and got a big bruise on his arm. Not even one time the boss or the manager apologize towards us ! Why? Because it was New Year and the whole island was fully booked ! We tried to be honest to run away from this place but we couldn't ! I don't understand this kind of mentality, we could have been really angry but we never ! After that every day the German guy said hello to everyone excepted us ! Was it too much to request a clean room ? I really don't understand the nice comments below, maybe they was lucky because so far most of the customers complained about this hotel during our stay...

Just Facts about Kathalee Kho Lipe from hospitality expert. Most people write about their holiday feel not actual hotel facts which you pay for.. Location good on the beach, windy side of island. Very nice restaurant next door @ ten moons resort. Breakfast same menu everyday but not bad , good variety of fruit, and good pancake (bread is the worst) Bathroom the worst condition, old, dirty and no air vent neither room or bathroom ( warning: don't take a sh*t), water for sink and shower it stinks like sewage same smell outside of your room... can't wash anything as it smelled worse after washing... Beds must be over 20years old with worst condition of mattress I have slept, spring going in to your body, and I am slim, low weight... Mosquito big problem due to sewage... Overall very dirty island Kho Lipe... Sadly, we pay Europe hotel price per night and you get very very poor quality accomodation...180$ per night is not cheap... warning, rooms sold as sea view when they are not....crooked people....sadly these people don't think on renovation and that is not hospitality but greed...( resort quality, that's what we pay for, not fake smiles)
