"The room was lovely, cozy, and clean, especially the bedding and towels.
Due to some issues with our Air B&B reservation, we booked late and arrived even later. We arrived at the front desk around midnight and were told we'd have to wait 1.5 hours. We were devastated. Thinking about switching hotels, we asked if we could check out the room first. Upon arrival, we were told it wasn't available. Another Chinese woman had mentioned a smell in the room, but it was a stale smell, mainly from the worn carpet, which disappeared after opening the window. We also saw a diligent Slavic woman cleaning the room, and thought to ourselves, how hard they work.
We began waiting for our room and noticed that some airline crew members were checking out. Our room was ready in about 30 minutes.
It was strange that the room wasn't ready until the wee hours of the night, especially after a long day of flying with underage children. It was a real struggle. But considering all the hotels in the city in a similar price range were fully booked, it was still acceptable."
