"1. Pros - Inexpensive for the size of the room - Quiet due to no nearby shops - Distant ocean view (due to the elevated location) - If there's a problem with the room and you request a replacement, they'll offer a free upgrade if no other room is available. - The room is cleaner than it looks - Heating and cooling are good - Simple cooking is possible (induction stove, sink included) - Good soundproofing - Strong water pressure - Quick response to complaints - Less bugs than expected 2. Cons - No outlet by the bedside (there's one under the indirect light, out of sight, but it's used for both the indirect light and the lighting) - No places to eat nearby - Abandoned building nearby - No over-the-top (OTT) service (only cable TV) - The floor was not cleaned after the bathroom was cleaned, so the edges of the tiles turned white (personal opinion) - The room smelled moldy (they instructed you to turn on the boiler at check-in - turning it on significantly reduces the smell. If you request it, they'll spray an air freshener like Febreze. The bathroom was still slightly damp the next morning. (It smells.) - There's no light button on the remote control (you have to turn on the nightstand light separately. Other lights have buttons on the bedside table.) 3. Overall Review I stayed in a deluxe room in Building B. The room was the same size as in the photo. Aside from the moldy smell, I was generally satisfied. If you're staying alone, it can be a bit boring, so I recommend bringing something to do. I didn't realize it during the day, but when I went to have breakfast in the morning, the parking lot was almost full. Breakfast is rented, so it's so-so unless you're a picky eater."

"Room is spacious and we got the sea view which is pretty if the sky is clear. The staff is helpful and basic breakfast was provided (bacon,egg and fluffy toast), coffee and tea. For the price, which is value money, we did not expect breakfast buffet spread, so it was good enough for us. Location wise it's pretty near the town,market and cheongjeyeon waterfall."

"Great location! Short walk to Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market and there are good restaurants nearby. Location is good for sightseeing towards the east and bottom south area. Parking is free at the adjacent Shin Shin ocean hotel. We booked twin room and family room with ocean view. Room is relatively clean and views of the ocean is lovely. The pillow as many have commented is very thin and the beds are rather hard and not very comfortable. The toilet is clean, but when you bath the water will leak out of the bath and wet the entire bathroom, so we had to use a towel to block the water from leaking out. Perhaps hotel might wanna do something about that."

"They were kind and nice. It was remodeled and clean, and the room layout was very comfortable and nice. 2 rooms, main room with king bed + sofa + dressing table closet 2 single beds in the small room Living room with large TV sofa Simple kitchen. Nesso machine. The best part was The kitchen + bathroom on one side and the night side was the room, So it was quiet because there was no sound of water being used at night. This is a place I want to come back to again."

"We stayed here because my husband and his friend were doing the transjeju race. The hotel is in a wonderful location to see Haenyeo (famous female divers). It’s also quite peaceful and relaxed. The rooms are really spacious and had a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had a nice shower. We didn’t eat the food or use the pool so I can’t speak to either of those amenities. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Jeju."

"The hotel location, facilities, and outdoor landscaping are fantastic. The breakfast buffet was high quality (with a high price to match); The rooms are comfortable though nothing to rave about. Two areas for improvement: 1. The hotel service is not catered towards foreigners; The front desk and kids island staff, as well as information pamphlet are limited mainly to Korea. The check in counter knew I had two young children with me, but did not mention that we had to pre-book / reserve activities with the kids island. By the time I found out, everything was full and my children could not participate in anything. 2. The hotel pool has a safety policy where children under 1.3M need an adult to accompany them, and if under 1.2M need to wear a life vest. This doesn't make sense for parents (to accompany them) or children who can already swim."

"A few things to update from the most recent review: the 7-11 next door is gone/being renovated; you cannot cook inside of your room even though it has a burner, etc. and not all rooms have a washing machine (photos a bit misleading). However, there is a laundry machine available for use, you just need your own detergent. Very friendly and helpful staff. The cook-your-own breakfast was a great deal for us as a family. The roof top is amazing, 360 views of the sea and mountains, truly stunning."

"This is my second visit. It is far from the city center such as the market, but it is in front of the sea so the view is very good. The room condition is not bad either. It is recommended for the price."

"Donnae-ko Amusement Park is nearby, so it's great for exploring the sights around Seogwipo. There's a kitchen, so you can cook simple meals like breakfast, which is nice, and most of all, the room is clean."

"The cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in. Very comfortable. All facilities are complete. Breakfast is provided, with milk. Recommended to everyone. Located in the center of Seogwipo City, it is convenient for travel and easy access by bus. It is very close to Olai Market and can be reached on foot. The aunt at the front desk can speak Chinese and communication is smooth. The aunt is helpful, warm and caring."
