Prime Location, Steps Away · Bell and Drum Tower (Xinggong Tower) – a 5‑minute walk; you can see this landmark right from your window. · Xianfeng Academy (Chongzheng Academy) – a 10‑minute walk; a restored Ming‑dynasty gem known as one of the most beautiful academies in the area. · Food Street – right at your doorstep, offering an endless array of Weishan’s famous snacks. · Gongchen Gate and Nanzhao Museum – both within easy walking distance. Simple, Peaceful, and Homey Pusu is a “little house” in the best sense – no over‑designed frills, just clean, tidy rooms, reliable hot water, and all the essentials you need. True to its name (Pusu means “simple and plain”), it offers a quiet sanctuary for anyone weary of city noise, where you can feel at ease in the old town. Step Out for Authentic Weishan Flavours With the Food Street just behind us, you’ll find local favourites everywhere: steamed bean‑rice cakes, pea‑starch jelly, lamb rice noodles, and the famous Su Laosan’s Yigu noodles. You could eat something different from morning till night – staying at Pusu means immersing yourself in the richest local food culture. Live the Nanzhao Story Wake up to birdsong, spend your day exploring tie‑dye workshops and Jiama woodblock‑print experiences, then unwind with a coffee and a book at the academy in the evening. At Pusu, you’re not a tourist – you’re a temporary resident of the ancient town’s everyday life.

"I stayed in Lushan for four days and moved to this store halfway (the new courtyard of the store I lived in before, but the pine smell was too heavy, the air in the room was not good, and the neighbors also built a house with noise) It is very close to the Pioneer Bookstore, nearby is the Temple of Confucianism, Mengyang Park, and the nearby Minglou restaurant is also delicious. There is also the favorite soldier roasted meat rice noodles. The room is very comfortable. Although it is a new store, there is no smell. The ventilation is good. There is a smart toilet I am used to. The latex pillow is suitable for height. The bed is moderately soft and hard. My cervical and lumbar disc can also be swelled. Xiaodu Assistant IQ is online, you can set up the curtains to open the curtains in the morning to wake up naturally. I couldn't sleep at night on the last night of leaving Lushan. I also chatted with Xiaodu about the history of Lubaoshan, hahaha. What's great is that the two young ladies at the front desk are very friendly and welcoming! One day I asked if there was a microwave oven for hot packaged meals. There was no microwave in the store, but they took the initiative to use the staff's steamer to help me heat the food. It was really sweet! I went to climb Libao Mountain on a rainy day alone, and I paid special attention to whether I arrived smoothly. I love Lushan and the kind people here 🥰"
