"It is my niece and I's first visit to China and we were looking for a room that is situated near Fuzhou International Airport (FOC). We were in Fujian to another niece who is studying at the local University. Thanks to Trip.com, we found Liwan Hotel and we were given a lovely suite with 2 double beds and 2 bathrooms with showers, I was stunned by the beautiful decor and furnishings of the hotel. We booked for 3 nights and the We Chat app was very helpful in translation as neither of us spoke Chinese. Meals was not provided but there was a number of recommendations, we had delicious authentic Chinese breakfast prepared by the lady right opposite the hotel. We went into the city for lunch and dinner and would order online if we want something different. Shuttle to the airport is provided and we really appreciate the care and attention of the hotel proprietorship. I would stay at Liwan again and would highly recommend it to future visitors. It is very affordable, clean, accessible from the airport and main roads."

There was a subway station downstairs, and there was a milk tea shop a few steps away. When I checked out, the front desk stuffed me two bags of scented tea and said I would drink it on the way.
