The hotel appeared exactly as described. No major surprises. Contactless check-in process so ensure that you have filled out the information of all the visitors beforehand via the link procidws. They will verify each guest individually when you physically check-in. English speaking customer service is available. Do note that there is no separate dryer. Washing machine comes with a drying function but does not dry the clothes completely. Major attractions are a walking distance away. Paid parking available away from accommodation. Costs 300 to 400yen for overnight parking. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

We were traveling to Kyushu by car and booked this hotel in Mojiko through Trip.com. The phone number on the hotel confirmation from Trip.com was a mistaken reference to another branch of the hotel. When we entered this phone number into the GPS navigation in the car, we were led to the wrong address of another hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no real receptionist. The check-in was all electronic. We were asked to enter a 6-digit check-in password on the electronic tablet, but I never received the password email as the hotel said, so I couldn't go through the check-in process. I used the intercom outside the door to contact the hotel staff, but no one answered the intercom after pressing it several times. I had no choice but to call the number on the intercom, hoping that the hotel could provide assistance.
