Sleep All Over the World Grand Rapids Anway Grand Plaza, Curio Collection by Hilton The Amway Hotel, a Hilton Collection in Grand Rapids, consists of two parts, old and new The old building part of the hotel, originally the Pantlind Hotel, opened in 1913 during the prosperous period of Grand Rapids, and was rated as one of the top ten hotels in the United States for many times in the first half of the twentieth century. The Pantlind Hotel is a Beaux-Art architectural style, which was a popular architectural style in France from the 1830s to the end of the 19th century. The hotel had the largest gilded ceiling in the world at that time, and a huge crystal chandelier and other luxurious decorations. In 1979, the Amway Group purchased the Pantlind Hotel, renovated it, and reopened on September 15, 1981. The Ford couple Ye, who lived in Grand Rapids, attended the opening ceremony. The 29-story glass building on the riverside side of the old hotel was completed in 1983, which is also part of the new building today Although Grand Rapids is a relatively silent city in the United States today, its past painting glory still radiates light

This hotel was a surprising all-around winner. I had interactions with three staff, and all of them were cheerful, friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was clean and well-supplied, the breakfast was ample, and the property is located near several good eating options. On the first floor, there is a family-friendly play area with two foosball tables and several tables scattered around for groups to hang out and play games. Helpfully, TRU provides a selection of board games and puzzles for groups to enjoy. Additionally, there is a fire-pit on site if people want to enjoy some time around a campfire outside. All in all, this hotel is a winner!
Home2 Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids Airport

We stayed at Home2Suites for work as it was the most centrally located hotel for our project. The check-in process was fast and the front desk person was very friendly. The room is a standard Home2Suites room, as it has a large counter area with a basic bed setup. Not my favorite bed in the world, but it will do for work. The carpet was clean of any stains, and the furniture showed no signs of wear. The bathroom was clean and had a full stand-up shower. I didn't see any signs of mold, and the floor of the shower was clean as well. We didn't use any of the amenities, such as food or the fitness center, but they looked fine.
Rodeway Inn

Booked in advance direct through Choice Hotels and thought I was getting the “Member Rate”. Arrived to hear the reception desk quoting prices for the same night as $60+ less than we paid. When we asked if we could be discounted she became very defensive. Hotel was very clean and very nice, but be advised, it is not correctly advertised! There is NO in hotel restaurant. When questioned, the manager (who was very defensive and not kind) stated the Bar & Grill across the parking lot was their restaurant. It is not open for breakfast. He became quite offended that I would want a restaurant breakfast when they offer cold cereal and toast for breakfast. In the end the manager and I agreed to a full refund and we went elsewhere for the night. As we were leaving they rented our room out to a couple for more than $60 less than we paid… Also, they have a fabulous pool that IS open, but they don’t tell you that they only allow one family at a time, you have to reserve your one hour time spot and by the time we checked in all spots were taken except for the 9pm spot.
Hyatt Place Grand Rapids Downtown

This is beautiful Hotel located on beautiful location. Rooms are beautiful and walkable from the River, On the opposite street is a Grand Rapids one of the oldest building and it’s beautiful. There was a little miscommunication during our check-in. We were told that breakfast timing is from 7-10am but when we reached for breakfast at 9:10, they were already closing and cleaning restaurant. There were around 5-7 families who came after 9 for breakfast. But restaurant gave bread, fruits, butter, Jams, Coffee so we had breakfast. Other than everything was perfect.
