Semi auto check-in/out. Great location. Fabulous interior! Clean, adequate amenities and air conditioning is good too! Take note, some rooms doesn't have windows. Some great eateries within walking distance.

frontdesk counter is clean and with nice and friendly staff. the security system is nice but can hewr clearly with the other rooms noise. very nice exp. overall😊🙏 thank you

The room exceeds all my expectations. It’s big, clean and the location is very convenient. The staff were also very approachable and provided food and sightseeing recommendations to us.

Nice hotel for a short stay with minimal luggage. Close to the station, friendly staff. The layout of room was a little odd with the sink right next to the bed.

The location is at a good spot near the metro. The staff is very helpful and they were ready to help me in every case. Please note if you are claustrophobic then please don't book a room without a window.

This hotel was excellent for a solo traveller. I can foresee some inconvenience if it was a couple or 2 friends staying here as there the bathroom is pretty much an open concept. i.e. would need to get changed inside the shower booth before coming out etc, and no proper door except a semi-opaque glass door. Having said, I was by myself for my stay so it was perfect room for me. Bed is comfy, place was clean. They have this machine check-in system which works fine, but I was a bit taken aback initially as I had to scan qr code, get internet and do things myself while just having reached the place with luggage etc. Not a biggie but would have been nice if the staff could check me in or offered a bit more help since there wasn't any other guests there either. I didn't use any other facilities but during the day the lobby operates as a cafe, and there is a laundry room in B1. Location is convenient and near Kaohsiung train station, the station is currently going through a big construction so if I had known, I probably would have chosen to stay somewhere near Formosa Boulevard instead given it has 2 MRT lines. But hotel-wise, it is near the station and have convenience stores/fast food options in walking distance.

Very comfortable, convenient and spacious rooms.

Hotel was conveniently located, which is less than 5 minutes walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. There were quite a number of fast food outlets and convenience stores nearby. Houyi Shopping District is just behind the hotel. For check-in, we had to use the automated self check-in kiosk but it was pretty easy to navigate and the staff at the reception was ready to help too. Nice and friendly staff at the reception, which was 24/7. The room for 4 pax was clean and spacious enough to put 3 big and 1 small luggages. Highly recommend Papo’a Hotel and will definitely come back if I visit Kaohsiung again!

Quite disappointed about the stay, based on the reviews to book the hotel but it looks so old and room was small, facilities not up to a hotel standard even paid so much for the stay . Will not recommend to friend .
