Hotel is walking distance from Shiroyama park where you can do a hike to have an elevated view of the Kagoshima city beneath it. it is also close to Tennmonkan that has wide food choices and shopping. The toiletries are available at the lobby for free use. Coin operated laundry is available but almost always occupied.

A very good memories staying in Richmond hotel Kinseicho, the staffs are very friendly, and it is convenient that there are laundry serivce(washing machine at the hotel) and free ice cube to take at 9th floor. The room was big though for one person staying. The environment was clean and quiet, I hope next time can bring my family here to stay. For the location, temonkan is nearby and easy to walk around Kagoshima city, I walked from hotel to Kagoshima Chuo Station, very convenient

There are two Richmond hotels in Kagoshima City. I think both are wonderful. The hotel and the rooms are clean, as well as the large bathtubs. There is a parking lot adjacent to the hotel where you can park for 1,000 yen per night. If this is full, there is an affiliated parking lot within a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel.

The hotel is close to the Asahi-dori tram station, which is very convenient for going to the planetarium and Chuo Station. The room I stayed in had a view of Sakurajima, and parking was only 600 yen a night, which was quite cheap.

The location is average. If I live here again, I will choose the one near the planetarium. The airport bus can go directly to the planetarium, but the Asahi-dori stop has been cancelled, so Kinsei-cho is not that convenient.
