the hotel room was small and the aircon was not strong, it was very hot at night although we put it at the lowest temp. but the breakfast had salmon although a lil cold, was nice

This is my first time staying in this hotel not bad. But only the sink have problem of sucking the water and the shower cap water when turn on the water will spread everywhere is hard for me to shower.And also asking for late check up totally cannot 30min late also cannot. I stay so many hotel this is the only hotel don't allow for a late check up. All is on the dot.

Opero was super festively decorated for the season with welcome drink given (see pics). Closely located to midvalley south key (5mins walking distance, they also provide a free shuttle bus service on the hour from 12-8pm). Be sure to book early as the bus can only seat ~15 and you’ll be deferred to the next ride if full. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel provided the usual amenities (bedroom slippers/ toothbrush etc). Liked that there was an iron and hair dryer but the dryer was attached in the toilet (not portable)!! However, complaints about the toilet as there's only a rain shower and no shower head. Also, even when at max volume and heat, water was not strong/hot enough and the shower curtain was very clearly rusty!! 😭 (refer pic). The rust doesnt come out with the water on but the dirt from the shower curtain peels off as you are showering which was gross. Further, the toilet seat was dirty with stains.

Great location as its near midvalley southkey. Shuttle van provided every 1hr to the mall. Room was neat and cosy. The welcome drink taste great 👍.

Decent hotel with bed of good firmness. Greeted well from the door to check in. Great to be welcomed with welcome drink. Standing shower is weak and water splashing out everywhere without a door, hence toilet was wet after showering.

Service is great. Facilities can be better. Should have extra toilet roll if possible, seems like not enough to use when book the room.

Gym was small but efficient with treadmill, weights, and cross fit. had to get towel fr the pool though which was 5min walk away. Breakfast was good surprise, with local spread (porridge, nasi lemak coconut rice with different entries), western (eggs, ham, breads), self cooking (noodles, hotpot ingredients) along w fresh juice (orange juice, pear juice). Opero is 5min walk to South Key a mega mall that has everything you need. If you dun want to walk, which can be very sunny a walk, hotel offers free hourly complimentary shuttle. One of the pillows had a stain and the bathroom floods a little after shower. Feedback: have an additional shower head instead of the rain shower which caused the water to spray more outwards. Compliment drinks was nice and sweet. New year fireworks by hotel on 5th floor near swimming pool was awesome.

Superb location, with mins walk to Southkey mall.
Variety of food for Breakfast is great as well.
There was some things in the toilet that were disappointing. First, the water flow from the rain shower was slow and small. Second, the blind in the shower area traps water and become mouldy, causing mouldy smell. Third, the shower drainage seems choked, causing flooding if tap is on for long: Lastly, there was no shower head though it’s no fault of the hotel.
However, the housekeeping team came very quickly to resolve the issues (cleaning the shower head and choky drain), whenever I raised the issue. I also heard that the hotel is changing the magnetic door stopper next month. Currently, I need to hold the main door physically to keep it open.
Overall, I felt that the location is superb, breakfast spray is great, ambience of the hotel is good (nice hotel fragrance), and good security (I see security guards patrolling hotel area quite frequently), and the customer service is responsive and professional.
Hotel should have proactive maintenance of the room and periodic checks before the rooms get too uncomfortable for guests.

A new hotel with basic amenities and I felt that the room space is small for families. There's no direct walkway to mid valley mall, although it's still doable to walk through roads to the mall. Cheaper alternative to St Giles hotel, but expect to receive the basic for a stay.

Stayed during end of Dec 24. Luxurious hotel lobby & nicely decorated room. Do opt for room facing Southkey & pool. However we had to queue for 1hr+ to check-in as only 2 counters were opened despite the crowd at 3pm. Our room was also missing its shower foam. There was a pungent smell in the evening coming from the aircon ventilation in both our rooms when we returned from shopping.

Enjoyed the short stay there. Checked in late on 29 Dec due bad traffic and was unable to get a late check out on 30 Dec which was kinda of disappointed. The breakfast buffet spread was awesome.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Opero.
The service from doorman, security, and reception had been great!
Ambience of the hotel is nice!
Room is very spacious, comfortable and clean. Bathroom is clean as well.
Though we saw an almost dead huge cockroach when we returned to the room. Killed it with wet tissues.
Location is also about 10 mins walk to Mid Valley.
Other than the cockroach encounter, all is great!
