What a great place! Laurence was really kind! We felt so welcome here. We had dinner with his friends and family throughout our stay with him. We also got an upgrade to a really big room for free! Recommended stay. 🙏🏻

The hotel is located right next to the old town. The hotel is an old traditional house, which makes our experience unique. The host speaks English , and was very kind and helped us whenever they can. The room was clean and tidy.

Beautiful old house with a nice courtyard, clean and spacious room. The people at the reception were extremely helpful. English spoken.

Lovely stay in Jianshui, the host was warm and welcoming, nice room, facility shows beautiful architecture in classical style and is super convenient to the city center, just a few minutes walk

Impossible to find a better place in Jianshui. The rooms are located inside a historic stone and wood building that has been renovated respecting the culture of the place, creating very large rooms, in style, equipped with all possible technological comforts. The owner, Lawrence, speaks perfect English (a very rare thing to find in Jiuanshui), is a highly cultured person and can help you solve any type of problem as well as accompanying you on visits to the surroundings, making you enter the heart of Yunnan. It is the best place I have stayed in Yunnan, without a doubt. In this place I left my heart, respect and affection for Lawrence and all the staff.

Very nice inn close to the main gate and the old town. Room was clean with a good mattress. Staff is nice and can speak English. Breakfast is only served around 8:30-9:00, which is quite late...

Ancient design which makes for an interesting stay. Near the shopping street and eateries. Simple breakfast provided. Run by a family and very friendly.

A beautiful courtyard home away from home. Super hospitality by one of the most friendly and welcoming families we’ve met during our travels. Offered countless cups of tea and super helpful in helping us make plans and bookings for our onward journey.

Very positive experience in this suggestive oasis of peace a stone's throw from the ancient city of Jianshui.  The staff was extremely kind and it is possible to speak English without any problem.  The spacious room is equipped with every comfort.  Very good breakfast!  Thank you!
