Great location but not a great place to stay. After climbing up to where the hotel is located (two blocks away from the Galata tower), and telling the person at the front desk (owner?) that we were not in the mood for tour shopping, he insisted to go through a bunch of excursions and gave us a 10 Euro discount on everything./ The room smelled of wet clothes that where not dried properly, and we had to go downstairs to ask for new towels on the third day as the room service stopped working after the first night.

Good.

The air conditioner doesn't work well, the room is very stuffy, the shower is broken

Best hotel with very reliable staff. Gladly again.

Приятный отель в самом центре, есть балкончики с видом на оживленную улицу, отзывчивый персонал. Нет лифта, только лестница, но меня это не смущало, я за спорт :)

UN ROBO, FATAL, CARÍSIMO, nos hemos sentado en el la cafetería, nos han servido las cervezas en tarro de barro, por lo cual, no sabemos sí la cerveza eran de barril ó de botella, nos han cobrado 10€, por cada una, el Té 2 €. Ni en el Hilton de Paris, hemos pagado tan caro, una cerveza No volveremos.

Hotel in a very good location. You go down in the streets and you have everything you need, bar cafè restaurants and by night its very quiet you don't hear the noise of the streets. The staff is ready to solve all the requests and they like to keep a good relation with clients. The room are well equipped, clean and the price ratio is excellent. Thank you.

Very nice and helpful staff. They gave advices and helped me organizing things. The room was simple but offered all I needed. The hotel is located in a crowded little street in the center, just minutes walk from the famous places of interest.

We booked the room with balcony. Beautiful area as it is just right next to the galata tower. You can have a breakfast outside the balcony and a small drink in the evening. Nice view and nice staffs. This hotel is near to everything. Good restaurants, near the Istiklal street and umbrella street. It’s all walking distance.

Stayed for 9 nights at this hotel its a real disappointment Toilet and shower isnot isolated but by a framed plastic panel of 180 cm height. Very small rooms No proper chairs Throughout my stay no no cleaned ( hoovered) the room. Linings and pillow covers smell tobacco, probably not washed fir weeks My room air conditioner was faulty leaking water from it , in spite of telling management daily about it no solution offered other than drying the floor with towel. Really bad experience it will stay with me for years to come.

Very nice stay! Location is on the street to galata tower. Very clean and nice room. The bazar on the bosporos part is close. We walked to there. Nice emplyees and very helpfull. The owner recommended nice hotspots in Istanbul. The owner helped us with getting a taxi back to the airport. Very nice staff. We felt really welcome. I would recommend this and also come back to galata design hotel myself!

It was a very nice experience for me and my family. The employees were very polite and respectful. Our room was clean. A place I will come back to again and again. I would recommend it to those who want to stay in Taksim.

I can say that it is the best hotel I have stayed in Istanbul. everything was great. When I come back, I can say that this is the place I will definitely stay.

Nice staff, good hospitality very unique designed room, right in the heart of Istanbul a minute away from famous Galata Tower. Also coffee, tea and room cleaning service provided everyday. and also i had good breakfast and wifi connection
