"Beautiful room with a phenomenal view! Great location, about 20 mins from Kruger park. The space was large, spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable — perfect for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the complimentary sherry, water, and milk in the room. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond: they had dinner ready for me even though I returned after restaurant hours, and they kindly held my luggage the next morning when I had to leave at 5 a.m. The pool looked incredible, though unfortunately I didn’t have time to use it. Overall, an outstanding experience with wonderful hospitality and very well maintained grounds. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel is good, but our room was on the first floor with not the best view. There were problems with the administration due to the fact that they forgot to pick us up at the reception for a full-day safari ((we stood at the reception for two hours and lost the opportunity to see the morning promenade of animals"

"The first time I stayed at The Capital Mbombela., there are welcome water and cold bottles and cans of sports drinks at the entrance of the lobby. The reception staff at the counter are very kind and courteous. The hotel can reach the opposite Ilanga mall. within two minutes walk."

"The breakfast was not impressive at all especially the hard small sausages. The nice breakfast was when the Mbabane Football Team was hosted on Saturday only."

"Hotel requires serious renovation and repair. Furniture is ancient. We got a shale. Next door can park the car. Shale needs renovation. The breakfast area has a superb terrace with river view. Breakfasts and dinner are delicious. Water, tea, coffee at dinner are paid. All Swedish table"

Дизайн домика выше всяких похвал — резная кровать, соломенная крыша, в целом весь комплекс очень органичный. Сюда приходили антилопы, бородавочники, а на ужине галаго кормят бананом. В лодже с 6 до 8 вечера есть возможность поужинать за 495 ZAR. В ужин включены: закуска, горячее и десерт. Очень вкусно и сытно. Вообще, изначально, меня привлекла локация, лодж находится в непосредственной близости от магазина Spar и ресторанчика. Идти около 10 минут по тропинке. Как и писали многие, дорога до лоджа после съезда с основной дороги не самая комфортная для маленьких машин. Пришлось ехать очень внимательно и аккуратно, но обошлось без повреждений. Спасибо всем сотрудникам, вы сделали наше проживание незабываемым. Это было наше первое в жизни сафари, и было очень ценно начать знакомство с животным миром Африки в такой чудесной атмосфере."

"Stayed for one night. No breakfast as we left very early for the airport. Hospital oh stylish room, comfortable mattresses and pillows. Dinner at the hotel restaurant - beyond all praise!"

"Lodge is located in Marlot Park, so without visiting animals you will not stay, we came to us various antilops, zebras, bearded, near saw giraffes and males, it is very cool! We had a two-room lodge in the style of the loft all new and beautiful. The only thing to bear in mind is that food needs to be brought with you, there is nothing in the boat and the staff are very badly speaking and understanding in English. We were without a car and we were very helpful by the manager who took us to the nearest Spara on the Marlot Park territory, for which she was separate thank you. The walk was about an hour in one direction. We were two days considered quite enough for this location. It is necessary to visit."

"We visited Sabi River Sun in December 2020, having visited this resort last in 2008! We should never have stayed away for so long, considering this resort is still as lovely as it was back then! On both occasions we stayed in the hotel, as opposed to the self-catering chalets. Check-in was a pleasant, efficient process, with us having made full payment during the booking process online. This naturally sped up the check-in. There are a few Covid-19 related checks that take place, which is now normal for all hospitality establishments. Our room overlooked the kiddies playarea, with a view of the pool area too. The room (#220) was comfortable, but it does appear dated, in need of a slight refurb. We spent more time than we would normally in the room due to the rainy weather during our stay. Breakfast and dinner was equally excellent. We engaged with the chefs on duty at both sessions daily due to our Halaal requirements, which the chefs were aware of, and met! We were most impressed by this!!! Just a note - on our check-out, when settling the dinners for our daughter (dinners are included for adults), we noticed that someone else's receipt was also included in our bill. Upon querying this, we were presented with the receipts and highlighted the 1 that was not ours. I guess this can happen when the writing (room number, etc) is illegible. Not a trainsmash though! During the stay, we met with Malcolm (GM) and his team. This was excellent as we managed to engage on our visit experience, etc. All in all, a wonderful stay! We most certainly intend returning, hopefully, it does not take another 12 years :-)"
