"Excellent hotel. Cleanliness: Spotless Facilities: Top-notch Ambiance: Quiet Service: Warm and welcoming I'm incredibly grateful to the hotel staff! I accidentally left my backpack in the room during a room change. After contacting the front desk, they quickly retrieved it for me. My passport, bank cards, and US dollar cash were all inside, and everything was returned to me exactly as I left it! A huge thank you to the hotel staff!"

The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was fairly smooth. The room was clean, though a bit small, and the facilities were quite basic. Breakfast had a decent variety, but the taste was average. Overall, it’s a good option for those looking for an affordable stay close to the المسجد النبوي, especially for convenience"

With a stay at Durrat Al Eiman in Madinah (Madinah City Center), you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Prophet's Mosque and Masjid Abu Dharr al Ghifari. This hotel is 1.3 mi (2.1 km) from Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque and 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from The Seven Mosques. Make yourself at home in one of the 30 guestrooms. Bathrooms with showers are provided.

"Honestly, this hotel is a great deal for the price. It’s way cheaper compared to other nearby hotels, but you still get a really comfortable room. The bed was cozy, everything felt clean, and it had a nice, relaxing vibe. The location is super convenient too—easy to go Haram and close to everything you need. What really stood out was the service. The staff were quick, helpful, and made the whole stay smooth and hassle-free. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for something affordable without giving up comfort."

Experience profound spiritual luxury at Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah, a few steps away from Al Masjid Al Nabawi. Our 5-star retreat, near one of Saudi Arabia's most sacred sites, seamlessly connects local traditions with elegant French hospitality. As you step into the pedestrian area of Al Madinah, let us welcome you to opulent rooms and suites, some with breathtaking views of the Mosque and Haram Plaza.

"Trip.com described Sofitel as a leading premium hotel and we were so excited to give a try. But it turned out to be not quite accurate : 1. The hotel layout, its setting in particular the lobby area and reception is so small and does not exude any premium vibes. 2. The lifts, are also quite tiny and if a wheelchair user gets in, then it feels crowded already. 3. The room once we entered was not fully ready eg wrong name displayed on tv screen, bathrobe not hung as it should be, no towels etc etc. Pls refer to the pictures attached."

"The hotel is very close to the Haram. The services inside the hotel are excellent. However, the cleanliness is far below expectations. As for check-in, we were deceived; I had booked for an 11 AM check-in but wasn't allowed in before 3 PM. The reception staff told us that the hotel's policy differs from the website's, and we were the ones who suffered because of it. Therefore, next time I'll book directly with the hotel and not through a website. Wishing you all the best."

"For what the hotels worth, it’s a really good one. The beds are super comfy, the toilets are clean and the staff are helpful. Shuttle bus is provided for all 5 prayers to the Masjid. Used uber sometimes if I had other plans, and it’s affordable. Probably the only negative thing I experienced is that the wifi can be a bit unstable inside the room. Other than that, totally worth it."

Makarem Burj Al Madina Hotel and Suites is conveniently located a mere 4-minute walking distance from the Prophet’s Mosque (Al-Masjid An-Nabawi), with easy access to the women’s gate.

"My recent stay at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was truly remarkable, and it is a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the holy city. From the moment I arrived, the experience exceeded expectations in every possible way. One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its excellent location, just a short and convenient walk from the blessed Masjid Al Nabawi. This proximity makes it incredibly easy to attend prayers, especially Fajr and late-night prayers, without the stress of transportation or long walking distances. The staff at Makarem Burj Al Madinah deserve special recognition. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, respectful, and genuinely eager to help. The front desk staff handled check-in smoothly and professionally, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Equally impressive was the cleaning team, who maintained the rooms and public areas to an exceptionally high standard. Their attention to detail was evident daily, and their polite and friendly manner made the stay even more comfortable. As the hotel is only around six months old, everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms, corridors, and common areas are spotless, well maintained, and beautifully finished. There is a noticeable sense of cleanliness throughout the property, complemented by a pleasant and refreshing fragrance that greets you as soon as you enter. This consistent cleanliness and inviting atmosphere contribute greatly to a sense of peace and relaxation after long hours spent at the Haram. Another excellent feature of the hotel is the 24-hour gym, which is thoughtfully segregated for men and women. This allows guests to exercise comfortably and privately at any time of day or night. The gym is modern, clean, and well equipped, making it easy to maintain a fitness routine even while traveling. Having round-the-clock access is especially convenient for guests with busy schedules centered around prayer times. Breakfast at Makarem Burj Al Madinah was another highlight of the stay. The breakfast spread is generous, varied, and well organized, offering a wide selection of dishes to suit different tastes. From fresh and hot options to lighter choices, everything was prepared to a high standard. The dining area is clean and pleasant, and the breakfast staff are attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to the day. Overall, Makarem Burj Al Madinah delivers an outstanding hospitality experience. Its close proximity to Masjid Al Nabawi, combined with its new and pristine condition, friendly staff, excellent housekeeping, well-designed gym facilities, and high-quality breakfast, make it an ideal choice for visitors to Madinah. I would gladly stay here again so long as prices remain reasonable God willing and confidently recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and quality during their visit to this sacred city."

I had a very pleasant stay at Elaf Taibah Hotel in Madinah. The location is excellent — just a short walking distance to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, which makes it very convenient for prayer times. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were polite and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and fast. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby, making it easy to find food and daily necessities. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Madinah for Umrah or Ziyarah. I would definitely stay here again. ⭐️

The InterContinental Dar Al Iman Madinah is an excellent choice for anyone travelling to Madinah with worship in mind, who values being as close as possible to Masjid al-Nabawi, wants full service, and is willing to pay a premium for convenience and comfort. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, the staff are strong, and the location is hard to beat. If, however, your stay is more about casual tourism or you’re budget-sensitive and willing to be a little further from the Haram, you might find better value elsewhere. But if proximity and spiritual atmosphere matter to you — this hotel definitely delivers.

Location is perfect. Short walk to the Mosque and easy to organise walking to all the shops. Staff are exceptional, always looking to enhance your experience. Breakfast was good with a good selection but did lack variety day in day out. Staff here are very good and are always willing to help. Downside would be the coffee machines that never seemed to be working correctly. We had a couple of maintenance issues, but staff were sent promptly and most were rectified in a good time. A tip would ask for your room to face the mall, the otherside had a lot of traffic noise which was constant.

************* a really pleasant stay we are very grateful to the team for allowing early check in at 10am which was super helpful considering the inconvenient Wizz air London to Medina schedule. Rooms were comfortable. Mount Uhud view was appreciated. as well as the hotel no delays with lifts etc. Excellent convenience with food street which was a great help. Honestly location is a key benefit for the hotel. Breakfast was good but a slight let down . Hash browns were not great tasting likewise for the pancakes. The omelette line was a bit too long straight after Fajr but if you wait to have breakfast till about 8am the queue is more reasonable. Cheese on the omelette station wasn’t nice I’d recommend changing it as it was way too bland and looked awfully plasticky. There needs to be a greater variety of juices and fresh fruit. for the Honestly for the price we paid for was really good value I’d definitely book again if prices make sense for it regardless off the breakfast let down as the variety of foods meant you can still leave the breakfast hall full. The Karak chai in the breakfast hall was enjoyable no doubt. Overall it’s more of a very good 4* hotel by Madina hotel standards

It's on par with a typical Home Inn, but thankfully the location is great, very close to the Prophet's Mosque. During Ramadan, breakfast isn't served at the usual times. There's a kettle, toothbrush and toothpaste, and slippers provided. Parking is free.

We had originally booked another hotel but upon arrival there we immediately canceled our reservation and were looking for another hotel in the area ASAP, something clean, close to Masjid Nabawi and fairly priced.  We knew the name and brand; however, we saw two Intercontinental hotels and went with the one we felt had a slight edge or advantage. The hotel was built many years ago and we were informed that it is in the planning process of a renovation so we knew ahead of time what to expect. It has signature blue carpet and a 1950’s/1960’s vibe that I personally adored (almost out of a James Bond movie with Sean Connery).   Everyday we stayed at the hotel, it grew on us.  The view outside was heavenly mashAla.  Remember you can open the window haha some people I imagine think they can’t.  It such an experience and you have to do it.  Most importantly, however, the sweatheart staff and how accommodating they were, you forget you’re staying at the Intercontinental and imagine you’re at your friends house.  Again, We had an amazing window view and could see in the direction of Uhud.  All The cafe’s are right outside of the hotel, the mosque is literally right outside the hotel and down the walking path, maybe a 5 minute walk.  Plenty of pigeons to feed, affordable Ubers/ Taxi right outside, you can walk to Uhud you can walk to Quba, you can do it all.  And the best part, the check-in/help desk are right in front of you when you walk in to the lobby.   Side note: if you enjoy peoppe watching , you get a great view from your hotel room to the outside.  They have a coffee bar in the Lobby with free dates and Arabic coffee (world class) and this hotel served the best Breakfast and room service food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to 51 countries, aged 44.  It was even at par or better maybe than the Jabal Omar in Mecca we stayed at.  You absolutely cannot lose out by staying at this hotel.  If you have any issues pick up your room phone and dial any one of the prompts and someone will alleviate any issues you have.   The hotel executive management were world class and again treated me like a friend/family.  Based off our repertoire I’d come back to this hotel because Sister Khadijah and staff were so amazing mashAla.

We stayed here for two nights in Madinah with our family. The nightly rate was on the expensive side, but it felt in line with other similar hotels in the area. The location is decent — it’s around a 15-minute drive to Al-Haram — but there is no shuttle service at all. On the positive side, the room and overall facilities were clean. Unfortunately, a few issues really impacted our stay. There is construction immediately behind (almost attached to) the building, and we were woken up around 7:00 AM by nonstop drilling that continued for hours. Because of the noise, we ended up leaving the hotel and staying out as much as possible during the daytime. This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. The hotel should have the courtesy to clearly share this noise/construction situation at the time of booking, so guests can make an informed decision. Parking was another major challenge. The parking is very limited and the access is not easy, so if you’re traveling with a car, it can be quite difficult and stressful. Lastly, while the staff we did interact with were friendly, it was often hard to find someone when we needed assistance.

This hotel was supposed to be 3.5 kilometres in a straight line to Masjid Al nabawi but due to road works we ended up travelling 9 km each way. The hotel itself is a converted apartment building that turned into Suites probably because the owner couldn't sell the apartments due to the area not close to any business centres or shopping malls. Prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and communication is great No USB charging ports provided anywhere including lounge or bedrooms. No towels or any cleaning supplies provided to keep this little apartment clean. Bathroom floors were extremely slippery to the level I would call dangerous. Bathroom fittings, kitchen ,bedrooms and all furniture in living area also large and comfortable , but we booked for six beds they only provided us 5 beds plus a thin single mattress , which was a great disappointment. But for us, the biggest drawback was that it's too far from Masjid Al nabawi and not suitable even at low prices. I would recommend paying more to be closer to Masjid Al nabawi there are plenty of options within 15-20 minutes walk at good price, but if your reason to stay in Madina is not Masjid Al nabawi, then this hotel suite is okay, just consider all the notes I made above.

The hotel’s location near the Prophet’s Mosque is excellent, making it convenient for visitors. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Rooms felt outdated, cleanliness was lacking, and staff were slow to respond to requests. Parking is free .While the location is a big plus, the service and facilities need significant improvement.
