"The Lime Resort was a great place to stay in El Nido. We stayed in the spacious Seaview room for 8 days, which provided a stunning view of the sea. The only improvement suggestion is that management update the room, as it showed signs of wear, including a misaligned drawer, torn curtains, and peeling floor tiles. Breakfast could also be enhanced, as it mainly offered processed foods. Nonetheless, the staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The hotel is located on the seashore in a bay with a magnificent view. The beach is uncrowded, perfect for a secluded, relaxing getaway. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes along the coast. The food is delicious. Breakfast was included in the price—several kinds of omelettes, fruit, and coffee or tea—very tasty. The water is clean and sandy; snorkeling is something you'd have to go elsewhere. You can rent a bike at the hotel; we rented one almost every day and went to neighboring beaches and El Nido. We really enjoyed it, and it was affordable. The owner was very attentive and caring, and he recommended the best places to go and see! The only downside was the mosquito bites on the beach; the bites swelled and itched terribly, and repellents didn't help. Otherwise, everything was great. We also booked an excursion and a taxi to the airport through the owner. He can accommodate any whim! We ordered local fish and squid, and he brought everything for us and grilled it right there on the spot. It was delicious!"

"I really liked the hotel and the beach itself. There are sun loungers, showers, toilets, and a small pool within the glamping area. Vendors aren't allowed on the property, so you won't be bothered. It can be a bit noisy in the room in the evenings/at night due to nature sounds – some might not like it, but we found it pleasant to fall asleep to. The mountain view from the room is beautiful, but if you look down, it's a bit of a swamp and a parking lot – not so great.
Breakfasts are modest, machine coffee costs extra, and the fruits and vegetables are bland (except for the mango). Food and drink prices aren't cheap, but everything is good quality. Right outside the fence on the beach, there are several cafes, shops, and massage places.
Upon check-in, we received some welcome gifts: 2 bottles of water, apples, nuts, instant noodles, and a shell necklace! And upon check-out, we got some small pastries.
Transfers to/from El Nido airport or to the town center cost 1800 PHP for a minivan.
Pros: Large, nice-looking rooms, plenty of towels, spotless white linens.
Cons: Weak shower pressure, no handheld showerhead (only a rain shower), and no place to dry clothes."

"EL nido suites Location and the hotel facilities are the best.
The staff was helpful and room was good. I was able to book massage, tour and motor bike from the reception staff. Breakfast did let me down but still not bad. Bus terminal is next to it and the el nido public market.
Vanila beach, lio beach and nacpan beach is not far. Especially old town is around 10 minutes of walking distance from the hotel for the night life and for good restaurants.
Overall i would definitely recommend this hotel."

"I was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word “resort” and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to that.
The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance.
That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chef’s kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay.
With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price they’re charging. Right now, it’s the staff that make the experience worthwhile."

"The hotel looks nice from the outside, but everything inside felt dirty and poorly maintained. Initially, we were put in a room overlooking vents and a noisy street, even though we had specifically requested a quiet room when booking. The hotel was accommodating and moved us to a different room. However, I have to say, the soundproofing is poor; you can hear everything happening outside very clearly. Especially the motorcycles going by and the rooster crowing in the mornings!
The cleaning was terrible – everything was dusty and grimy. And they'll only clean your room if you remember to hang the 'make up room' sign on the door.
Breakfast was a letdown; the selection was very limited. The cheese was awful and clearly the cheapest kind. There was no cold cuts or ham. Breakfasts here felt more like lunch or dinner. You're better off going to local cafes for breakfast.
On the positive side, the location is good, and the pool area is beautiful with a fantastic view.
This hotel might be suitable for a short stay, but definitely keep the aforementioned issues in mind."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nacpan Beach Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. "Everything about this hotel was amazing, but most of all, the staff (hotel and restaurant) was excellent and the highlight of our stay. They were respectful, called us by name every time they would see us, and went out of their way to cater to our every whim. The view from the bar is amazing and their authentic Philippino cuisine top notch. I am not vegan or vegetarian but the vegan restaurant was excellent, I didn't want to eat anywhere apart from the restaurant hotels and portions were huge and very reasonably priced. We had a Seaview room and it was stunning. The room also has a mini fridge, a Dyson hairdryer, a TV with Netflix and Prime (log in with your own account), a safe and a swinging chair in front of the window. The balcony is small but has a bench and a drying rack. The hotel provides beach towels. They also provided free airport shuttles and arranged all our excursions. They don't have laundry services but there are laundry services within a few steps from the hotel. There are also a great bakery, ATMs, a night street market and plenty of other bars and restaurants within a short walking distance of the hotel. There isn't a phone in the room but the hotel uses WhatsApp to communicate and it worked super well. I would stay there again and can highly recommend!"

"No idea why on Google this had bad reviews don't believe them, the staff were super friendly helped us find the right tours for us especially during the typhoon causing cancellations on our originally planned tours.
The room had a stunning view and peaceful sounds of the sea during the night.

FFazar ZamanI stayed at Z Garden Hotel between 28th Nov and 1st Dec. My stay was absolutely amazing. I arrived on an early morning flight, and despite check in being from 3pm, Remy re assured me that they will do their best to accommodate me within a short time. I left my luggage with reception and went to have some breakfast. By the time I returned my room was prepared and I was blown away at the hospitality of the staff as Remy realised upon check in that it was my birthday a few days before and the staff prepared my room with balloons and decor which left me speechless. The staff at the hotel really epitomise the hospitality and kindness of the people of Philippines. Every day my room would be left spotless and as a solo traveller it had everything I could have needed. Modern, stylish room and the bed was so comfortable. I generally struggle to sleep in Hotels but the bed was really comfortable and a warm space to relax. I was greeted by every staff member that passed by from the reception team, to housekeeping to the security guard at night. Any advice I needed or transport arranged, Remy took absolute care of everything as though I was her own guest and it really leaves a beautiful memory of my travels. It is in a brilliant location, in a quiet relaxing space just a short distance away from the lively scene of El Nido. I hope to return to El Nido in future with my family and without hesitation I will choose to stay at Z Garden Hotel again.

TTeeks Pros:
Our stay at Piece Lio was decent overall. The aesthetics matched the pictures online, and the studio was spacious with a lovely balcony view overlooking the rainforest. I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer in the room, which made things much easier with long hair. The staff were friendly, polite, and kind, thank you guys!
Cons:
There were some small issues in the room, such as paint patches peeling off and small holes near the window shutters, which need attention, especially for a fairly new hotel.
The biggest disappointment was discovering that there is no gym or spa, even though both are listed in the hotel’s description. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it was for us since we had planned our trip around maintaining our fitness and relaxation routine. Instead, guests are given access to facilities within the same hospitality group. The gym and spa are located offsite, about 15 minutes away in town. While the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from that location, the drive feels much longer than expected due to island roads. The gym is small with basic equipment, and the spa, called Rituals Health and Spa, felt old and in need of renovation.
Breakfast was average and not really to our liking. It was also inconvenient because most restaurants at Lio Beach do not open until around 10 a.m., leaving limited early morning options. We ended up eating at another nearby hotel restaurant, Molave, which was the only one open at that time. One of the staff members incorrectly told us there were other options available earlier, which suggests a need for better training and communication.
Another issue was with a pre-booked van ride to one of the beaches. We had confirmed it via WhatsApp, but when we went downstairs, the staff had no record of it. To their credit, they handled the situation professionally and offered us a free one-way ride to make up for the inconvenience.
Overall:
The staff were warm and helpful, but management needs to improve communication, training, and most importantly, the accuracy of the facilities listed online. It feels misleading to advertise a gym and spa that are not actually part of the hotel. The lack of an in-house restaurant was also inconvenient, especially when you want a quick meal without leaving the property.
If the hotel eventually adds its own spa and gym, it would be a much better experience. We did recommend it to friends for a short stay before their flight, but I would not suggest booking it if your priority is having fitness and spa facilities in one place. Overall, would return it they added the facilities!
P.S. there’s cats! I’m not a cats person so it was a little uncomfortable to have them downstairs in the lobby area .

Top-notch hospitality, warmth, and exceptional service!! I am long overdue in sharing my review, but I am excited to share my experience. My husband booked Seda Lio for my 50th birthday celebration. From the moment they picked us up from the airport in a golf buggy , which my boys loved, to the front desk, where we were greeted with drinks and a wonderful welcome, we knew we were in for a exceptional time. The service was unparalleled, led by Miggy, Devine, and their team. They upgraded us to a beautiful and spacious suite, closest to the beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I must mention the delicious Taho and exceptional service provided by Jason and his team (forgot to mention the lady that served our table across the main door who was equally exceptional as well ). I received birthday cake greetings twice during breakfast, courtesy of Jason who made sure I blew my cake before we went for Island hopping, and again during dinner. Kuya Eddie was remarkable, making us feel safe during our island adventure and taking my sons snorkeling.And made my sons coconut palm hat. GGuest UserThis hotel is situated slightly back from the beach bars which are only a few minutes stroll away. Its on a busy road and traffic noise can be heard from the apartments that face the road, ear plugs are provided both traffic did die down late evening.
The rooms are spacious and clean with air-conditioning, they do not have an elevator but bags were taken up by the porters who gave a great service.
The staff are very helpful and polite, go that extra step to help you, they have a nice bar and good seating area with some seating along side the swimming pool.
Break fast was good with plenty of choice with Ann egg station to where you could order your desired omelet.
Wifi was also qood with plenty of plugs down stairs in the lounge.
The beds were comfy but made a clattering noise when changing sleeping position, its only my opinion but to me the pillows were too large, would preferred slimmer pillows.
I would recommend this hotel if your going to stay in El Nido, great location not near any boom boom bars the are alive till the early morning, what our stay at this hotel special was the staff that made our stay most welcome and all being on first name terms.

JJustUsExploringWe stayed for a night at this hidden villa, and it felt like a true home away from home. The staff were incredibly kind and respectful, providing excellent service that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The food was a highlight—absolutely delicious, with a healthy breakfast offered in the morning. You can even request a floating breakfast, which added a special touch to the experience. While the villa is tucked away down a short gravel road, the peaceful and private setting made it worth the effort.
The villa is kid-friendly, but families should be cautious around the tiled swimming pool area. There’s no TV, so if you’re traveling with children, make sure their devices are charged. Fortunately, the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing stay with amazing food and warm hospitality. We highly recommend this villa for a cozy and memorable getaway.

NNikolai EfimenkoThis hotel is really, really great, I loved it! Even though I stayed in a shared four-person room, it didn't bother me at all because almost every day (from morning till evening) we were out on excursions or somewhere else. The staff are friendly and caring, rooms are cleaned daily, and the showers and toilets are communal (but there are also a few separate stalls just for women). The breakfasts are delicious and varied – I would fly back to the Philippines again just for these breakfasts! Because here, I only had truly good food three times: first in Cebu, second at the hotel's breakfast, and third at an Italian restaurant in El Nido, that's it! In the shared room, you get a towel, a locker with a lock, and a large bed (unlike other similar hotels). I'm thrilled!

AAngelicaFrom the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free.
Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site.
Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a an 8-10 minute walk from the local McDonald's – that's where the transfer drops you off. If you contact the hotel in advance, the staff can come and help with your luggage. If you only have carry-on, you can walk on your own: the path is sandy but very scenic, running along the beach and the sea.
Currently, the hotel consists of two buildings. The rooms in the building with the reception are more spacious and cozy. There's no TV in the room, but with such a magnificent view, you don't even need one! 🙂
You can rent a moped directly at the hotel, but the road to it is quite challenging: a steep ascent and an equally steep descent. If you're not a confident rider, it might be tricky.
Drink prices are about twice as high as in the store, but this is standard for all hotels on the island. Breakfasts are decent, but not amazing – for this price, you could find more interesting options even on the way to McDonald's.
Overall, we enjoyed everything. Thanks to all the hotel staff ❤️

GGuest UserThis is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs.
The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour.
Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though.
The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back.

GGuest UserSmall rooms, next to a party street. The size, service and even the location are not worth the money, to be honest. But at that moment there were no options, no choice. All the ports were closed, and the hotels were sold out and there was nowhere to go. We took it for one night.
