"Raia Hotel Penang is an older property, and it shows in the room maintenance. During my stay, the curtains couldn't properly darken the room, letting in too much light. On top of that, there was loud operational noise early in the morning from the kitchen hood starting up. It made getting a good night’s rest very difficult. Needs improvement in room soundproofing and blackout curtains."

"A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room."

"The location was good. My room has a nice view. The room is comfy and spacious. However, there are 2 things I believe the hotel could have done better: 1. Receptionists: when I checked in, the receptionists were not friendly at all. They didn’t smile with me and made me feel quite uncomfortable. I booked the room with breakfast, I believe it is a basic courtesy to confirm with the guests that the booking includes breakfast and inform the guests that what time breakfast will be serving, where it’s located (there are 1 cafe + 1 restaurant in this hotel) and how can we get in (either with breakfast tickets or just walk in and inform room number). I had to ask the receptionist several times for those information (because they weren’t able to give me all info at once). 2. The food was not good. The breakfast’s mvp are chicken sausages, prawn che chong fun and croissants. The rest are cold and tasteless. We also tried the cafe at 1st floor, the drinks were ok, they have Vietnamese chicken salad which tastes not bad but I’m sure we don’t have such thing in Vietnam at all. The worst part was the pizza, it must’ve been made from frozen dough and it was so dry, so hard to bite. Good thing is that around the area, they have a lot of restaurants and shops. If you stay there, you might want to skip the hotel food and explore around."

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amari SPICE Penang, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, everything was smooth, comfortable, and professionally handled. This is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Penang, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting for business, a family vacation, or a relaxing getaway. "I recently stayed at Eureka Hotel Penang, and overall, the experience was below expectations. Service: The service was average—nothing particularly outstanding or memorable. Facilities: The parking system was quite inconvenient and costly, especially for multiple entries and overnight stays. In addition, the environment was rather noisy, which made it difficult to rest comfortably. Cleanliness: This was the most disappointing aspect of the stay. The overall cleanliness was poor, and the toilet in particular was not properly cleaned(Urine Stain), which significantly affected the experience. Overall: There is room for improvement, particularly in cleanliness and facility management."

"The service is good but the Sound insulation no good. Can hear very noise sound in the early morning. Can the place is really narrow even the room or the toilet. That day we live got a towel it is wet in the toilet … maybe is no clean it or forget ? Not sure. The bed also got some stain but we just live one night so just ignore it. Hope to improve the sound insulation to let the customer sleep well and clean peoperly. Thanks"

"Rating: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a pleasant stay at AC Hotel Penang. The hotel has been nicely refurbished and feels modern and comfortable. The room was great, and I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view overlooking Bukit Jambul. The location is another strong point, with plenty of popular restaurants nearby and easy access to food and other amenities. The swimming pool was also acceptable and a nice addition to the stay. The main downside is the basement parking. There is no lift directly from the basement parking area, so you need to use the stairs, which can be quite troublesome when carrying luggage. The parking system also still relies on a physical card that needs to be validated each time before exiting, rather than a more convenient ANPR system. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a good location, refurbished rooms and a nice view. Improving the basement access and modernising the parking system would make the experience even better."
