Our stay in the apartment was wonderful! It is a large apartment with three bedrooms, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. In the apartment of 3 bathrooms (showers) it is very convenient! In the bathrooms there is shampoo, air conditioning and shower gel; more than enough towels for all living.
Beautiful interior, which makes staying particularly pleasant. Big TV with different channels in all languages - this is estimated by our child 😊
On the first floor there is a playground, we played with the kid. Nice neighbors 😊
Imran, the owner of these bright apartments, made our stay comfortable and pleasant. Imran was in touch before settlement, helped us with taxi advice, called us a taxi to the airport. When we were inhabited, we had prepared clean bottled water and even cooled water. Thank you!
There are many different dishes in the apartment. There are tea, coffee, dry cream.
The apartment had a leaflet with contacts where you can order a delivery of food. When booking on the site there was useful information about where to go to dinner.
Imran told us where to buy fruit. We took the advice and tried various new fruits for us.
The apartments are near the beach. We enjoyed a walk and met the sunset. The views are amazing! The ocean is beautiful! The water color is magical!
Near the place of residence is Central Park. Goed to go - liked!
We really liked the city! We found a lot of beautiful for ourselves!
We stayed just one night before departure. But I'd like to stay in this beautiful city for a few days and better know it.
Dear Imran, thank you for your care and hospitality! We are very pleased to meet you! All you have the best!
P.S. I didn't take a photo in the apartments. But I have a lot of photos of the surroundings and this beautiful city.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near several attractions, including the fish market, national museum, and mosque, all within a five-minute walk. However, light sleepers should be cautious, as the surrounding environment can be noisy. Pigeon cooing, calls to prayer from nearby mosques, and construction noise significantly impact sleep quality. The hotel itself is older, and the facilities are quite dated. The minibar only offers complimentary water and tea bags. The bathroom lacks air conditioning, and the shower stall only has a curtain. The toiletries provided are of poor quality, so it's best to bring your own. On the bright side, it was relatively clean. Several power outlets were loose and didn't charge devices properly, requiring a travel adapter. There were no outlets near the bed. The sofa bed was sunken in the middle and very uncomfortable.
The dining experience was subpar. The dinner buffet was awkward, with limited options, and the semi-open grill left a lingering smell on our clothes. Breakfast was a combination of à la carte and buffet. The à la carte options were quite good, but the buffet part was, again, disappointing. Our airport pickup took 15 minutes to arrive, and I paid an additional $15 for private transfer. The return trip to the airport was a shared, complimentary service.

Guest UserI highly recommend this transit hotel; this is my fourth stay here. Before the pandemic, it was just average, but now it's been renovated and has reached the standard of a domestic budget hotel. Anyone who's stayed in a transit hotel in Malé knows how significant that statement is! Plus, the service is excellent. And the restaurant on the 7th floor is an amazing surprise, far exceeding my expectations! If you arrive in Malé at night, don't bother looking for other restaurants; just head straight to the 7th floor for a hassle-free and delicious meal.

I booked Star Shell for very first time as a resident who working and living in Maldives via trip.com. Price is reasonable.
The check in was quick and simple. Staff were very helpful. The room is lovely. However, if you are sensitive to the noise then I am not recommended, because you can hear the car noise from road. My room got lonely view far from sea and shade from tree.
Very basic amenities provided as dental kit, bath amenities attached in bathroom.
I wish to extend my stay directly with property as my bf able to fly to see me after his work, but as per property rules if you don’t have marriage certificate then it won’t be allowed to proceed. I understand, but nothing was mentioned so I won’t recommend to any expats in the Maldives.
Overall just okay for transit night before fly out or to go other island.

Just a moment after we entered the door of Hotel Flora we were treated to drink a fresh mango juice and wet towels to wash our faces and hands. We spent less than five minutes to complete our formalities, personally guided to our room by a lovely receptionist who fully informed us about all necessary info on Male and local vendors. The suite we accommodated to our surprise was like an apartment: a bedroom , a bathroom, a living room with sofa, two TVs and a fridge. In the morning we enjoyed our breakfast, simple , but tasty, additionally we asked the waitress to cook omelette for us , which we got it ready in 5 minutes. Each hotel employee we met , expressed his/her respect and politeness. The location is quite convenient, easy to reach supermarkets or cafes on foot, it is around 10 minutes walk to Ferry ⛴️ Terminal if you plan to continue your voyage to the islands, inside of the waiting area you may find the ferry schedule and the booking office. We left the hotel with positive feelings and full satisfaction. Thank you , Hotel Flora❤️💜💛🌸😊

I had a really pleasant stay at Zan Lodge, and it honestly lived up to what I was hoping for. From the start, things felt easy and well-organized. One thing I really appreciated was the free airport pick-up and drop-off. It made arriving and leaving so much less stressful, especially after a long trip.
The room itself was just what I needed—clean, comfortable, and relaxing. It wasn’t overly fancy, but everything was well-kept and thoughtfully arranged, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to rest well each night.
Breakfast was another nice part of the experience. The food was good, and I liked that they included local dishes on the menu. It gave me a chance to try something different and added a more authentic touch to my stay. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, which made mornings something to look forward to.
What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made the atmosphere feel warm and genuine, not forced. Whether I had a question or needed assistance, they were quick to respond and happy to help.
Overall, Zan Lodge is a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and kind hospitality. I left feeling happy with my choice and would definitely recommend it to others.

min_子連れおでかけinマレーシアThe location was fantastic – just 10 minutes from the airport and a short walk to the sea, plus it was excellent value for money. Kids stayed free too! We were initially planning to squeeze three of us onto one bed, but we were shown how to pull out an extra single bed from underneath, which made for a much more comfortable sleep. The only downside was that the floor under the pull-out bed was dirty and hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. We had a simple but satisfying breakfast buffet which included toast, cornflakes, sausages, and fruit.

No sea view, except from the top small swimming pool. Service was great, with good English skills. Located in a busy street, but walk distance to most things. Very small rooms for a really high price! Bed was really hard, and not suitable without waking up many times a night with backpains. Also wonder why the housekeeping cart always was outside our room for almost 2 days.. Very annoying! Next time I would consider other options.

kelkonsStayed here for a night with my friend before we headed to the resorts. The exterior of the hotel looked nice and modern, and the receptionists helped us with our luggage. Checked in was 2/3pm and we arrived early, had to come back in a while since the room wasnt ready but not a big issue. Located next to the beach, we could easily walk over to the beach and shops. One thing would be how there was no hot water and we had to shower with cold water. And had also encountered a small cockroach... But overall the room was spacious, could easily have our luggage lying openly and still had space to walk around, and had an outdoor balcony (but shared with your neighbor, so will be awkward if you happen to see your neighbor outside when you open your curtains).
