Our stay in the apartment was wonderful! It is a large apartment with three bedrooms, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. In the apartment of 3 bathrooms (showers) it is very convenient! In the bathrooms there is shampoo, air conditioning and shower gel; more than enough towels for all living. Beautiful interior, which makes staying particularly pleasant. Big TV with different channels in all languages - this is estimated by our child 😊 On the first floor there is a playground, we played with the kid. Nice neighbors 😊 Imran, the owner of these bright apartments, made our stay comfortable and pleasant. Imran was in touch before settlement, helped us with taxi advice, called us a taxi to the airport. When we were inhabited, we had prepared clean bottled water and even cooled water. Thank you! There are many different dishes in the apartment. There are tea, coffee, dry cream. The apartment had a leaflet with contacts where you can order a delivery of food. When booking on the site there was useful information about where to go to dinner. Imran told us where to buy fruit. We took the advice and tried various new fruits for us. The apartments are near the beach. We enjoyed a walk and met the sunset. The views are amazing! The ocean is beautiful! The water color is magical! Near the place of residence is Central Park. Goed to go - liked! We really liked the city! We found a lot of beautiful for ourselves! We stayed just one night before departure. But I'd like to stay in this beautiful city for a few days and better know it. Dear Imran, thank you for your care and hospitality! We are very pleased to meet you! All you have the best! P.S. ✨ Amazing Experience at The Somerset Hotel in Malé, Maldives! ✨ Just got back from Malé and I have to rave about my experience! From landing at the airport to the hotel, and even dining and getting around, everything was so comfortable, I didn't want to leave. 🥰 🚗 Transportation & Getting Around The hotel's location is absolutely perfect! Whether you're heading to the pier for a speedboat to another island, or exploring Malé city, it's incredibly convenient. During this trip, whether it was the expansive roads on the sea bridge or the narrow streets of the city, taking a taxi was always smooth. The drivers were really friendly too, so I didn't have to worry about transportation at all. It's super friendly for first-time visitors to Malé! 🏨 The Somerset Hotel Service & Details I felt so welcomed as soon as I arrived! The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and prepared welcome gifts for us. Even the envelope had my name printed on it – talk about attention to detail! The room was clean and tidy, with full amenities. The lounge area was tastefully decorated, and the corner with dried flower arrangements had a wonderful ambiance. Coming back to the hotel at night to unwind after a long day was truly therapeutic. 🍴 Dining Experience The hotel's restaurant was another fantastic surprise! - The seafood platter was incredibly generous! Crab, squid, mussels, clams... all fresh and plump. Paired with refreshing lemon and herbs, every bite was bursting with the taste of the sea. The portion was huge, easily enough for two people! - And then there was the local-style fried rice. The grains of rice were perfectly separated, complemented by tender chicken and a soulful spicy sauce. It was so fragrant, I polished off the entire plate! The side dishes like fries and grilled vegetables were also very flavorful, even the dipping sauce was so good I wanted to take it home. 😂 💖 Overall Impression Whether it was the convenience of transportation, the hotel service, or the dining experience, I couldn't find a single fault! Every day here was so relaxing and comfortable. It's an excellent choice for a transit or stopover in Malé. Next time I come to the Maldives, I'm definitely staying here again!

I got scammed by the taxi driver from the airport to the hotel. He said the price had gone up to ten dollars since February/March, but it's usually five or six. The hotel's location is excellent, right by the sea, so you can watch the sunrise from the balcony in the morning. The living room is shared with another room, and it's fully equipped with a washing machine, fridge, and stove. The hotel price is good value. There are plenty of convenient places to eat and shop nearby. The paid self-service breakfast is a local specialty, affordable and delicious, with freshly made milk tea, other drinks, juice, and bottled water, all for about 70 local currency, which is less than four US dollars. The restaurant owner was very honest; he told me his exchange rate wasn't good enough and directed me to a place where I could get 21 local currency for one US dollar. Great value for money. If I ever return to Hulhumale, I'll definitely stay here again.

Overall: Pleasant stay with thoughtful amenities & good value. With a few small improvements, it could be even better. Pros: Green surroundings with plants give the hotel a refreshing feel. Elevator makes access easy. Interesting room design despite limited space. Rooftop restaurant offers cozy ambience with views of a beach tennis court & main road. Room includes a safe, stocked mini bar, & universal power sockets. Dinner & breakfast menus are decent. Booking via Trip.com provided good value for money. Staff are generally helpful. 24-hour convenience store located about five blocks away. Cons: Airport transfer not included; bus ride (MVR10 each way) plus short walk is manageable but inconvenient in rain. During the night, traffic noise can affect sleep if you are not a deep sleeper. Welcome drink policy unclear depending on booking source. Mini bar checks could be communicated immediately to avoid delays before flights. Coffee machine capsule policy (complimentary vs chargeable) needs clarification. Toilet roll holder placement in Room 103 is awkward. Remote controls could be cleaned more regularly. Shower grouting may need reinforcement. Toilet ventilation would benefit from an exhaust fan. Hangers with clips would be useful.

Just a moment after we entered the door of Hotel Flora we were treated to drink a fresh mango juice and wet towels to wash our faces and hands. We spent less than five minutes to complete our formalities, personally guided to our room by a lovely receptionist who fully informed us about all necessary info on Male and local vendors. The suite we accommodated to our surprise was like an apartment: a bedroom , a bathroom, a living room with sofa, two TVs and a fridge. In the morning we enjoyed our breakfast, simple , but tasty, additionally we asked the waitress to cook omelette for us , which we got it ready in 5 minutes. Each hotel employee we met , expressed his/her respect and politeness. The location is quite convenient, easy to reach supermarkets or cafes on foot, it is around 10 minutes walk to Ferry ⛴️ Terminal if you plan to continue your voyage to the islands, inside of the waiting area you may find the ferry schedule and the booking office. The duvet and sheets felt a bit old and had a slight, unpleasant smell. The bathroom wasn't well-ventilated and also had a bit of an odor. Soundproofing was decent, probably because there weren't many guests, so no one was next door. The cakes and pasta at the downstairs restaurant were delicious, and the Korean fried chicken was really good – a must-order! Breakfast was also good, with hot Americano coffee available. The beach across the street was a bit dirty. Overall, for a transit hotel, it's pretty much what you'd expect. We waited quite a while for the airport pickup because it was a shared shuttle, which is understandable. The morning drop-off to the airport for our flight to another island was very quick.

The room was spacious enough, but also quite expensive, so the value for money wasn't great. We're a family of three, and booked through Trip.com, and surprisingly got three bedrooms and three beds – way more than we needed! We only used it as a transit hotel, sleeping just 5 hours, so paying over 3000 was unnecessary. The location itself is pretty good, with lots of food options nearby. However, it was very noisy at night because it's right above the ferry terminal with ferries coming and going. Free round-trip airport shuttle: Yes.

Best location right in front of Hulhumale Beach. The ground floor and rooftop restaurants are also delicious. The room is budget-friendly, but comfortable enough for a good rest. The bed creaks a bit, but it didn't bother me since I was alone. :) The air conditioning is cool and there's a ceiling fan, so it's very pleasant. Having a terrace made smoking very convenient. The bathroom has good water pressure and plenty of hot water! The TV was broken so I didn't try to turn it on. There are two safety deposit boxes. Enjoy trip!

The room was small ((( Somehow, expectations and reality didn't match. The pool on the 12th floor was nice)) The view was beautiful. I didn't like that I booked through Trip.com, and the website showed full payment with all fees included. They didn't say anything about it upon check-in, but upon check-out, they charged us an extra $12 for tax! Even though the voucher didn't indicate any additional fees!
