Maafushi Hotels with Wifi

"The biggest drawback of this hotel was the constant buzzing of the air conditioning, which gave me a headache. The room itself was decent, with a balcony where clothes dried overnight. We booked an island hopping tour with Kani and had a great time, although we happened to be on a very crowded trip with about 20 people, completely filling the boat. The nurse shark experience was done one family at a time, and then the drone footage was taken one person at a time. The downside of so many people was how time-consuming it was. The night fishing was pretty good, with about ten people, and quite fun. Afterwards, we had fried rice and one fish per person at the hotel's ground floor restaurant. Don't have high expectations for food in the Maldives; it's definitely not as tasty as in China, but it's not bad and fills you up."

"A cozy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Everything meets expectations. The room is clean and comfortable with good soundproofing, which is very important. The location is excellent, with all amenities within walking distance. Breakfasts are provided, and they are varied and delicious."

Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. "One of the best hotels on Maafushi Island. The hotel arranges airport transfers from Velana International Airport, complete with full assistance – luggage handling and refreshing drinks. They are accommodating with early check-ins without extra charges. The hotel has its own Bikini Beach, which is cleaned daily. A wonderful breakfast is included, depending on your booking rate."

"The hotel was incredibly easy to find, practically right in front of me as soon as I arrived in Maafushi. It was so close to the airport that I didn't have to wander around at all after my transfer, which was a huge relief with all my luggage. Its accessibility also made it super convenient for tours and getting around during my stay. There were tons of cafes and restaurants nearby, perfect for grabbing a bite or just relaxing. The location was ideal for soaking in the Maafushi vibe. A big plus was the really fast Wi-Fi; I had no issues using the internet, and uploading photos or streaming videos during my trip was completely stress-free, which I really appreciated. The pool was well-maintained and pleasant to use, and the panoramic views of Maafushi from there were absolutely stunning. My only minor gripe was that I didn't find the staff to be exceptionally friendly, which was a bit of a letdown. However, overall, the convenience and location of this accommodation made it a thoroughly satisfying stay."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Velana Beach Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed exploring Maafushi, walking through the charming streets, and experiencing the local island atmosphere. The snorkeling trip was definitely a highlight beautiful ocean views, marine life, and such a fun experience! Overall, I had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would happily come back again. "This is the furthest hotel from Bikini Beach, but it's about a 5-7 minute walk. The island itself is small, about 1200 meters by 500 meters. There's only one beach (Bikini Beach). The sea is full of dead coral and rocks, so bring slippers. The water is very shallow – up to 1 meter. The island offers many excursions, restaurants with live music, and shops. The hotel staff is very friendly. For breakfast, the hotel brings you your own food (there's no buffet). We initially thought the breakfast was meager, but then we moved to another island where the hotel was twice as expensive, and compared to that, I can say the breakfast here was fantastic."

"The room was clean and a reasonable size, bathroom was adequate, bed was a good size and comfortable. Good balcony with a sea view. The location is perfect right on the bikini beach. The reception was unmaned  and check-in takes place at another Kaani hotel which is less than 100 metres away. The reception was efficient friendly and helpful. The breakfast also took place at the sister hotel, unfortunately the breakfast was poor. Maafushi itself has lost the local island feel dominated by hotels but that does mean there are plenty of restaurants and mocktail options. As a local island no alcohol is available on the island but there is a floating bar if you get desperate for a few beers but probably only worth it if you are desperate"

"It should be the second hotel in Ma Fuji! The room was very clean, very large, the bed was very comfortable and all towels and bedding were clean. In addition to not a first-line sea view, the water heater faucet is a little difficult to control, it is very good! The front desk service and the owner are very helpful, and there are surprises with them for booking the sea, speedboat and other expenses!"

"I really liked the hotel 👍 Wonderful staff, we were lucky with the cleaning staff. They were helpful and always came quickly to help. Everything was perfect, the pool was wonderful, the trees were beautiful. There was also billiards. We didn't check anything about the spa. Despite the hotel being a bit run-down, I fell in love with it with all my heart. But on the downside: we arrived on Monday for check-in and no one from the hotel met us. The hotel itself didn't immediately realize we had paid for the room or when they would check us in. The entire management is located at another hotel by the beach. It's not very convenient to run back and forth with children, especially for an adult, after an illness on another island. And our mistake. They didn't check what was in the room. Upon checkout, we had to pay for an umbrella, which we didn't see or touch. Well, of course, our room smelled a bit damp and was a bit dark. But for me personally these are small things. The main thing is that I had the opportunity to swim."
