GGuest UserBefore leaving China, we contacted the manager of the hotel. He arranged for staff to pick us up at the airport and helped us buy speedboat tickets for 20 US dollars each. At the dock, the staff used a cart to carry all our luggage to the room upstairs. The service was thoughtful and enthusiastic. The room was large, the supplies were very new, and the living was very comfortable. There were 4 kinds of breakfast every morning, you could choose one or combine two breakfasts. The service staff was very responsive and enthusiastic. We were worried that there would not be enough water on the island and we needed to buy mineral water with US dollars, but the hotel provided unlimited drinking water. We were worried that there might be a lot of mosquitoes on the island. We communicated with the manager before checking in and asked him to spray insecticide in advance. There were no mosquitoes in the room. But be careful to turn off the bathroom light when you go to sleep, otherwise the mosquitoes outside will enter from the entrance of the bathroom. We chose to eat breakfast in the room, which avoided mosquitoes outside. There is a clothes drying rack outside the room. The roof is made of wood and is very unique. It rained every night and was sunny during the days we were here. The room is surrounded by residents and is very quiet, unlike the popular hotels that play rock music all day long. It is 10 minutes away from the beach and 10 minutes away from the pier. Overall, I am very satisfied. The owner is very enthusiastic and often chats with us to help us solve temporary difficulties.

GGuest UserHad a really nice stay here. You can tell the hotel is pretty new because everything still feels fresh and well taken care of. The rooms and common areas were clean and nicely set up. The staff were great throughout the stay, always polite and helpful whenever needed. The amenities were also solid and added to the overall comfort. One standout was the restaurant, easily one of the best on the island. The food was great, prices were reasonable, and it stays open late, which was really convenient. Overall, it was a smooth, hassle-free experience. Would definitely consider staying again.

MMayangSabSeaview is a must if you will be choosing any of the Kaani hotels' room. Seaview rooms are often in demand and on high prices but lucky enough to be able to book 2 days during peak season, same day. Staff and excursion teams are very helpful, theybreally do their best to take care of you. Team Octopus(excursion team) really takes care of you and get you nice pictures and videos of the excursion. 1 day tour is a must to get in Maafushi Island. Bfast is decent but dont eat too much if you will be doing the sharkbay tour as you will be proned to seasick. 5 days travel to Maldives as a whole is a enough.

GGuest UserThe room was absolutely satisfying – quite spacious with a large and comfortable double bed. The sea view from the balcony was excellent. The ground floor (G level) houses the restaurant, while what Trip.com calls the 'first floor' rooms (standard sea view rooms) are actually on the second floor. Deluxe sea view rooms, which are slightly more expensive, are on the third floor and above. The hotel guests are a mix of Europeans/Americans and Chinese. The front desk staff spoke English and I experienced no discrimination whatsoever. Some reviews mentioned that higher floors were given to Westerners, but perhaps they just booked a second-floor room to begin with. Actually, the second-floor rooms are also beautiful, perfectly level with the palm trees. Because Trip.com noted my booking as a 'first floor' room (which is actually the second floor, as the actual first floor is the 'G' level with only the restaurant and front desk, no rooms), I specifically requested a deluxe sea view room on a higher floor than the first, and I was given a room on the fifth floor with an amazing view. When arriving by speedboat, a dedicated staff member was there to pick us up. Although it was only about 200 meters, the hotel still used a golf cart for us and a three-wheeled vehicle for our luggage, delivering everything directly to our room after check-in. When departing, the front desk booked our speedboat tickets for us. The front desk manager personally saw us off to the golf cart and politely asked about our stay experience. The staff carried our luggage all the way to the boat. The service was truly superb.
On our first day, we went out to sea, and I left my underwear on the bed since I was wearing my swimsuit. When we returned, the room had been cleaned, and my pajamas and underwear were neatly folded and arranged on the bed. Because the room attendant was male, my daughter and I felt a bit embarrassed. For the following days, we put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, and after returning in the afternoon, we only requested fresh towels and water refills. The staff would still often ask if we needed our room cleaned – the service was truly outstanding.
The ground floor breakfast area has plenty of seating, and breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which is perfect for not delaying our excursions. There's a wide variety of food, including egg pancakes and corn pancakes that cater to Chinese tastes. I didn't pre-book dinner, but there was a good selection, costing $20 per person, and cash payment was accepted. There are many island excursions available, offering plenty of deep-sea experiences and photo opportunities. All in all, my experience at Kaani Hotel on Maafushi Island was fantastic, and I highly recommend it.

GGeraldeWent there in October, not peak, so the owner guy is so nice to fetch and send us to the jetty. He also let us checkout very late since there’s not much guests. Clean room and simple. Simple breakfast daily. Very honest to reco us tours that would certainly benefit for us.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and a reasonable size, bathroom was adequate, bed was a good size and comfortable. Good balcony with a sea view. The location is perfect right on the bikini beach. The reception was unmaned and check-in takes place at another Kaani hotel which is less than 100 metres away. The reception was efficient friendly and helpful. The breakfast also took place at the sister hotel, unfortunately the breakfast was poor.
Maafushi itself has lost the local island feel dominated by hotels but that does mean there are plenty of restaurants and mocktail options.
As a local island no alcohol is available on the island but there is a floating bar if you get desperate for a few beers but probably only worth it if you are desperate

BBam/every thing is so perfect in this place from the manager jack who is very professional in terms of hospitality no dull moment until the last day of our stay early check in late check out he even arranged all the tours and before we ask he already booked our speed boat going back to the airport to the front desk Envie Maricar David and to all the staffs they’ll let you feel very welcome like their family thank you jack and the rest of your team surely will come back and i also highly recommend this place best place ever..

AAykut TokgozThe room was very small, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, the location was good, the staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast and beach towels are provided from the nearby ICOM Sea View. The breakfast was a buffet and good. The hotel needs renovation. When you arrive by ferry, the staff greets you and, if you have luggage, they take it to the hotel by car and accompany you there. They also take your luggage to the ferry at the exit.
