Location is great, breakfast was decent, pool upstairs looked to be in pretty good shape. Overall, good for money and would stay again.
Unfortunately, the TV’s had power cords rated for other countries outlets, so the TV’s didn’t work at all;(

Good size rooms, very clean and comfortable bedding.
Good breakfasts in the form of a very generous buffet.
Pleasant hotel swimming pool dug into the rock by the sea with an outdoor bar and snack bar for lunch.
Very satisfactory stay overall.
However, a new decoration of the common areas and restaurants seems desirable to me, because for the moment the hotel is certainly comfortable and of good quality but without charm.

Fantastic 5* hotel. From the reception staff to the concierge, the kitchen staff and housekeeping, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is beautiful and clean and just a 5 minute walk to the main road where all the shops are.
The breakfast was fulfilling and we were spoilt for choice. Loved my stay here!

A staycation while living in Malta. The room was not too small, so it didn't feel stuffy at all, and the view of Valletta was perfect! The outdoor pool was especially pretty, and the breakfast was also good because there was a lot to eat.

You'd get what you've paid for. £19 for a single ensuite room worked well for me. Flight was delayed anyway and I've arrived after 1am (stayed just fir a night). It was very basic, but you will get a good sleep in clean space, with towels and some toiletries included. Sure they also offer better rooms (balcony, etc). There's a wee bar downstairs next to reception. Location very central (ferries to Valleta just across the road). Restaurants and bars nearby, also a wee 24/7 shop just a few yards away.

I stayed for several days at both the Victoria Hotel and visit the connected by the rooftop, their sister hotel The Palace. You have to start with the fact that these are not 4* and 5* hotels. Perhaps they were when they opened 20 years ago, today it is a maximum of 3* and 3.5*. They are simply dated, you can see it and smell it. If we are aware of it, almost everything else is ok: very friendly service (special thanks to the nice, elderly man at the reception), tasty and varied breakfasts, cozy swimming pools and rooftop bar. The quality of cleaning the rooms needs improvement, the location of the rooms is cruicial (avoid rooms from the driveway for deliveries, unless you like to hear knocks and screams from 6am onwards). And the price: if you manage to find an offer up to 100e / day, that's ok, above that is not worth it.

What a splendid hotel! We spent a wonderful holiday here. Amenities were perfect, and the location was great. Only 5 mins to the ferry terminal. Also many lovely restaurants nearby. Staff were kind and helpful. Highly recommend

The hotel was excellent. The rooftop pool and sunbathing area was open in February and immaculate. All staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. They made the trip for us. They helped us with travel and were on hand with any query. The staff at breakfast were exceptional.
The room was immaculate and a great size. The housekeeping staff were excellent. We loved the balcony.
The spa was lovely.
We loved the reception area and the coffee machine.
The location was very quiet apart from the nearby construction. The sea is very close, which we loved. It is not in the busy area - which is superb. It is on the beautiful bay. We loved everything about it. Thank you for making it such a memorable stay.

Hotel with good potential given the location and the rooms. Unfortunately on the first day we couldn't take a shower because brown water came out. We had a problem with the pipes, a pet attendant arrived to let the water out but after hours with the tap open they had only wasted a lot of water without solving the problem. At night and early in the morning I was woken up by the strong smell of cooking which probably came from the air conditioner. Nauseating smell! This problem has also not been resolved. When asking for help at reception they said there was nothing they could do! Sin

GGuest UserHotel location is good, economical and practical hotel, the hotel is not far from the ramp up there is a supermarket, down is the bus station, go to Valletta to cross the road by bus 13.13A, go to Gozo and comino Island is but the bus stop on the road is 222, but the distance is a bit far, it takes 1 hour, After getting off at the end, you can go to gozo Island for a cruise. You can buy a ferry ticket for the return trip. You can also go to the small pavilion on the right side of the road. You can go to comino and then go to Gozo's speedboat. You can arrange your own time and finally Gozo returns by yourself. Breakfast is average, there are not many dishes. Service staff is very friendly and young

RR Liangsuper relaxing and literally right next to the hotspot of paceville where all the restaurants and shopping centres are, quick car ride to valetta and sliema, service was amazing and room was super super clean. very new hotel so everything was new and clean, they gave us wooden toothbrushes and nice smelling soap, ventilation was good and air conditioning was powerful, no swimming pool or balcony unfortunately but breakfast included and was very yummy, good selection of breakfast foods, service was utterly impeccable. rooms are soundproof so you can’t hear the music of the clubs from the outside. stayed there for three nights and enjoyed each one. would definitely stay again

The guesthouse is well located close to restaurants and bus stop to explore the rest of the island. My partner and I definetely recommend to stay at The Maltese Sun once you're in Malta!

When you cross the road, you can see the unobstructed beauty of the beach. There is a fitness platform next to it, with many young handsome guys. You can watch the sea while exercising. Great!

GGuest UserThe Hotel was clean, unfortunately my room was very noisy as it was off the kitchen all I could hear was banging doors all morning, people talking & stomping around, there is also construction going on in neighbouring buildings. my bed was uncomfortable I could feel the springs in my back so had a pretty terrible sleep, this place needs some updating & modernising. The location was great walking distance to everything.
