Noboribetsu Hotels with Wifi

"Overall, my stay was very satisfying. The hotel is conveniently located near Noboribetsu Jigokudani, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The front desk and staff were all very friendly and professional, patiently assisting with any questions or issues. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. The hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I revisit the city."

"This is one of our best stays - everything is top notch from cleanliness, food, service and the onsen. We booked the type D room with a private onsen - both public and private ones are excellent. The staff can speak reasonable Engliah, very polite, helpful and professional. We like the lady (she is from Chiba) who serves us dinner and breakfast very much! The food quality is very good - well plated, fresh and flavourful. They accommodated my quite last min request for a non-seafood dietary. The ryokan is quiet and we love it a lot (feel more private too). Love the fact that they do not allow shoes into the Ryokan (they will keep them properly for you), as it keep the room and public area clean. We will plan to stay here again (for longer period!)."

"Great service from the hotel staff. Hotel room is a little old but it's clean and the bed is comfortable. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the Onsen. They rotate the left & right side of the onsen between male and female everyday. Which is great because you get to view on both side. They have a few different onsen 'pool' - sulfur , salt, iron, cold onsen. The outdoor onsen is best with the waterfall view. The dinner package is definitely worth the money. Beer is not included in the package but the local beer is a must try especially the ipa."

"You can book a shuttle bus to Sapporo for 2000 JPY round trip, which is much cheaper than taking public transport yourself. The only downside is that the departure time is a bit late and the return time is a bit early. However, it's still enough time to visit Jigokudani (Hell Valley) and the shopping street. The room was quite spacious and the view was nice. The onsen had a strong sulfur smell, and soaking outdoors during snowfall was an amazing experience. Dinner options were limited, but the taste was decent. Overall, it's good value for money."

"Oyado Kiyomizuya is a great value hotel in Noboribetsu. This traditional Japanese-style hotel features tatami rooms, though a bit dated. The facilities are clean, and the hot springs are a bit small. However, the hotel is not crowded, not catering to tour groups, and is quite quiet. It's a convenient walk to the hot springs district, and up the hill to Onumayu and Jigokudani is a short walk away. Both dinner and breakfast are served in your room, both in a stone-cooked setting. It was a truly memorable experience and well worth a return stay."

"## Facilities: This hotel is nearly 50 years old, so the facilities are quite dated. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, but the taste is mediocre. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from Jigokudani (Hell Valley), with an uphill section, so be mindful of slippery conditions if it's icy in winter. In the Sakura building, the rooms on the mountain side have a strong硫磺味 (sulfur smell) outside the window at night, and there are no air purifiers or humidifiers in the rooms. ## Service: The staff are friendly and provide good service. ## Hygiene: We booked a Japanese-style room, and the staff helped make the beds. However, the comforters had stains and a hole in the duvet. There were also unidentified stains on the tatami mats and walls. We reserved a private onsen (hot spring) bath, but the water was quite dirty, with other people's hair and unknown objects floating in it."

"Our first night in Hokkaido on November 3, 2025, was spent at Noboribetsu Yumoto Hotel. As soon as we stepped out of the car at the hotel entrance, the bell staff immediately loaded our luggage onto a cart and warmly welcomed us into the lobby. The front desk staff greeted us loudly, making us feel right at home. There was a young man at the front desk who was a student from China studying in Hokkaido, so our translation device wasn't even needed. He quickly helped us check in and enthusiastically told us about the location of the hotel's hot springs, usage precautions, and nearby tourist attractions. The service was excellent. We had booked a package including dinner and breakfast. Dinner that evening was served in our room by a staff member and consisted of a very generous Japanese meal with over ten hot and cold dishes, plus complimentary red wine and fruit. The next day's buffet breakfast was also abundant, with a great variety and delicious food. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from a bus stop with several routes, including one to Noboribetsu JR Station. Hell Valley is just a 10-15 minute walk to the right of the hotel entrance, and the Bear Park is also not far. In summary, Yumoto Hotel boasts a great location, excellent food, spacious rooms, comfortable sleep, Chinese-speaking staff, and a lobby with free various drinks and coffee. The different hot spring baths within the hotel were particularly relaxing and highly recommended!"

"For a weekend 2 day onsen break, this hotel is perfect.  Noboreitsu is a small place and the location of this hotel is very good (at the bottom of a hill right next to the bus terminus).  The single room itself is small but adequate albeit retro, but the onsen facilities are pretty good and despite the large commercial size of the hotel, the onset is never busy.  The breakfast and dinner buffets are decent, but as it barely changes, you will get bored pretty quickly after 2 days.  Jikokudani is less than 10 minutes away by foot - if you enjoyed this during the day, it is super-pretty in the evening and the evening walk makes a lovely post-dinner saunter (see photos).  You will pass the main shopping street on the way there and back (most shops close at around 9pm).   The only downside to the hotel is the sheer number of tour groups that check in/out.  4-6pm and early morning 8-10am are just rammed with tour buses/groups and the hotel lifts are packed as a result.  "

"The hotel rooms were large and comfortable, the food served with two meals a day was excellent, and the hotel provided a wide variety of clothing and amenities. The public baths were very clean. We will definitely visit again."

"The room is simple, but it has everything you need and is very clean. If you’re driving, you can stop in front of the café to unload your luggage, and the staff will guide you to the parking area. It’s a bit far, but still acceptable, especially since you’ll most likely not need to drive again until check-out once the car is parked. You can also use your room card to enjoy free access to the onsen at Dai-ichi Takimotokan across the street. Dai-ichi truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best hot springs. Just step out of the hotel and you’re already in the onsen street, and Noboribetsu Hell Valley is within walking distance as well. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby.
