Kamo District Hotels with Wifi

I actually found this hotel through recommendations on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). I saw the hotel offered a shuttle service and thought it might be a bit far from the station, but it's actually very close, just a few minutes' ride. Secondly, the hotel service was excellent! I have to give them a special shout-out for this. When my friend and I checked in, we had just come from the beach and still had sand on our feet. They immediately provided us with wet and dry towels to clean ourselves. On the second day, my friend and I were in a hurry to check out at 12 PM. After reaching the tram station, we realized we had left some things at the hotel. We called them to help us find them and asked them not to throw them away. We were planning to go back to the hotel ourselves to pick them up, but to our surprise, they drove them over to us directly! What's more, they initially said they couldn't find the items, but after finding them later, they made another trip to deliver them! Additionally, the view from the room was fantastic, and so was the private onsen! My friend and I went to the hot spring on the first basement floor. It was very smart; once we locked the door, a webpage showed that it was occupied. There's a smaller indoor onsen and a larger outdoor one. You can see the stars at night while soaking, with a refreshing cool breeze blowing. The air in Izu is also very fresh. All in all, we were very satisfied with the soak! This time, we only got to experience the hot spring on the first basement floor. I'll definitely come back next time to try the private onsen and the other hot spring too! We had a truly wonderful stay at Ittouan. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They noticed us from far away and immediately came to help carry our luggage. One of the staff members, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and made communication very easy. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but I would like to thank her again. We booked both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh and the variety was impressive. Every dish was different and beautifully prepared. However, for two women like us, the portions were honestly quite generous — even sharing one meal between two people might have been enough! The location is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Kawazu Station, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting the Kawazu cherry blossoms. It is also very close to the beautiful coastline, so the surroundings are lovely. Our room had a private onsen bath where we could soak while enjoying the view of cherry blossoms, which was a truly special experience. There is also a larger private bath available by reservation (free of charge). We also tried the hot stone spa, which was incredibly effective in relieving the fatigue after my marathon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would love to come back again in the future, hopefully with my family. 一灯庵で本当に素晴らしい滞在をさせていただきました。最初から最後までとても心温まる体験でした。 到着したとき、スタッフの皆さまは遠くから私たちに気づいてくださり、すぐに荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださいました。その心遣いにとても感動しました。特に英語がとても上手な可愛らしい女性スタッフの方がいらっしゃって、丁寧に対応してくださり安心して滞在することができました。残念ながらお名前を伺うのを忘れてしまいましたが、この場を借りて改めて感謝をお伝えしたいです。 夕食と朝食の両方をお願いしましたが、お料理はどれも本当に素晴らしかったです。食材はとても新鮮で、品数も多く、一つ一つ丁寧に作られているのが伝わってきました。すべて違う料理で楽しませていただきました。ただ、私たち二人（女性）には少し量が多く、とても贅沢なボリュームでした。 立地もとても良く、河津駅まで無料の送迎があるので河津桜を見に行くのにもとても便利でした。また、美しい海岸も近く、散歩するだけでもとても気持ちの良い場所でした。 お部屋の温泉では桜を眺めながらゆっくり入ることができ、とても特別な時間を過ごすことができました。また、無料で予約できる貸切風呂もあり、温泉を存分に楽しめました。さらにホットストーンスパも利用しましたが、マラソンを走った後の疲れが本当に和らぎ、とてもリラックスできました。 スタッフの皆さまの温かいおもてなしのおかげで、忘れられない滞在になりました。ぜひまた家族と一緒に訪れたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました。

The view from the hotel can be said to be really great! Dinner is also delicious, especially the appetizer drink is very special, quite delicious. But breakfast tastes more general. The hotel's facilities have also been around for a certain year, clean but not so modern. The service is still very good, specially arranged for a little brother from the UK to communicate in English barrier-free. Where you feel bad: About 13 rooms in total? There are about 10 rooms and the view in the lobby, and the other three rooms will be much worse and the sunset cannot be seen. Our room was unfortunately arranged in one of the three rooms that was worse. The location of dinner, our dining room is directly on a large wall in the middle, with a small window on both sides, it is difficult to enjoy the sea view, but fortunately it is dark early. But we noticed that Japanese guests were basically arranged in a full sea view dining room. Breakfast - also arranged in a dining room with sea views blocked. The overall hotel is very beautiful and the service is very good. But the room, dinner and breakfast three are very unfortunate to be arranged in a bad view, it is difficult to make people not to think about whether the hotel takes priority to Japanese guests.

Traveling as a family of three, we booked a triple room. The room size was quite generous for Japan, and it was very clean. The room we were given had a partially obstructed view, which was a shame, as the sea view would have been beautiful otherwise. Laundry is free, but surprisingly, the sun loungers with umbrellas by the pool cost extra – first time I've encountered that! Breakfast was around 200+ (Yen, I assume), which isn't great value for money, but it's a resort hotel, so it's acceptable. You can book dinner at the hotel or go to Kawazu Station, though there aren't many options there. There's a free shuttle bus, with the last one around 4:35 PM. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay, perfect for a relaxing vacation.

This hotel clearly puts a lot of thought into its cuisine. The variety of ingredients and the diversity of species are the richest and highest quality I've ever experienced. The hotel even displays kitchen awards and news reports. In addition to the large public bath, the onsen (hot springs) have seven complimentary private baths available on a first-come, first-served basis. Combined with the view of the vast ocean, it's the perfect way to enjoy the experience.

We booked the largest room type, but I think the sea view might actually be better in the standard rooms, as our room was located right on the far side. The lobster was pretty mediocre, so I wouldn't recommend booking the set meal. However, the breakfast and dinner buffets were quite good. I'd suggest going to the hot springs around 9 AM after breakfast; you'll practically have the place to yourself as it closes at 10 AM and doesn't reopen until the afternoon.

This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are  the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.  Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.

The location right in front of the sea offered absolutely fantastic views. However, there were some signs of deterioration, such as doors that wouldn't close due to rust and areas where the concrete was peeling off, which was a bit worrying. The food and service were excellent, so the facilities were the only slight disappointment.

I sincerely recommend Hokkawa Onsen Hotel! Our stay completely exceeded our expectations. The hot spring water was incredibly soothing. I highly recommend trying the private onsen, which only costs an additional 2200 JPY (about 90 RMB). It's perfect for two people and offers fantastic value for money. The hotel's free public onsen and the outdoor open-air bath were also super enjoyable! The hotel's public lounge area was very thoughtful, with free cola, various teas, oranges, and coffee available for guests. I must especially commend the elderly gentleman at the front desk – he was exceptionally kind and provided excellent service! The location is superb, right next to the popular and top-rated ryokan ”Bousui”! While Bousui can cost anywhere from 3000 to 5000 RMB a night, this hotel is a fantastic alternative, costing only around 700-800 RMB during the off-season and just over 900 RMB during peak times. It's just a few minutes' walk to the stunning natural Kurone Iwa Onsen by the sea, which hotel guests can use for free, and the views are truly breathtaking. The nearest Lawson convenience store is about 1.1 km away, a 2-minute taxi ride. The hotel also sells instant noodles for 200-300 JPY, which is similar to outside prices, making it very convenient for stocking up on supplies. Our room in the main building was a generous 50 square meters, super spacious! The lobby environment was comfortable, the room was impeccably clean, and the Wi-Fi speed was excellent. The bedding had no unpleasant odors, and walking barefoot on the floor felt perfectly fine. The bathroom had a wet-dry separation, with a very practical layout. I honestly feel this place is underrated and fully deserves a rating of 4.8-4.9. Our entire stay was incredibly pleasant, and we will definitely come back!

If you don't mind the aging of the facilities and the lack of cleanliness, and only prioritize the ocean view, feel free to book this hotel. The stunning ocean view, visible from the curtains, is its biggest advantage. While it's not cheap, it's not expensive in that area. Before booking, I knew this was a very old hotel, and other guests had mentioned the grimy windows, but I still booked it because I valued the stunning ocean view. After checking in, I felt that even a first-tier ocean view couldn't offset the negative experience I had with the basics and hygiene. For example, the washbasin leaked very slowly, and after washing my face, all the foamy water would accumulate in the basin, taking a long time to drain out, making it look filthy. The bathtub, on the other hand, was a complete waste; I didn't dare use it. There were all sorts of unidentified marks on the low table in the room. I suspect it was from guests dining in the room with two meals a night. There was also an unidentified odor in the room, a bit like cigarettes but not quite, possibly related to the dining experience. We had three beds, two single beds, and a mattress on the other. The quilt was a floral quilt, a rare sight in China. The fabric was poor quality, and most importantly, it made me itch when I used it. I guess it hadn't been cleaned in ages and had simply been piled up in the guest room closet. The quilt on the single bed was the hotel's standard solid-color quilt, so my husband and I shared the single bed for both nights. Also, I don't know if there was rust or something inside the water dispenser; I was afraid to drink the water after seeing it. Let's talk about the service. When I checked in, I saw an elderly man and woman at the front desk who were probably over 80 years old. We communicated with each other through translation software. Check-in went smoothly, but I booked a standard double room with four tatami mats and no bed. I didn't want a bed, but I was still assigned a room with a bed. This was considered an upgrade, but no one told me about this. I didn't want to embarrass the elderly man and woman, so I didn't mention it to them. When I checked out, I told the front desk that I needed a shuttle bus. I saw the front desk went to find a colleague, and it turned out that the elderly man was washing coffee cups. He dropped his work and took us to Atagawa Station. So although there were few waiters, I felt the service was okay those two days.
