Aomori City Hotels with Wifi

"The hotel is close to the station and not too far from the attractions. There's a street downstairs with convenience stores, 100-yen shops, izakayas, and bars, so the location is great. The room wasn't particularly small, which was nice. There's a water dispenser right outside the elevator, which I really liked, otherwise, I'd have to buy water from the convenience store and carry it up."

"Hotel Relabo boasts an excellent location right next to the JR station. You can take an elevator directly from the station's third floor, via a connecting passage, to the hotel's reception on the fourth floor – super convenient! A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs, and they also offer yoga activities, though we didn't participate since we don't speak Japanese. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the hot springs for free. Female guests are escorted into the bathhouse by staff, which feels very safe. After a relaxing soak, you can grab an ice pop or head to the observation deck to enjoy some biscuits and apple juice while taking in the views – truly the essence of a laid-back vacation. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly during breakfast, which was Western-style and absolutely delicious."

"The hotel is right by the sea and quite close to the JR station, within walking distance of both the JR station and Nebuta House. It's also very convenient for getting to Hirosaki. The room was a bit small, and there was a price hike during cherry blossom season, but that's understandable since rooms are hard to come by then. It's really affordable during the off-season."

"Staff are friendly. Rooms are true to pictures as shown in booking page. I managed to get here with their city bus before picking up a rental car. There's a tonkatsu place just across the street. Convenient spot to settle in."

"I've always been a fan of the Daiwa Roynet brand, having stayed at their hotels in Kyoto, Kobe, Aomori, and other cities. This time, I accidentally left my iPad at the hotel. Trip.com staff were very proactive in helping me contact them, and the hotel was also very responsive, agreeing to arrange shipment after the Japanese holidays. I hope to receive my iPad smoothly."

"(+) Had a comfortable 2-night stay here. The lobby and lounge are very comfy, our room was spacious with a nice view of Aomori city and the sea! Would recommend guests to check-in before 5PM so you can try several apple juices from the lounge. Breakfast was great with many local dishes including the famous Kaiyaki-miso and Ika-menchi. The staff were very nice, professional, and accommodating. Would love to stay here again next time. Parking space is also a plus point (1,000 JPY/ night) (-) The location is somewhat far from the station, 20 mins by foot or 5 mins by car. Taking a taxi from Aomori station costed us about 1,100 JPY."

"The hotel is about 600 meters from Aomori Station. It's a bit inconvenient if you're dragging luggage, but it's very close to the product館 (local specialty center). The room rate isn't expensive, though the bathroom facilities are a bit old, and the hot and cold water taps on the sink are separate. The breakfast is decent, but I feel it's not as extensive as it was a year ago. The worst part was the electric kettle in the room. It didn't automatically turn off when the water boiled, so it boiled all my mineral water dry, which was a waste."

"We stayed for 5 nights and were very satisfied with the value for money. We experienced the family bath and hot springs, and booked two rooms that included breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed delicious Japanese food every day. The problem arose on the last day during breakfast. About 10 minutes before the 9 AM closing time, my mother, trying to be considerate of the restaurant staff, poured her remaining coffee into a paper cup, intending for our family of four to clear our dishes and leave. At that moment, an old man, leaning with both hands on the kitchen counter, loudly shouted something unintelligible at us. Our entire family was startled, confused, and didn't understand what he was saying. As foreigners who don't speak Japanese, we couldn't comprehend him. After hearing him repeatedly shout loudly, we guessed we should pour the coffee back into the cup and left. Other guests were present, and this experience was the worst, ruining our family's impression of Japan. Shortly after, we tried to ask the old man about it, but he pretended not to understand English and avoided conversation, retreating into the kitchen. If there's a communication barrier, they should use a friendly translation app or clearly guide guests with actions instead of a kitchen staff member standing like a king with arms outstretched, shouting. Also, it was uncomfortable to have restaurant staff constantly watching how many plates people took, probably because individual dishes were served one by one. It's been a while since our trip ended, but that incident still pops into my mind. My family also talks about it. I hope they don't ruin tourists' enjoyable trips with rigid and inappropriate behavior. We felt disrespected as foreigners. I briefly explained this to the front desk using a translator, and a female staff member repeatedly offered polite apologies. Due to our departure schedule, we couldn't speak with the old man again or receive an apology, which is probably why we won't be returning to Japan."

We were assigned a high-floor room on the 12th floor with a beautiful ocean view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is well-equipped with excellent hot spring facilities, including both indoor and outdoor baths as well as a sauna — a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Aomori. Hotel breakfast is delicious and many choices. We also appreciated the practical amenities provided. The laundry machines are free to use, with a 30-minute wash cycle. The dryer costs only 100 yen for 20 minutes, which is very convenient for longer stays. The room also features a large, modern TV, and the hair dryer provided is a premium Refa brand, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with great onsen facilities and thoughtful amenities. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Aomori."
