"Facilities: Average. I can't understand how this place made it onto a luxury hotel list, let alone ranking first. To give you an idea, the hardware quality is somewhere between a '某季' and a '某庭' (likely referring to budget/mid-range hotel chains). Plus, the soundproofing is poor, and the shower door has such a big gap that the entire bathroom floor gets soaked after a shower. The breakfast was okay, I guess, but considering it was mid-April, not a holiday, not Buddha's Birthday, not the 1st or 15th of the ***** month – basically a very ordinary day with some attractions closed – it's practically the off-season. For over 400 yuan, the breakfast standard is truly unacceptable. Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Great location. Lots of restaurants nearby and very convenient to take the free bus to attractions like Shuxiang Temple and Dai Luoding. Service: I'll just mention the good part: a young man helped with my luggage after check-in. I'd rather not complain about anything else, so the hotel doesn't penalize its staff. Overall, the experience was terrible and the value for money is extremely low."

"Staying at the Marriott in Wutaishan is really convenient. There's a shuttle right after the visitor center, and every morning there are three scheduled buses that go to Shuxiang Temple and Dailuo Ding. At other times, there's also a shuttle that can take you to the bus station. The sliced noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious. I do have a criticism about the restaurant receptionist's service, though. On the day I checked in, I wanted to buy a coffee (there was a 9.9 deal on an app), but they directly said their coffee wasn't good and directed me to Starbucks instead. Fine, I didn't take advantage of that deal. Later that evening, I went to the restaurant to order food, and the supervisor said it was a buffet that night. I then asked at the front desk and found out that room service was available for à la carte orders. Seriously, as a restaurant supervisor, shouldn't they have some service awareness?!"

"This newly opened hotel boasts an unbeatable location, just a stone's throw from Guanghua Temple, and there's a small path leading to Pusa Ding. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions. The service here is exceptional. They have a shuttle service specifically for guests heading to the bus stop for Dailuoding, which is a lifesaver after a long day of hiking! What's more, the owner has an amazing memory; he remembers all his guests. If he sees you on the road, he'll even offer you a ride. Could anything be better than that? As for the rooms, being a new hotel, they are spotless and meticulously cleaned. We had a very comfortable stay. Some rooms have slightly obstructed views, but it's not a big deal. They have windows, though they are quite close to the neighboring building, but it didn't affect our stay. Just around the corner from the hotel, there's a small convenience store, which is perfect for grabbing little odds and ends. Finding a supermarket in a scenic area like this is quite a challenge, so this was a real bonus."

"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! It's located within the scenic area, quite peaceful, and offers breathtaking views of the mountains right across. It might be a small guesthouse, but it's packed with amazing technology. And their little restaurant? The food is absolutely delicious! I have to commend them on the portion sizes – they were huge! The owner said they want to make sure every customer is satisfied. Overall, it was a truly perfect experience!"

"Full score stay experience! This hotel made me completely fall in love with travel The most surprising discovery of this trip is this treasure hotel! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was moved by the warm smile of the staff, and the check-in was efficient and intimate. The room is far more than expected, the new Chinese style is elegant and atmospheric, the bedding is soft like a cloud, and it is a good night's sleep. The most surprising thing is the location, very close to the core scenic spot, and you can eat authentic local snacks nearby at night, hot pot restaurants, breakfast shops, and you don't have to worry about eating. I will definitely stay here next time, highly recommended!"

"I originally booked a basic room at this guesthouse, but upon arrival, the owner surprised me with a complimentary upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious and bright, with a warm and elegant wood-style decor. The amenities were comprehensive, from a high-definition TV to a smart toilet, showing attention to detail. The owner's warm hospitality was also a wonderful touch. The surrounding streets and alleys are home to many authentic local eateries. A short walk in the evening reveals lively food stalls and late-night eateries, making it convenient for breakfast in the morning. "During my self-driving trip to Wutai Mountain, I chose the Bernard Hotel next to the visitor center. The overall experience was exceptionally comfortable. The parking lot was spacious, and charging stations were conveniently located 100 meters away. The environment was quiet and serene, spotlessly clean, with dust-free rooms and dry, tidy bedding. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite, and check-in was efficient and quick. They even thoughtfully arranged transportation to the visitor center. The rooms were spacious and airy, fully equipped, and the heating was excellent, making the low mountain temperatures bearable. The breakfast and lunch selection was plentiful, with fresh ingredients. Overall, it offered excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Wutai Mountain!"

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower. The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly. The hotel is also close to the central bus station. The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were. She then helped us to get our partial redunds. And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong. She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away. So top marks for her customer service The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast ) We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel
