Hsinchu Hotels with Wifi

Booked at about 10pm. Staff are friendly and patient. The hotel is quite old. The room is quite big. As they only left with 2 queen size beds and within our budget so we just grabbed for a night stay. The room is not very well lighted. They have a balcony and there is a stationary bike. They provide toiletries and they have separate shower and bathtub. The hotel is just opposite the police station so it’s super safe. Nearby hotel has got 2 temples. There is a KTV and convenience stores too. But we note that not many shops are opened even at around 9am.

Food is excellent, they offered a 300NTD voucher x2 during my stay. the first room wasn't ideal as the room has smoke smell and I requested to change room which they offered and it was great. Room has good sound proofing windows second room I stayed at #2003 is near lift has updated modern look. they have morning shuttle to science park 8am, 8.30am, 9am which is great. they have evening shuttle to Big City mall which is also a ++ otherwise would have to spend 250 NTD for taxi which is expensive.

Front desk staff was excellent! I had a couple of inquiries and they not only answered them but also gave suggestions. Room was a good size and well maintained. TV programs is well balance with English channels.

We were unaware of a policy until we arrive at the motel and it is inconvenient for stay more than a night. This policy was not flagged on the booking platform. Staying for 3 nights mean we are to check in from 6pm and check out next day 12 noon, return 6pm to check in and check out again next noon, total 3 times. A service fee (for the 6 hours 12noon to 6pm) is charged in order to keep the room thru the day for the 3 night stay avoiding the daily check in and out. This said to applies for 2pax room and is addition to the booking paid on the booking platform. We picked this motel for convenience of parking and walk up to the room. Everything was good in the room apart the narrow stairway carrying our luggage and the floor better off wearing a slippers. Breakfast is ok with a small spread of buffet and few additional items you can order from the kitchen.

There is no parking lot. Parking here is free after 10 o'clock. There is a fee at 8 o'clock in the morning. This time we came to Hsinchu for a short stay for a meeting, so it is a very cost-effective hotel. It is near the train station and close to the business district. Even if you forget to wear your tie, there is a hotel nearby.

Walking distance to Cheng Huang temple where can get a lot of food there. Kids also enjoy the children playroom and parent also can do some sport like table tennis, gym and swimming

There is nothing to complain about at this price during holidays, but the hotel is under construction recently. The construction is very noisy early in the morning and it is basically impossible to sleep well. The hotel itself is not flexible in adjusting the itinerary, and basically there is no refund once the reservation is made. If you are afraid of noise, you must consider whether you can tolerate it. The hot water heats up very quickly. The nearest 7-11 is about 300 meters away, but they sell some basic instant noodles and drinks on the first floor, so you can buy some if you are really hungry.

第四次入住 設備年代感較明顯 但地理位置優越是不爭的事實 附近吃喝玩樂都有 可在下午3點半入住 較一般汽旅方便 傍晚外出時告知櫃檯人員房間的蓮蓬頭有點狀況 櫃檯人員有確認是否允許工作人員 在我不在房內時進去處理 這個詢問相當貼心 晚上回房間時已更換成新的蓮蓬頭 浴室的門是電動門 按鍵並不是很精準 浴室內牆上的電視控制按鍵故障 無法調整音量與選台 早餐選擇多樣 送餐也準時 下次若再來新竹辦事 還是會選擇入住 但若是有攜伴 可能會選擇設備更好的住宿選項

Pros: Breakfast is perfect, very good combination of western and *********. Location is perfect if you are visiting Jiao Tong University and Tsinghua University. Only a couple of bus stops. Very authentic local restaurants around. Employees are willing to help. Free soda in the fridge, decent gym. Good balcony view in certain rooms. Cons: My room was clean but shower head was loose, although I was able to fix it myself, it made the bathroom a chaos. Shampoo and bodywash are not good considering it's a 4-star. Electronic bidet that cleans you but doesn't dry you out... public baths could be a good place to relax, but it only open 4-10pm, which is not friendly to travellers who only stay for the night.

I was looking for temporary accommodation for the night, but luckily I could book it online. When I arrived, the on-site service staff was very friendly and told me that parking subsidies were available. great! The room is simple and clean, and the bed set is good for sleeping. The check out time at 12 o'clock is very good. Worth recommending.
