"Highlights: ✨ This hotel is incredibly photogenic, especially the Crystal Chapel on the 5th floor. Its pristine glass structure, long white walkway, and the mirror-like pool perfectly reflecting the building's silhouette create a serene atmosphere. It's an absolute must-visit photo spot! ✨ The location is excellent. It's about a 5-minute walk to Big City shopping mall and a 15-minute walk to Chenghuang Temple Night Market. The parking lot is spacious with plenty of spots, making it easy to park. 🛋️ Accommodation Experience: • Mysterious Odor: The most unpleasant part was the inexplicable odor that occasionally emanated from the room or hallway, which was a real drawback. • Bed Comfort: The room's hardware was decent, but the bed and pillows were quite soft and lacked sufficient support. 🍳 Breakfast Performance: • Overall, the breakfast selection was quite rich, featuring ice cream, drinks, and desserts. I particularly recommend the freshly fried sunny-side-up eggs and omelets – they were excellent! Other hot dishes were pretty standard. The room design felt a bit dated, and the power outlets were in rather odd places. Details like chipped wood or tiles at the corners of door sills were noticeable, but this is also reflected in the room rate."

"For the price, this place was very disappointing. First surprise was when checking in, you're told that you have to hand your keys in whenever you leave. I asked why, and they said they don't want people copying the keys, but it certainly doesn't make me feel my stuff is safe when I don't have the key. Why they couldn't use a key card system like every other hotel, I don't know, but they wouldn't have that problem if they did. In any case, the locks are terrible. Like the kind for locking a bathroom door, it'd probably open if you rattled hard enough! The room itself clearly hasn't been redecorated in years, and looks tatty and everything is old and outdated. Worryingly, clearly there's a water leak from the bathroom and the corner of the wall on the bedroom side showed obvious water damage and looked damp. I think the room had been cleaned well enough but everything was so old, I didn't really want to touch anything. There was no quilt cover, just a sheet under it, so who knows how dirty that might have been. Likewise, there was a water cooler in the room rather than supplying bottled water, but I didn't feel confident trying it and bought bottled water from the shop instead. I think they'd tried to make an effort to make the rooms colourful. That was a focus of the room pictures and also they have photos of different room styles downstairs in the breakfast room too, but it just looks a bit weird. In my room, it looks like they found a random outdoors picture on the internet and copy pasted some random English text over the top. So, there's a full wall sized advert for a foreign internet company. It just looks tacky on a bedroom wall! The shower is over a bath, which is pointless as the bath is about 1m long and so nobody would fit in it comfortably anyway. Of course, there's no shower curtain so everything in the wet room gets soaked when you have a shower. Also, there's a sign by the toilet paper dispenser telling you not to put paper in the toilet, so I put my dirty paper in the bin provided. Was quite shocked that they don't clean the room daily as it wasn't a pleasant smell a day later. The breakfast was very basic Chinese style. I've enjoyed the Chinese breakfast in every other hotel I've stayed here, but here it's basically only rice, tofu and pickled vegetables. The location is good though. Close to the train station, and so near to all the sights as well."

"Putting 1-star for facilities due to water ponding in standing bath area in room 307. Water doesn't flow down the drain. Both foot will be soaked in water while showering which is quite disgusting. It's a known problem (as the flooring is not done probably) and not fixed by the hotel. Water remains even in the next morning. We questioned the recept staff if this is a known issue but she did not answer. So, avoid room 307. 5-stars for all other area. We got a room changed and the bath area was bigger and no more water ponding issue in standing bath area."

Pros: The staff's cleaning is meticulous, there are three elevators so you rarely have to wait, and the toilets have bidets, which is fantastic. Cons: The facilities are undeniably old, the shower curtain in the bathtub needs improvement, and I found it inconvenient that there wasn't a restroom available while waiting at the front desk. Despite these points, the location is superb. You can quickly walk to the central areas like markets and temples, and there are wonderful historical buildings nearby. You can even get to the nearest convenience store without an umbrella on a rainy day. For those who prioritize location, I highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel's location is excellent; as soon as you step out, you're surrounded by shops, which is super convenient. There are tons of claw machine arcades nearby, and you can easily grab snacks and drinks. I really enjoyed my stay here for a few days! We arrived early before check-in, but there was a coffee machine and tea available in the lobby, so we could wait comfortably. Luckily, they had a room ready for us, allowing us to check in early. The only minor issue was a slight odor from the bathroom, nothing too strong, just noticeable occasionally."

"I chose this place for a short business trip primarily because it offered parking. I overlooked the 6 PM check-in time, so I had to go out and kill some time before returning. I had originally picked it thinking it was closer to Fukutang Ganban-yoku (rock bath). There are hardly any shops or amenities nearby, and it's located on a very busy road. The price wasn't particularly cheap either. At night, you can feel subtle tremors, almost like mini-earthquakes, caused by the frequent passage of large trucks. Earplugs are provided, but if you're sensitive to noise or have trouble sleeping, I strongly advise you to avoid this hotel. Personally, I was so utterly exhausted that I just collapsed into bed and slept, so it didn't bother me too much!"
