"I typically don't write reviews but the service was so good here during my stay that I'm making an exception.
1. The hotel staff picked us up at the train station upon our arrival, and also took us back there at the end of our stay, at no cost.
2. Every member of the staff has a great attitude, always smiling and ready to lend you a helping hand.
3. We didn't use them, though you can do your laundry (both washing machines and dryers are available). Detergent is free to use.
4. Breakfast is only worth it if included.
5. Rooms are clean and reasonably large. Two chairs are available even in the most basic rooms.
6. If you intend to travel outside the city, you can ask the front desk for recommendations, they'll put you in touch with a driver for hire.
All in all, it's extremely good value for money. It's the first time I experienced such type of service when the hotel room is only 200RMB a night!"

The room is spacious, the window is facing Lingfeng Mountain, the bathroom has a large water volume and is hot, the bath towel is super thick and comfortable (I want to buy it for my own use), there is a laundry room (washer + dryer). The downside is that the decoration is old and the lighting is not bright enough. The room is dim. The water on the other floor will massage."

This time I lived in a room on the fifth floor. The staff had reminded me that it would be noisy before I checked in. The sound of the central air conditioner was really noisy. Service: Very attentive. A shuttle service was provided upon arrival, and the hotel staff were also very friendly. The three of us booked a twin room, and they gave us an extra breakfast voucher, which was delicious.
Facilities: Free ice cream and coffee were available at the front desk, and the exhibition area on the first floor was also very interesting. The owner is a marathon runner and even hosts running challenges. Ailian Lake Park is nearby, and the air is beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Hezhou. I hope the owner's hotel expands nationwide! 😆😆😆

The dishes she makes are natural plant extracts and taste good. Affordable price! Oh, Huangyao Ancient Town is really a place with simple folk customs, beautiful scenery and picturesque mountains and rivers. It is a rare civilized and pure land far away from the worldly world. Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great!
Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

Since we were going back to Nantian, the hotel owner Abu had already turned on the dehumidification in the three rooms we booked in advance. The most important thing was to provide disposable plastic slippers and toilet mats, so that I, who have a slight mysophobia, could really enjoy the stay. Experience what it means to feel at home! Speaking of service, the hotel will help with moving and introduce the scenic spots along the way, so that an unknown person followed us all the way to the hotel and asked for a business card. I will stay here again in the future because the service is so attentive. I saw the legendary three peacocks and a blue cat named Maharashtra, who was very dear to me. The Niu Ge breakfast shop next to the hotel is really delicious. Visitors who come to stay must try the fried silkworm glutinous rice and water chestnut noodles! Overall, this is a hotel with good service and warmth. I was in a hurry this time. I arrived at night and left the next morning. I did not fully explore the beauty of the ancient town. I will still stay here next time I come to Huangyao.
PS: The camellias in the hotel courtyard are blooming very brightly, and they even have a fragrance!

This time I stayed very well. But at three or four o'clock in the night, water seemed to be dripping. When I woke up, it was gone. sleep! Overall it's pretty good, the breakfast is pretty good too, the kids love it, there are no restaurants near the hotel, it's very convenient!

There are hospitals, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. next door. There is also indoor parking. For tourists, staying outside is indeed more convenient than staying in the scenic area. DDi TanThis charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons.
The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.
