"Hotel is great in general. Location is excellent. It’s just a 5 min walk from Vienna Central Station (Wien Hbf), you can literally see the station from the hotel. Metro station (Keplerplatz) is just 10 min walk from the hotel. Self check in, room is neat, most importantly noise blocking is pretty good at night. They tidy your room every three nights, but you could always ask for a fresh set of towels at the reception."

I told you on the day I checked in because I would stay two more days than I expected, but it didn't work.
I had to get down there and look at my unpleasant eyes.

The hotel is situated right next to a metro station and a mall with a lot of restaurant options.

"The location was excellent. Just right across to the opposite side of the street. Really recommended for pp who is traveling in the city or to other countries nearby.
Air conditioning was available in the room during the time we traveled in mid-October. The only downside was that there wasn't an electric kettle in the room. But the staff at the bar area on the ground floor is really helpful to provide."

"Very convenient location, next to the western railway station and within walking distance from the city center, many trams are also 3-5 minutes away.
This is a large hotel, and probably that is why it is as soulless as everything large.
I was prepared for the strange layout of the room, it was a surprise that the light by the mirror in the bathroom was completely dim - it was not clear how to put on makeup.
The room was generally somehow uncomfortable. Before this, we stayed for 5 nights in another hotel literally on the next street, it was cozy and soulful there.
The breakfasts are also lackluster. Trip.com says that breakfast is free for children under 17, when paying at the reception they said half the price, I had to show the reservation. Many thanks to Mariella, she sorted out the situation and helped print out train tickets upon check-out.
In general, the hotel is not bad, it looks like a large business hotel, like in Japan, but still we are in the center of wonderful Vienna and we want a slightly different vibe)"

"The room is really decent and clean. The kitchen is highly functional to us, except that there is no Kettle for boiling water. The bathroom is very clean and big enough. The one for all shampoo, body wash could be improved. The room is quiet at night. We also love the self service of getting bed mattress by ourselves. Check-in and check-out have never been so easy. The idea of providing salt, sugar and oil at the common area for shared use is so fantastic, and I have never seen this excellent service in other European Hotels or Hostels. It is very close to the Train Station, and 4 mins walk from the nearest supermarket Lidl !! The instant email replies from the CS service are also warm and friendly. They provide utensils when requested and facilitate our cooking a lot! We would recommended this hotel to our friends ;) Thank you very much"

I saw the hotel at the exit of Längenfeldgasse subway station. It takes about 4 minutes to walk to the hotel. It only takes 20 minutes to take the subway to the city center. The transportation is very convenient. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The continental breakfast buffet is not too many, but it is enough to eat and delicious; the hotel room is about 97% new, with a large double bed. Although the room is not big, it can accommodate 2 24-inch suitcases; there are small tables, long seats, 55-inch TVs, electric kettles, hangers and small safes, etc., but there is no small refrigerator, which is not very convenient. There are enough power sockets, the sheets and quilts are white, clean and comfortable, the central air conditioner is cold and quiet, and the WIFI speed is fast. The toilet and bathroom are separated into dry and wet areas, and there is a standing bathtub. The tap water is clear and can be boiled for drinking. The toilet is clean and drains quickly. The hot water in the shower is OK. This hotel is cost-effective and I will consider it again when I come to Vienna."

As someone who’s traveled extensively, I’ve seen my share of beautiful hotels. Many shine on the surface, but very few have what this place has a soul. And that soul comes from the people.
What struck me most during my stay wasn’t just the elegance or the comfort. It was the warmth, the attention to detail, and the sense of care from every single person I met. From the housekeepers to the receptionists, the breakfast staff to the management, every interaction felt meaningful.
In the hotel industry, teamwork is everything. It’s like the gears of a watch. Every single cog, no matter how small or large, plays a vital role. If one is missing, the clock stops ticking. And at The Ritz-Carlton, every cog turns perfectly.
Breakfast, for instance, was an experience I won’t forget. Their Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t just about the dish. It was the way it was served, with care, with pride, and with the intent to make my morning special.
To everyone who works here: thank you. You’re not just doing a job, you’re creating moments that stay with people. You turned my stay into something I’ll look back on with a smile, and that’s not something that happens everywhere.

欢欢乐鱼10/10 rating. The quality of a top-notch hotel is shown in a crisis. I had a fall and head injury at the hotel, and their handling has been exemplary. Thanks to Mrs. Trivanovic who administered first aid and contacted ambulance. Thanks to Ms. Anica Bauer and the front office team for checking with me every two hours to ensure I’m alright as I was a senior traveling alone. The reception picks up the call immediately whenever I feel dizzy and insecure. I feel very safe at the hotel. As I don’t speak German, special gratitude to Anica, who helped with buying medication, follow-up communication with the ambulance and hospital, translation, administration and all my needs, always responsive, thoughtful and patient.
This aside, the hotel has direct train from airport, the breakfast is outstanding with even diet jam, delicious omelette, tomato juice., etc, the room is spacious. Highly recommended.

Hotel service is OK, conversion head is free to borrow. It is all rooms that want a view of the Danube River, you have to add money!
European hotel rooms are the same size, there is a shopping mall downstairs, and it is OK to buy fast food.
DM supermarkets can buy daily necessities!

--Nancy-Austria Trend Hotel Schönbrunn Wien was absolutely gorgeous. The ambience was warm and inviting, and its location—right in front of Schönbrunn Palace—made it a wonderful choice for those visiting the palace. There were plenty of nearby shops and cafes, which added to the convenience.
However, if you’re planning to do sightseeing in the main city, transportation is something to consider. You’d either need to take a taxi (about 15–20 minutes) or a tram (around 45 minutes). So, while this hotel is perfect for a Schönbrunn-focused stay, it might not be the most convenient base for exploring the entire city.
The staff were friendly, but one issue stood out—housekeeping. On our morning of departure, cleaning staff knocked on our door around 10–11 AM, seemingly checking when we would be leaving. Since checkout was at 12 noon, it felt like they were unnecessarily rushing us, which was a bit frustrating.
Another concern arose after checkout. We left our luggage near the baggage room at reception to explore more, and upon returning, the staff couldn’t locate our bags—even though we had the receipt given by the staff when we dropped them off. Instead, we were asked to search through the luggage ourselves in a room full of other guests’ belongings. This didn’t feel very secure, as it seemed possible for someone to mistakenly—or even intentionally—take another person’s bags. Better monitoring or improved staff training in this area would certainly enhance the experience.
Despite these issues, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were welcoming overall. With a few improvements in housekeeping procedures and baggage storage security, this could be an even better place to stay.

Rich variety of breakfast
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Vienna Main Station, and there is a tram passing by the door. The Belvedere Palace is next door, which makes it convenient for us to explore this beautiful city.
The staff were friendly and helpful and there was no problem at all with luggage storage.
We had a great time here and look forward to visiting again in the future.

VVerified Member🏨🚇🥐🧼🏙️ I think the hotel is in a very well-connected area. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the main bus and train terminal and just a short metro ride into Old Town for all your sightseeing needs.
The room was spacious with solid housekeeping and a clean, well-kept bathroom. No complaints regarding cleanliness — everything was taken care of. One thing to note is that the hotel is massive. We were given the very last room at the end of a long corridor, which meant it took nearly five minutes to walk to the elevator. So when you check in, I recommend asking for a room closer to the elevator, otherwise it can be a bit of a hassle going back and forth.
Something that left a bad taste was only being told at checkout that breakfast would be charged as an extra. My honest tip is that if you do decide to have breakfast, just don’t mention it. With the number of guests they manage, it’s unlikely they’ll track who actually showed up at the buffet. The breakfast itself was average — your typical hotel spread. The eggs tasted a bit off, but I made it work with multiple cappuccinos from the machine, plus some sausages and toast to fill up.
Overall, nothing fancy, but probably great value considering how expensive Vienna can be. Most importantly, the hotel is very well connected to public transit, with a metro station just a five-minute walk away. That line has frequent trains to and from Old Town, which made sightseeing super convenient.
I’ll probably stay here again, though I don’t think the breakfast is worth the price, and I do wish they had been more upfront about the cost from the beginning.

However, we went there during winter and the heater didn’t work and they weren’t not able to fix during that day. But it was fine, we can barely it because the room was warm enough.

SSinan OtluThe room was nice, but card was needed for the lights to function. Air conditioning was not working. I liked, that guests could receive drinking water at reception. I did not like, that the reception had to ask about the reservation confirmation and see that we reserved breakfast. My expectation is that they see it on the system already. Breakfast variety was nice, everything was to be found except olives. But the food on the buffet was not replenished at all or very slow. Every food refreshed on the buffet vanished in 2 minutes, because people were waiting for it for ages. Near the end of the breakfast, coffee machines were covered, so that we could not have one last coffee before leaving.

GGuest UserThere is no reception to help you to check in or check out. We do not know Germany, it is difficult to use the translation to fill in the form to complete the self-help check in. The room has everything you need to cook. It is very useful. There is no cleaning or rubbish bags. We need to clean the place and even to mop the house.
