The location just near the lake. Cleanliness was ok. Hotel very very small. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a family operated hotel. They cleaned the room immediately when requested. Hotel was old. Breakfast was simple with vegetarian options. But could not eat. The non- veg smell came from the wedges or hash browns. All were served in the same tray. They even cooked some rice dumpling and a planted based cracker like food. But pure vegetarian will not be able to eat. Bread and conger were ok. Same food both days. Water dispenser on 3rd floor. No air-conditioning. The window cannot close airtight. Only a thin perforated mobile door on 1 side. The outside temperature was too cold and the room air-conditioning was not able to on. Very disappointing.

Spring Ground Hotel is in good Location and close about 5mins drive to CingJing Farm. If you take Nan Tou Bus, you can drop off at Shou Ting Bus Stop, it will be just 1min walk to the Hotel. It's very convenience. Hotel's scenery and hotel itself is very Beautiful. In early of Nov, The weather is so nice. Day time is ok around 25c and Night Time around 15-18c. There is no need for air conditioner. Hotel Breakfast is just ok. If you want to go to CingJing Farm or small market, you can inform the hotel staff, they are nice to help you. Hotel also have a good Mala Hot Pot restaurant. Restaurant need you to order at least 1set per person but the price is reasonable and very good tasty. We are all happy staying here.

Xitou Xiati Hotel has a large house, good breakfast with diverse choices. I hope the dishes can be changed on odd and even days. The dinner price is OK, all ingredients are authentic. The room is also very considerate - Foot message, I went to Xitou Education Park for a walk and came back. I could massage my feet immediately. I could also take a bath on the balcony. It was really enjoyable. If time permits, I can take pictures and make key chains. It is a good hotel for vacation in Xitou. It’s just that I didn’t see fireflies due to the weather. I will stay here next time! PS. I used TDS meters to test the water quality of the water dispenser and tap, and I was very satisfied 😅😂😎

A hotel with an extremely scenic view. The only downside is that the hotel is not near to any food establishment and you need to take bus or taxi to reach the attractions or return to the hotel , if you do not have a car. Hence downloading the App “Find Taxi” is very important to us. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. They even offered us a ride to a restaurant nearby when we need to go for dinner.

The hotel has everything you would expect from a quality operation, but what made this stand out was the friendly staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful, making our stay the highlight of our trip to Taiwan

The environment here is perfect for a vacation and relaxation. In the morning, guests can enjoy a scenic view of Sun Moon Lake from the terrace. The breakfast provided is quite satisfactory, and boat tickets to the opposite shore are available. The service desk is available to assist with booking a taxi to the high-speed rail station at a reasonable price. For those looking to save on travel expenses, the bus station is nearby, and taking the bus to the high-speed rail station is a convenient option.

Room was abit small. There is a small balcony though. Can sit outdoor to look at the Sakura. Comes with free Swiss Garden, Qingjing farm tickets n free breakfast. Breakfast is good. Lots of varieties.

I booked Lake View Quad 1 Room 2 Nights. Inside the room two large double beds were placed side by side on one side of the room, leaving a small passage to place your luggages and to move within the room. The two beds were sufficient for 4 pax. But the beds were so close, there was no walking space between them. One can only get out of the bed via the foot of the bed. This is not ideal for senior people who may need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. So if you are travelling with seniors, take the twin / double room instead. The savings is not worth it. Plus the room has really limited space for 4 adults to be moving around. The plus point for this hotel is that it has an amazing view of the lake and there are many shops along the street. Do note that the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbours next door, especially if they sat at the balcony. There was no shower curtain so the whole toilet was wet after our shower. We didn't use the tub as it was not easy for the seniors to sit inside. No amenities except Shampoo and Body Soap.

The hotel is 3-minute walking distance to the pier and 800 meters to the cable car station. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the breakfast has both western and Chinese options. I would recommend anyone staying here to check Wi-Fi signals the moment you enter the room, as I had connectivity issues in the room, the connection keeps dropping out, and I couldn’t even make a voice call using the data network. This is very disappointing, as the internet is unusable. I was very disappointed

It's called a 3-star hotel, but it feels more like a B&B. I waited from 10:05 pm to 12:30 pm to take a shower, but there was no hot water. The counter staff only worked until 10 pm... It was a cold and rainy night in winter, and the I was very tired after a day of playing and wanted to take a bath to relax. I was speechless when I found out there was no hot water. When I was looking for a hotel, I specifically chose one with a bathtub, but I ended up choosing a lonely one... The next morning, I asked the hotel staff and they said There were too many people and it was too late to supply hot water. If we knew this would happen, we should have reminded the guests or installed more hot water supply equipment...
