"Where does one start? We were here for only 2 nights before we headed to Yangshao but would have liked to stay longer. The location is convenient, walking distance to the sun & moon and various restaurant/shops. The hotel is pristine. The rooms were excellent; clean, firm bed, fantastic shower, well equipped with the usual toiletries.... anything else was available from the reception. No need for the traditional kettle as there was an instant water dispenser for tea or other, varying the temperature as desired. It's very tech savvy, good for me but did need to explain to my elderly parents. There's a free laundry service, breakfast was just right with a diverse selection of offerings. The restaurant for dinner was good value with delicious offerings. Most of all, were the super helpful and friendly staff; from reception, breakfast service, dinner and housekeeping... they were faultless. I highly recommend.The hotel piccies are a true reflection of the rooms so not sharing but will post a picture of the Guilin famous beer fish dish, which was very yummy. ❤️"

"Probably the best customer experience in China so far! Staff is extremely nice and helpful, even though not all speak English. Hotel team does the best to make your stay amazing! Hotel has central location, about 7 mins walk to Sun/Moon Pagodas. Room is huge in Twin, comfy bed, bath tab, shower, all the necessary supplies and complimentary soda drinks in the fridge 💖 breakfast is mainly Chinese traditional, but still you can find many variations for western taste. There is a SPA in the building and Tourist counter where you can book all excursions. Hotel staff efficiently arranged 2 sessions of massage in the SPA for late evening hours and massage was just fantastic! You can also get the discount as a resident. On the first floor there is super tasty Hong-Kong style restaurant. As I already mentioned, hospitality and care was amazing ! Would definitely choose again and recommend this accommodation! P.S extra thanks to a guy from morning shift on the front desk (sorry, don’t know the name)! Very caring 💖 and more thanks for unexpected traditional style gifts that we received on our check-out and leaving 💖"

"I am a world traveler and have stayed in Guilin many times. This is my now my favorite hotel in China and one my best hotel experiences anywhere. I stayed for one week. This is an intimate, boutique style hotel. Service consistently exceeded expectations from every staff member - at check-in, dining room, housekeeping, daily free laundry, free cultural and activity experiences, concierge assistance - outstanding level of friendly service. Staff at the front desk speak English. We also took advantage of the free costume photography and unique chime and bowl singing mediation. The value is excellent for the affordable cost. The bedding assured a great night sleep and the room had a spectacular view of the river and mountain. We were provided free drink, including my favorite local beer, and snacks from our room mini-cooler! The hotel has a great location near many attractions, and also has access to a long river walkway behind the hotel that takes you to one of the major parks. Many excellent food choices for Chinese style breakfast with the famous Guilin noodle. There is no bar at this hotel, but I brought my beer or drinks and smokes up to the rooftop terrace to relax with the spectacular view. Lounge sofa chairs in the lobby openair balcony overlook the Li Jiang river flowing by. Delightful place to relax with a drink from the coffee/tea service. (It was closed unfortunately for two days I was there, due to a meeting. Ask when you check in about availability of this feature.) Taxis were available when needed, literally, within a minute of ordering. I also took advantage of simple facilities in a gym space and a large and fun kids play room when a toddler came to visit. Overall, the best place to stay for vacation time in Guilin."

"The hotel is nestled within a park, offering a truly tranquil experience. Occasionally, we'd have monkeys visiting, which was a delightful close encounter with wildlife that the kids absolutely loved. The hotel's service and staff attitude were truly outstanding – absolutely nothing to fault. Every request was met with a prompt and helpful response, truly embodying the 'customer first' philosophy. We initially planned to stay just one night, but the kids enjoyed it so much they didn't want to leave, so we extended our stay to three days. If I had to pick a downside, it would be that the hotel is a bit of a distance from the main park entrance. This means relying on the hotel's designated electric shuttle for getting in and out (though ironically, the kids absolutely adored these rides – I'm still not sure what they found so appealing!). On another note, the hotel's dining was excellent; my two daughters loved the braised eggplant dish so much they ordered it three times!"

"The room had a great view. We arrived a bit early, and our twin room wasn't quite ready yet. Seeing that we had a child, the lovely lady at the front desk proactively upgraded us to a family room. Our little one was absolutely thrilled upon entering the room, which featured a rocking horse and a small tent. The spacious room offered plenty of room for activities, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. In the morning, we took our child for breakfast. We also discovered facilities like a ball pit upstairs. If only we hadn't been in a rush, we would have loved to stay for another two days! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Guilin. The gentleman at the front desk was also very attentive and helpful whenever we needed something or had questions. "Traveling with my parents this time, booking two separate rooms felt a bit wasteful, so we opted for the family suite at Global Village. It was our first time choosing a suite, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is ideally located, very close to Elephant Trunk Hill. The rooms are newly renovated and exactly as pictured; the two separate rooms were perfect for our family of three. The hotel offers a decent breakfast, including freshly prepared Guilin rice noodles and a good selection of other dishes. They also have a good variety of complimentary beverages; guests can pick up bottled water and teas at the front desk. The staff service was excellent. When we accidentally left an item in our room, the customer service team quickly helped us resolve the issue."

"The room was a bit on the small side, but the location is excellent. It's super convenient for exploring, with both Dongxi Alley and Elephant Trunk Hill just a 5-minute walk away. In the evenings, strolling along the river to see Xiaoyao Tower and the beautiful riverside night views was really pleasant. While the room felt a little cramped, considering the price, it's a pretty good deal. I heard other hotels on Binjiang Road charge 700-800 RMB a night."

"One of our best stays in china with our family. This place i a small village. Like most in china it’s newly (re)build. There are guestrooms. And attracts day visitors. Mostly chinese families to do activities or swim in the river. We extended from 2 to 4 days. After spending much time in hot and crowded cities this stay in a natural environment was perfect. The rooms and facilities are beautiful. There is a small swimming pool. We were lucky the water level was low so you can swim in the river. Three days later it rained hard and it was impossible to swim. But doesnt occur often. We also did several activities like pottery workshop which is free for guest. Only pay when you want to have it baked. Will take 20 days, around 80 yuan but dont ship international. The place is about 1:20 from guilin west train station and 50 minutes to li river three star ferry port. And 1:30 from yuoshan city."
