"We initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff. When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough. If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting. A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance. If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay. A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks."

"We stayed for 2 nights at this facility to climb mt emei. We had a wonderfull time at this location. This has many Reasons, but the most important one was that everything was very clean and the service was very hospitable and Nothing was too much asked. The location itself is a good place to start walking on mt emei or just relax and take a look at the Monastery next to the hotel. The Food was also very delicious and we got an abundance of fruit. All in all a very good place to stay and if you are thinking of booking, just do it."

"For the compact three-day and two-night trip to Mount Emei, we chose Anlan, located in the low mountain area. In general, this is a place with scenery, design, taste and warmth. The B&B currently has a total of 9 rooms, each of which is exquisitely designed and reasonably laid out. You can overlook the distant mountains by stepping into the balcony or window. The B&B is a must-go point for hiking. There are many hiking spots nearby, and it is also very close to Qingyin Pavilion and Wannian Temple. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the Shengshui Zen Temple. The legendary holy spring water is the first spring in Emei. The hotel has thoughtfully prepared bottles for guests to draw water and boil tea. It is recommended to stay a little longer to walk around the Shengshui Zen Temple and visit the back mountain of the Zen temple. You will definitely feel that there is a different world. The owner and work team of the B&B are very kind and enthusiastic, and provided great help for this trip. They will help with parking, moving luggage, informing about the tours, and providing pick-up and drop-off services at the bus station. If you are tired of playing, they will prepare delicious meals in advance for you to go home. I have to say that the taste of the dishes for breakfast and dinner is very online. During the chat with the boss, I can feel that the boss is a down-to-earth, idealistic and positive person. The homestay will be gradually expanded in the future, driving the development of the nearby homestay ecology, and there will be some public welfare activities, which is really admirable. This time the time is too rushed, next time I plan to stay for a few more days to experience the relaxing time in the mountains."

"Xiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!"

"This is a fantastic B&B. I called the owner to ask about the exact location before booking, and he was very patient in explaining it. I booked it right away. It's really comfortable to stay at the foot of the mountain. I was naturally woken up by the birds early in the morning, and the air outside was so fresh when I opened the curtains. The breakfast noodles were very good, and there were also a variety of complementary foods. The B&B is just over a 10-minute walk from the bus stop for going up the mountain. The scenery along the way in the morning was beautiful. The B&B also provides a luggage delivery service to the high-speed rail station (you have to pay for the storage fee yourself, but it's worth it to have it delivered directly to the high-speed rail station entrance. It's quick and convenient). It's very convenient for you to visit Jinding without any worries."
